According to the LemonCoin block explorer there are more than 10,000,000 LEMONs out in the wild. Investing 1 BTC on C-CEX you can buy about 1,000,000 LEMONs which is about 1/10 of all coins available according to the block explorer. That's no big deal at the current mining rate. Why should anyone invest into Lemons, now? Nevertheless it's a pitty that LemonCoin is going to be dropped from C-CEX due to low trade volumes. |

You're missing the point completely, deliberately I presume. Offering to move the premine somewhere eise doesn't make it magically disappear or solve the problem. As long as there is a 50%+ premine this coin won't go anywhere. You have consistently ignored requests to publish the premine amount in the OP, choosing instead to hide it from any potential new investors. Also, 4 months ago you said this:

To be able to fork 611 coin I recommend to setup an ICO (Initial Coin Offering) to collect funds needed for operational costs, active code development and marketing. You need a crew to get things flying There are a lot of things which can be improved setting up a fork of this project if you can provide the resources needed  Look through the announcment threads & you will see that any coin with a premine of over 10% gets laughed at, & rightly so. Trying to defend a premine of over 50% is just insane - think about it.

I agree with your opinion. 611 coin has never been designed to work as a payment system replacement like other famous coin projects can do. It wouldn't work out for the masses due to technical limitations. Just do the math; it would be billionaires domain name and payment system  611 coin has been designed to prove what's possible if you combine blockchain technology with the public internet domain name service. That's unique and it's working great for more than a year, now It's just insane. A constantly degrading mining block value has been setup to prevent inflation. But it was too late ... As an altcoin, 611 coin is leaking trust needed to attract the e-coin community to support this project due to early design flaws. Nevertheless I would like to thank you - the 611 community! It would be great to see this project forked without a premine, or to see this premine burned.
Right now the unique 611 name service features are rarely in use. You can run the following 611(-qt) client command to list domain names registered: Help -> Debug window -> Console: name_scan. At the current mining rate, about 144 new SIL coins are mined each day which are about 4,400 coins per month or about 50k per year. Summing up the balance distribution on C-CEX there are about 40-45k coins available for trade at the moment. Looking at the balance distribution charts and trade history you may notice that no SIL coins have been burned or sold off since I've published 611 coin on Bitcointalk. Setting up a fork of 611 coin is not as easy as setting up a fork for any other coin. 611 coin is an online coin! Based on coin ownership you can publish information anonymously using the included domain name service. Forking 611 coin requires setting up and maintaining the needed domain name infrastructure to link this coin to the public internet. Current 611 operation would not be possible without generous (non profit) donations. In case 611 coin hits a significant demand I'm glad to keep my promise to take care that the development premine will be used for charitable donations and for sure I'm going to share these steps with the community. I'm willing to escrow the development premine offline if someone is donating the costs for a secure offline storage in Switzerland (or Singapore Freeport). |

Forked from Namecoin the Bitcoin protocol is augmented with 611 operations, to reserve, register and update names. In addition to DNS like entries, arbitrary name/value pairs are allowed and multiple namespaces will be available. This will include a personal handle namespace mapping handles to public keys and personal address data.
The protocol differences from bitcoin include:
- different blockchain, port, IRC bootstrap, dnsseed and message header
- new transaction types: new, first-update, update
- validation on the new transaction types
- rpc calls for managing names
- increased network fees to slow down the initial rush and to prevent abuse
- doubled mining rate to make 611 operations more interactive

b) the transaction fees for the name_new and the name_firstupdate transactions.

<611-name> is your .611.to domain name without .611.to, in lowercase. For internationalized domain names, the IDNA ASCII standard applies. Unicode entries are not supported.
To check if the name is available, use the command line

If the name is available you can now pre-order the name with the following command:
The output will look like this: "0e0e03510b0b0b7dbba6e301e519693f66162121b29f3cd3a6652c238360d0d0", "9f212ff4a582fd65"
This will reserve a name but it's still not visible yet (and you still don't own the domain!). Make a note of the short hex number! You will need it for the next step. Wait at least 12 blocks, which is usually about an hour and then finalize your registration by issueing the following command:
name_firstupdate d/<611-name> <short hex number> '<json-value>'
-> update and renew a domain name
Use the name_update command if you want to change the <json-value> of your domain.
Furthermore, name_update command is used for the renewal of a registration:
name_update d/<name> '<json-value>'
This step is neccessary to prevent your <611-name> from expiring before the block countdown is heading towards zero! Each name_update resets the expire time to the maximum value, which is the block number below block #108000 and fixed to 108000 blocks after that time:

Using the new [Let's Encrypt] certbot you can have a secure ssl website up and running anonymously within an hour You are welcome to join the discussion and share your 611 project(s). do i need hosting? how to get encrypted website fast ? Depends on your website project. If it's a local website i.e. remote control equipment simply setup a 611 d/name pointing to your IPv4 and/or IPv6 address. If you like to publish a website with a 611 domain name I would recommended you to rent a vps or dedicated server.
