Did my first trade on here with him today, sent the guy £80 in 2 increments via UK faster payment bank transfer for 12.69BTC (Intersango rate + 10%)
I went first since im new here, was all done in 30mins and he was polite and quick to answer pm's.

Would definitely trade again.

My guess is its a SR wallet as well, after taking a look around the place a few months back there are a large number of sellers and the top sellers take hundreds, sometimes thousands of BTC everyday and Dread Pirate Roberts gets 10% of all of them, sometimes less on higher transactions but still that is a large chunk of coin...
Off the Tony76 scam DPR made 10,000$ in one weekend and that was just off one seller.
That and the fact he gave away at least 10k BTC over that weekend, with other prizes like macbooks, phones and a crazy holiday.

Yeah didn't make much sense to me either since my transfers to my partners account (Barclays > Barclays) show up within seconds, just dug up the reply I got from support.

Was using Intersango until recently since they had a much faster turnaround 2-10hrs usually, but after the recent problems and having my funds still tied up in there 10 days after a transfer I think im going to stick to trading on here.

Have heard good things about direct deposits with BitInstant, you still have to go into the bank and make the deposit so I guess it's semi anonymous. (Hood up and face away from cameras etc)
Heard of some people still doing direct deposits into MtGox too, although MtGox advise against it so it's pretty risky.

If you look around there are also a couple of people that accept cash in the mail for coins, imo this is probably the most anonymous you can get doing a cash for coin exchange, just the trust issue to deal with there.

I spoke with support at MtGox regarding UK transfers a while back, since faster payments show up instantly I was wondering why I didn't get credited for 2 days. I was told that as they are based in Japan it takes longer for the payment to show in there account...?

For really fast trades there are a few guys on here and OTC that do UK Bank > Bank transfers, did my first trade this way on here today and from first pm to coins in wallet it took maybe 3hrs so that's always an option if you need the coin fast.
