90  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Need Avalon setup HELP [1 BTC] on: July 24, 2013, 01:22:29 AM
Your WR703n doesn't have an internet connection at this moment.

This segment is copied from bitcoin.it. Please follow this step according to your local network configuration.

WIFI or Ethernet Cable ?

Avalon shipped with a 9db antenna after connect it to WR703N usually could establish good wireless connection with your WIFI router. But if for some reason you would like to use Ethernet Cable to connect Avalon with your network, please login OpenWrt and configure the LAN port:
Network -> Interfaces -> LAN -> Edit -> Common Configuration -> General Setup
Disable the DHCP on Lan port
Attention: You need to configure it correctly based on your own network enviroment. If anything wrong you might could not access your WR703N any more.

Good luck.

OK im testing your suggestion now

94  Bitcoin / Hardware / Need Avalon setup HELP [1 BTC] on: July 24, 2013, 12:25:25 AM
Hey im a noob and i have no idea what im doing. i plugged avalon in to wall. and Lan cable into avalon then into router.

I changed ip address stuff, then loaded it up. pressed the restart cgminer button thingy after configuring my miner info.

im getting this error in the cgi miner api log

[Firmware Version] => 20130607
cgminer-772b354
luci-d854edc
cgminer-openwrt-packages-44ceab8
Socket connect failed: Connection refused

I am also confused on this step
Make sure WR703N can access Internet, Configure WiFi: Network -> WIFI -> Scan(select your WIFI network) -> Join Network -> WPA passphrase -> Submit -> Save & Apply for connect to WIFI Internet

I do not have wifi. also i have no idea what i am doing. i have windows 7. also i have never used cgminer. but avalon automattaciallicy installed it.

I hereby offer a 0.1 BTC bounty. Help me set this up correctly within 30 mins of posting this and ill up the bounty to 1 BTC

I am willing to use a throw away chat service for faster communication.

HALP!!!!!
95  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: THE TRUTH: Can someone withdraw fiat money from MTGOX? on: July 17, 2013, 02:24:12 PM
well it doesn't really matter if the price on mtgox is artificially high. if other liquid exchanges are coping with a higher price it means that the price is valid. Anyways I requested a CAD withdrawal about 4 days ago ill let you know how it goes.

Just wanted to say that i enjoy using the service offered here and that i can fully vouch for these guys. the 2% is worth the convenience, service is excellent and they are extremely attentive. no waiting for days with these guys, they are very quick.

And as far as i am aware yes this is legal. However understandably if you are a seller, and also a purchaser, i.e buy low sell high, you are supposed to report gains to the taxman. just as you technically are supposed to report any sales of bitcoins generated from mining as income. that responsibility lies on you though.
97  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Options for dealing with Avalon? on: July 17, 2013, 12:44:21 AM
