Dropped the price on 5850... added prices I'm looking for on 6970 and 5970... Prices are OBO

Never run my cards stock.... The 5850 can run 1.000 volts at 850mhz core 600mhz memory easy... pushing 330mh/s... You could get much more out of it if you pushed it harder.

Bump. Had some interest but no offers. Pm or post here if you want one of these.
I don't know exactly what I wanted for the 6970 or the 5970 but I'd take $85 OBO in btc for the 5850 shipped.

Hey guys... Have some cards laying around that I need to get rid of.
5850 - Diamond reference. - $85 $80 shipped. 6970 - sapphire reference. - $140 shipped. 5970 - reference. - $260 shipped.
All of these cards have been reflowed by myself using a heat gun on the core only. I have tested each card in both video games (battlefield 3) and mining bitcoins and they work flawlessly. They also run at 1.000 volts with relatively high clocks and good hash rates.
I would like to sell them quickly so they have to be gone by next friday... October 26th.
All offers appreciated...
Thanks

Bump... I can pay ebay prices now that they are falling in bitcoins for 6870s, 6950/6970s... and up.
Thanks,

They do have electrolytic caps... Really not trying to hate on this though.... I just think there are better ways of doing it, so why bake them? ***rant off ***
|
|
|
I guess if it works it works... Reflow ovens are very precise instruments however and I just don't think you can get the right amount of control over the heat in your whirlpool stove. When the cards are originally "baked" at the factory not all of the components are present... Only certain components are soldered in a reflow oven... Anyway. Glad it worked for you. Just tell people you reflowed them in the oven before you sell them .
|
|
|
You should never bake cards in the oven... That often times is a very temparary fix...
You run the risc of damaging other components and often time only fix it by warping the board which never lasts.
Find someone with a heatgun/reflow station who has reflowed cards several times or better yet... someone with an IR station.
Good luck... hope it lasts a while.
Not trying to hate, but I wouldn't buy a card I knew was baked.

I would go up to $200 for an xfx 5970... or 50 for an xfx 5830... I'm not however going to pay ebay prices and I also think it reflects recent price drops as we get closer to asics launching. I also will consider what someone is looking to get.
I put the list up as a bare minimum of what I'd buy the cards for and it kinda reflects my interest in certain cards... I'm less interested in 5800 series because they lack resale value. I want to help people out by taking cards off there hands. But I don't want to lose money when I sell them in a month either. If you havn't noticed... the number of people buying has dropped off while the number selling has increased... Supply and demand in economics would tell us that leads to a buyers market and falling prices.
Please don't take the list as an insult though.

Wanted to post a list of prices I'd pay in bitcoins for fully working cards.
These are minimum prices... Reference Powercolor or other crappy brand prices... For a beefier cooler on the card or better brand I'd be willing to pay more.
5830 - 2btc 5850 - 4btc 5870 - 5btc 5970 - 10btc
6850 - 3btc 6870 - 3.5btc 6950 - 5.5btc 6970 - 7btc 6990 - 12btc
All obo as well.
And also... Bump on broken cards!

Yup... The spectrum I was going for with these is more suitable for saltwater tanks... i.e. coral growth. But you may be able to use one of these for a planted fresh water aquarium... Usually I think you'd do 2 to 1, white to blue LEDs.
|
|
|
Oh yeah, optics standard are 20 degrees so they are spot lights... I can change out for 60 degrees if you prefer.

Hey guys,
Recently Purchased a couple of chinese 21 watt e27 light bulbs with Intention of popping out several of the white LEDs on them and replacing with 450nm royal blue leds and 420nm actinic leds.
I was planning on doing 3 warm white leds 3 royal blue 450nm leds and 1 actinic 420nm led per light bulb.
If anyone is interested I could sell one shipped for 6 bitcoins.
Will also do a different ratio of royal blues to whites.
If someone wants a bulb order of 5 or more I will knock off 20%...
Thanks,
