Gotta Say I am really impressed ..I have been using it for the last 3 hours and you guys have really hit the mark for a web based platform

The console really rocks ..I look forward to scripting some actions for uber fast action Wink

Only question is can I add the same Cross pair twice so that I can have the order book/trades and or Candlestick chart open at the same time Huh

Hey thanks!!

Check two posts up Wink

https://cryptrader.com/FAQ

Q: How can I open more than one chart per exchange/pair?

A:

To open all charts at once, click the little coin logo icon located in the upper left of the selected portal.

This button will open a separate page / dashboard with all 4 major charts added, each updating live in real time.

This was taken from their FAQ page... you can find it here. https://cryptrader.com/FAQ

Q: Is it safe to trade through this website? Does using it give CrypTrader access to my funds?

A:

Using API keys with permissions on a browser based trading platform is by far the safest way to trade. It does not give anyone including CrypTrader access to your funds.

API keys allow you to only execute trades, retrieve a balance, and get trade history as well as open order status. If an attacker gained access to your CrypTrader account, the worst they could do is trade for you. API keys ensure that your funds can not be withdrawn and are locked safely in the exchange.

Trading directly on the exchange's website exposes you to all sorts of threats from attackers such as cross server scripting attacks as well as phishing attempts using imitation pages ect. If an attacker gains access to your exchange account, withdrawal of your funds may be possible. Staying logged out of exchanges is a good idea when browsing around the web.

With a downloadable program you expose yourself to all sorts of threats on your local machine. Programs / executables can install keyloggers, steal wallet files, or change copied bitcoin addresses in your clipboard, and much more.

By using CrypTrader, you can rest assured that nobody will be able to access your exchange accounts and it creates the perfect barrier to block attackers from gaining access to your funds.

Stop orders continue to execute while offline... Unfortunately mintpal's API is not live yet.

I still don't get what the big deal is...
In one word: SECURITY

So what, so some guy makes an argument (and that's all it is, an argument, nothing technically wrong with the coin) about time frames and mint phases ect, and what HE THINKs is best...

We can all speculate on how things will play out, but fact of the matter is, not one single person or one single crypto-currency will ever get supply/demand/time correct. Its impossible to predict the traction something will gain/not gain with any sort of real accuracy. Adding the voting was a new and innovative way of trying to deal with this reality, and is offering a much better experiment/feature then 99% of the all the other coins out there.

Also, all of you claiming the coin is dead because its not getting a complete make over every week...  The devs are not required to do anything but pass out bounties, and "SUPPORT THE COIN". Implementing some random dudes argument about what he thinks is better IS NOT part of their responsibility.

Does the Litecoin developer sit in the Litecoin thread all day long responding to trolls?? No... He does not, and nobody cares because all that matters is security updates and basic bug fixes. No little argument about economic models is going to change the rules of Litecoin, and subsequently the whole game for all the investors who already bought in already knowing and agreeing to those rules. To change the coin properties based on one speculator would be unfair to everyone else.

ALSO, why wouldn't you just trade on your speculation about what will happen to price down the road, when it happens, Instead of coming in here now and making multiple long posts about it?? Especially if you were a supposed stake holder... I think we all know by now that there really is only one reason to do such things... Just sad how much this coin has taken a beating from all this. Could have really had some natural momentum going for it from the starting line, but now everyone is all skeptical because of the price drop.   Angry
Don't take anyone's word for it. Breakout a spreadsheet or get out your calculator and some paper and do a few math problems.  Will take you all of 5 or 10 minutes. You can easily figure out what the vote counts will do to the different phases of the coin. Just run it 3 times.  Vote of 1, 512 and 1024 to see the extremes and mid vote.  Then use a number you think from your gut that will be the vote count entering each phase.

What happens and will there be miners left in the sustain phase?  If not you have a security problem and the coin is compromised.  You'll see for yourself what happens with a mid-point vote of 512 which more then likely will be close to the vote give or take 150.  Reward jumps up in second phase (which will more then likely cause the coin to de-value as more coins are being produced.  Then it drops to at most 8 HVC in 3rd phase.  How does the coin survive a 100 fold decrease in mining profitability?  It can't in all but the most likelyhood.  When you loose miners, you loose hashing and all your coins security.

