Advertising and marketing is of course good but if project itself has nothing to offer and they are showing it as if it is super project, you can be mistaken.

For me project's idea, team members, advisors and early investors make an altcoin good.

A lot of people will say that the credit is not all due to Bitcoin but to blockchain tech itself but you're right. It's impossible to deny Bitcoin's spotlight has helped to encourage more growth in altcoins. Of course, a lot of alts were already around for many years, even when Bitcoin wasn't as recognized as it is today in mainstream, but these developers surely knew first about Bitcoin or participated as early adopters.

And Bitcoin isn't too bad in terms of performance in price. Yes, other alts have shown great percentage growths, but a 10% growth at 10k dollars is immeasurably harder to achieve than 100% growth at 1 dollar.

Most of us expected the price of bitcoin continue to increase because of the demand. There are so many investor on bitcoin . But I don't know the price of bitcoin exactly this 2018.

For BTC mining go for an ASIC miner. For an altcoin mining rig divide you budget at least for a capable CPU like the 4th gen i3 or the Pentium g4400 if you go Intel for AMD at least a good FX CPU or go for the Ryzen 3 1200 which you could also use for mining if you want , a good but cheap motherboard, at least a 4gb ram and it depends on the system(for the newer gen it will be ddr4), at least a 125gb SSD for a fast boot if you encountered a problem but if you do not want an SSD an HDD will do, and for the last a very good PSU because you do not want to burn your system(for brands check Corsair, EVGA, Be Quiet, Fractal Design, Inwin, Rosewill,Super Flower and Seasonic). The majority of your budget will go to the GPUs and also do not forget to buy PCIE raisers if you will be doing a multi GPU setup.

Investing bitcoin or altcoin is good, as long as we always get an update of the progress. Investing in short term (two months) is better to invest in altcoin. In addition we can get  cheaper prices for altoins, and then the price can  grow higher.

No. I dont think cryptocurrency will make real money disappear. Maybe in the future , in next 100 years but it is not going to happen very soon. Just think that real money are used since year 500. Every single person use money every second/minute/hours etc. It is going to be impossible to make real money disappear in a few years. Also a lot of people dont even know what is that GOOGLE. How do you expect them to use something that they never heard about . I do think real money can be replaced but not very soon..

Its pretty good and cool but few will notice it.

You need to act in the most compliant way. Build a strong community with strong trust with your potential investors. I do believe it will help you to gain success.
