1  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Hashkings Lending,Deposit 1.25% INSURED, ALL PPT ACCOUNTS CLOSING ON 8/19 on: January 31, 2013, 12:00:39 PM
I can't understand why no one has approached HK in person. Maybe they already have and settled the debt? How would you know?
Unfortunately for me I don't live in America but if I did I would be going straight to his doorstep and demanding my coins...
Also HK's cell phone still seems to be in use but whenever I call he hangs up on me.

So why have you stopped the repayments?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / blockchain.info request declined on: November 23, 2012, 02:53:59 AM
I recently had to restore my iphone firmware and lost my google authenticator.
I have tried to remove the two factor authentication from my account but received an email saying it was declined.
I have replied to blockchain.info asking for assistance but have not received a reply.
If there are any staff here from blockchain.info could you please provide me with some assistance.

Thank you

This is not a small amount of money HK. I had thousands of dollars in your fund. I have a friend who had 10's of thousands of dollars in your fund. We want that money back because you guaranteed it. This wasn't a pirate fund. You are responsible for paying back what you owe. You better start making clear what exactly you plan to do to get it back. Filing for bankruptcy doesn't mean anything.

I apologize for not responding in the last few weeks, but I have been spending the majority of my time trying to figure out a way to make good on the BTCs that are owed to everyone.  With the amount that is owed and I will never be able to make everyone happy.  I feel very bad for this and really have no other means of making everyone whole.  If there is a recovery of funds from the parties that owe BTCs to me,  I will keep my database and disburse when received.  Once again I apologize and am very sorry for the situation that everyone has been put in.

I bet you came out ahead though.   Grin

I wish this was true.  I had sent out what ever bitcoins I had and am also in bad spot due to personal credit ran up to invest in btcst.  I will probably be looking to file for a bankruptcy as this whole mess has ruined my financial situation.

We don't give a shit if this mess ruined your financial situation. You stated that the fund was 100% guaranteed and insured. You own property, you own a car and by the sound of it you also have a job as a real estate agent. I suggest you put your property on the market and sell whatever else you have because you owe a lot of money. This debt is not going to go away and people like myself are getting more and more anxious about getting what is owed returned. It wasn't until someone posted your details on here that you responded. Well whats going to happen when someone turns up at your doorstep?

I already explained my situation.  I cant give you something I dont have.  My debts at this point far more then exceed any assets I have and filing for bankruptcy is the only thing that makes sense.  Also if you are going to show up to someones doorstep I would be very careful about threatening them.  You might not like what they have for you.

So what are you telling us? You're filing for bankruptcy and your not going to pay back anymore coins?

Has anyone contacted HK by phone or in person?
He has been logging onto this forum daily so why is it so hard to give us an update?
If anyone has his details please PM me.

Hashking, we need more information. Don't pull this "bag of air" tactic on us with empty posts, vague information, and stalling. Either default and run away, so I can absorb my losses and move on, or let us know up-front what the deal is.

If you read my announcement, then you would know what the deal is.  Please go back and read it again.  I almost feel like you guys want me to run.

Will todays repayment be sent out soon?
9  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: List of Lying deposit takers, and the reasons why on: September 09, 2012, 03:49:11 AM
The package is just being opened.  Anyone claiming to know "the truth" is defending a position in which they have a vested interest.

I'm glad to see more people taking a rational approach and not fabricating nonsense.  It's not as if everything will remain secret forever and there aren't any points for guessing right at this time.

There are only 2 positions that an invested person, SUCH AS YOURSELF, can be part of:

1) Coward, in fear of losing it 'all'....showing your constant public support for Trendon, so that YOU are paid out in the end based on accumulated brownie points.

2) Insider, with knowledge of what is actually happening, hence no reason for you to panic like the rest of the investors....acting smug and laughing at all of us, this entire time.

There is NO OPTION 3.... The 'Level Headed, Faith-having, Trusting option that has no fear'.

Pick a side.

One other option. Turning off the computer, going outside and enjoying what you have left...

13  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Hashkings Lending,Deposit 1.25% INSURED, ALL PPT ACCOUNTS CLOSING ON 8/19 on: September 08, 2012, 10:02:50 AM
If assistance is given to HK from other lenders then it makes sense to declare a default. People will then sell their debt back to the lending cartel at reduced rate.
14  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Hashkings Lending,Deposit 1.25% INSURED, ALL PPT ACCOUNTS CLOSING ON 8/19 on: September 08, 2012, 09:49:37 AM
Odd, I have a deposit with 0% interest?

Deposit of 31    btc.
Deposit made on: 2012-07-16
Weekly interest rate: 0%
Weekly or compound interest: Compound
Current total(deposit + interest earned): 35.36559603    btc
Locked in until: 2012-09-10

It appears that interest payments have been stopped on all accounts.
Looking forward to the update from HK.

Well since I was named...

I have bought back my Insured Pirate bonds...

I have bought back my Uninsured non guaranteed tygrr bond D...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=98421.msg1169673#msg1169673

I do not at all need help from the lending cartel and was able to manage my own risk... Yes I'm pretty destroyed by this mess but I still covered my debts.

Thank you...

Sorry - wasn't meaning to imply otherwise, just say that a lot of us work together to prevent depositors noticing any liquidity problems on our end in response to Zen. I'm focused on salvaging the situation, keeping us all in good standing with the community, and moving forward as a collective, and wanted it known - for selfish purposes.

It appears that HK is having liquidity problems. My interest payments have been stopped. Is hashking a member of the cartel and will assistance be provided to him by you?

I am currently waiting 2 weeks on interest and a withdraw :/

Do you mean for the PPT or for the insured deposit?

18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin stabalizing again or will it plummet even further than the weekend? on: August 21, 2012, 04:15:42 PM
These bids are so thin for someone who wants the price to go up so badly. And the walls are so fake. It's pretty clear someone's got a lot to sell right now, IMHO. The price is only increasing so they can get people to line up their bids for the next big sell-off.

Agreed. I'm suprised we're still sitting at $10. It's just a matter of time.
19  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: The sorry and thank you Pirateat40 thread on: August 19, 2012, 09:13:32 AM
some base to pour on the vitriol
Thank you for the eloquent post. The difference in language between the pro- and anti- pirate crowd is stark!  Cheesy

The sad, funny thing about BTCST's demise is that the interest rate was simply too high. Had pirate given 1, or 2, or 3% out and kept the difference for himself, nobody would have cried ponzi and it could have chugged along with other ventures. But instead he generously gave out 7% -- a majority of his earnings -- which ultimately lead to the ponzi FUD and downfall. His kindness was his weakness  Cry

Sure he could have chugged along with the other ventures. But do you think he could have accumulated half a million bitcoins?
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Savings & Trust closing! Effect on market? on: August 19, 2012, 08:57:37 AM
I don't think the price manipulation is over yet...surely not before pirate pays out his lenders.
As you said price will drop after he pays out but we may see another spike before he does.