But again, don't take anyone's word for it.  Do the math yourself, then come back and post what you find.  Then decide if it's something you want to mine now or invest in.

If the answer is YES, then you basically have as much coins to buy cheap now that you want.

LOL cayars...

"Do the math yourself" LOL. You're still only speculating on what the value/price will be. You cant "do the math" without that variable....

So I don't get it... other than the devs not being very active in this forum, (they are available and very responsive via bitmessage) whats this major problem everyone is talking about? The fact that the miners can "manipulate" the vote upwards supposedly in their favor?? The vote is actually currently at its lowest since release.. no?

Wow... Looks like the trolls have fully taken over. so sad  Angry

I have been so busy working on CrypTrader I just have not had time to fight the trolls anymore myself. Amazing to me how out of all the crapto-currencies out there, people lose faith in this one so easily, shows that herd mentality is sometimes stronger than what is actually being traded.  Looks like this will be a longer term investment.

With all this effort being placed into trolling, it just indicates an interest by some groups of people to to control the market... which usually means they will be pumping the crap out of it some point in the future. I will just wait till that happens and sell a little at that point to hedge risk of this being repeated. Long term though I just don't see this not being a very valuable coin still, especially once the LTC scrypts are out in full effect... there are going to be so many new people interested.

seriously... lets stop quoting the trolls. feel free to smash them up good, but don't give them the luxury of having their FUD repeated in the forum!

LOL, Wow... I leave for a few days and return to find the trolls just running a muck!

Was this Stratobitz guy's account hacked or something??

No way that's the same guy... just look at his previous posts.. Talk about an attitude change. LOL

Reality check.. HeavyCoin is the only coin to come out recently sporting serious innovations.

The future is bright and filled with many many "Alt Coins", and HVC is definitely one of them... Just give it some time and don't keep letting these trolls buy cheap!

Brad where's this article? Tongue

Well, I'm not writing it, so I cant say for sure.. but I was just interviewed Friday by a really cool reporter at a "very large" tech blog about the KWG TW exploits among other things crypto. I was explaining how HVC already has a solution out in the wild as well as some of the other innovations it offers. Pretty sure the article will be released early next week now, and should provide a lot of good exposure Smiley

Probably shouldn't have said anything here though since I have no control over the articles content or release... just got excited.

Wow, there are some real pieces of work here in this thread... If you think Bitcoin is the only crypto of the future, you're delusional. Alt coins help distribute the wealth and help more people to get into the world of crypto-currencies. If you are a large holder of bitcoin and think that you deserve to be filthy rich just because you were lucky enough to hear about it early, then you are no different then the scumbags that currently control the money system. I got into BTC when it was a dollar, and I fully support alternate crypto-currencies. I think its very healthy for Bitcoin as a whole because it just brings more interest into the space. BTW, more coins do not negatively affect the price of BTC, in fact it generally helps because in order to enter the crypto-currency market you generally have to buy BTC first! Just like the dollar gets boosted by being priced in USD... This is the free market at its finest, no longer do we have to rely on central authority scumbags and beg for them to throw us a bone. If there is a community of people who require a currency specific to their needs, one will sprout up from the bottom, and nobody can stop them! It will find a value relative to their productivity and it's acceptance, allowing for the smooth transfer of value with no bottlenecks and would be controllers.  "Alt Coins" will continue to survive/spread/innovate whether you like it or not, and are an important part of the revolution that is P2P money...

I'm sure as most of you know.... ALL ALT COINS ARE TANKING. They always return with BTC...

Panic sell now, and be very sorry later...

That is the real picture

But the mothefucker has made some 3BTC orders trying to pressing the price down.

Dunno. Buying pressure is way under sell prices. This trend could continue.... Bought in at 60. May sell some and buy back when cheaper. It's on a strong trend down. Sad

All alts are on a down trend right now... it will recover soon.

Yesterday it was on a STRONG up trend. So things can change pretty quickly.
