81  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] CLOUDMINR.IO Mining contracts || 0.0015 BTC / GHS on: February 13, 2015, 06:03:33 AM
Cold feet? Where is all that confidence and condescending attitude now? The details are as follows. Purchased 1Th on Black Friday and purchased 15 ghash with rebuy soon after to test it out.

My mined amount is > my Payment amount....  Still want to make a bet? I will escrow with trusted 3rd party.

How much, and don't say some Mbtc amount.

Well thank you cloudminr.oi!

Today I turned my first profit on a terra hash that I purchased on novembre 30th.  That is ROI in less than 75 days!!!!!The price was right but I found the reviews where few. There where not many positive reviews so I split my investments between cloudminr.oi and hashie. I paid more for hashie because I thought it was less likely to be a scam due to attractive price of cloudminr.io . Well I was wrong and I wanted to let everyone know.

I have had a few interactions with the Support staff and I want to praise them for their promptness, listening to my concerns and excellent attitudes.

Anyone thinking of investing in cloud mining should definitely consider cloudminr.io.

I will be recommending your service to friends and family interested in Bitcoin.

If you guys are still handing our free VIP I would really appreciate and take advantage of that.
Keep up the good work and anyone considering making an investment can contact me for personal feelings on the experience ( tried to say as much as I could here but I am happy to answer any questions anyone might have about my experience)

85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes our job so hard to spread awareness on: December 06, 2014, 01:32:51 AM
In my experience, I started telling people Bitcoin would change the world as we know it in 2012, People don't want an alternative to currency. Sure most who have a clue know that the system is broken but to them the thought of anything else just scares them. People fear change. Unless there is a BIG event the average person does not feel compelled to change what the foundation of what how our society operates.

My question to you is why do you feel you need to convince them? I know my reasons were pure and I will assume that your intention is to help people but preaching Bitcoin to the average person is like telling an alcoholic he needs to stop drinking. He may know what your saying is true but will fight and defend their position to the bitter end. All I can say is practice what you preach. If you believe in Bitcoin than live your life accordingly.

Funny enough is  I get calls constantly from people who I tried to tell about Bitcoin. They want me to do it all for them at for them for nothing because they think it will make them rich. I did this a few times and when they lose 10% they get all hostile about having "trusted" me. I had this happen with friends of mine but funny thing was when they were up 100%+ my efforts were still not recognized.

For me Bitcoin represents freedom, sovernty and self determination. Those are beautiful things that one must discover for themselves. Regardless of the position of Bitcoin vs fiat I will forever be contributing to the network in some capacity. If you are involved in Bitcoin for the wrong reasons I can see how it can be scary, especially when the media is spreading FUD.

Long live decentra

Instead of spreading those coin I say distribute hashing power to all people of the world. That should give people enough to get them interested.
87  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Novello Technologies new Mining System Project, prices as low as $0.3/GH on: June 05, 2014, 02:53:56 PM
Hello,

I am considering funding your project but I would like know what the difference is between the 49' and the 500' options. I went through your website and I would strongly recommend having a more professional website created as it looks..... Well it looks bad is all I can say. I really appreciate the balance your organization is looking to return to the mining market. This is the main reason why I am considering funding you. I feel like you are bringing a business perspective that is not entirely profit driven and I can really get behind something like that.

I think your investors will be people like me so focus on what your strengths are and don't let the naysayers discourage your efforts; though I do think you still fall short as far as passing the smells test. There have been good suggestions made previously about increasing your credibility. Maybe some more specific engineering data that can be verified by forum members. (Wish it would mean something to me, other than independent verification)

Good luck!

To those whom are complaining about the way that pyramiding works... I must remind you of the most important rule of business it is CAVEAT EMPTOR which is Latin for buyer be ware. If you have sent btc to pyramining then the only way to get your money back is to wait for rewards to be paid out. If you claim that you were ignorant to this fact... Well I would remind you that you invested not understanding and that is no one's fault but your own.

Otherwise I think pyramining is an excellent invest oppurtunity, but you must understand the dynamics of the btc market. Bottom line is if make investments based on the idea of making a killing than more often than not you will be disappointed.

Nice to see some progress happening, gj and gl pyramining. We are counting on you.

Just saying but i would have never took a single GPU down if Bitminter was minting LTC. Even if it was a separate server or site.

i thought that i might own this address but it was somekind of "change" address that was somehow was lost. I
am not super technically savy but i am trying to make heads or tails of the situation. I have heard of people recovering bitcoins from similar situations and though this might be possible, please share your opinions of what you think the situation might be and some possible ways to correct what i hope is just some misplaced bitcoins. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me get access to my bitcoins.
92  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 11 btc gone from my account at 6:00 just a few hours ago, HELP! on: May 09, 2013, 03:17:04 AM
If it is not listed in your "From" addresses then you do not have the private key.  So, you do not own the BTC.

Whoever has them has not moved them...  Interesting.

It IS listed in both send and receive areas!!!!
93  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 11 btc gone from my account at 6:00 just a few hours ago, HELP! on: May 09, 2013, 03:14:55 AM
Burt i do see a transaction on that day for -0.002 transaction. in the to\from section it says in gray "moved between wallet"

Again what would the private key be? is that something i should know or have access to? i do have backups of my wallet send regularly to my e-mail.
94  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 11 btc gone from my account at 6:00 just a few hours ago, HELP! on: May 09, 2013, 03:08:29 AM
The 1 BTC in question are still here: http://blockchain.info/address/1LqYm5CM6T7QS9kDHRfPckMxZa2nfFN1wV
Log in to your Blockchain.info wallet.
Go to the "Spend Money" tab.
Click on "Custom"
There should now be a list of "From:" addresses in the Custom Transaction area.
Look through all the "From:" addresses.
Is 1LqYm5CM6T7QS9kDHRfPckMxZa2nfFN1wV listed?

Report back.

ALSO

Go to the "My Transactions" tab.
Navigate back in time to 2013-04-07 10:01:57 and see if there are any transactions around that time in your wallet.
Report back what it says about the transaction.

FINALLY

Go to the "Receive Money" tab.
Look through all the addresses listed there.
Is 1LqYm5CM6T7QS9kDHRfPckMxZa2nfFN1wV listed?

Report back.

Thanks!

ALright you are right about it being a watch only, i cannot spend without the "private key". Any idea what this might be, or how i would figure it out. But yes i did see the address listed and also in the receive money it is listed, as a watch only address though
