My bet today on Premier League:

Crystal Palace vs Man United  WIN M. United at quote@1.70
Middlesbrough vs Liverpool     WIN Liverpool at quote@1.65
Sunderland vs Chelsea           WIN   Chelsea at quote@1.45
Tottenham vs Hull City         WIN Tottenham at quote@1.25
Man. City vs Watford           WIN M. City       at quote@1.30
Stoke City vs Southampton UNDER 2,5 goals at quote@1.65
West Brom vs Swansea         OVER 1,5 goals at quote@1.35
West Ham vs Burnley            OVER 1,5 goals at quote@1.25

Parlay at quote@18.40

I only missed 1 match (west ham vs burnley  over 1,5goals).  Undecided
Now if you just used almost all those games and had some of this guy's luck:

You would be gold! Grin

Looks like just the West Ham Burnley game did not win in this stub.
Close and just off by the one game at the tall end. Isn't that how it always is with parlay plays.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: December 14, 2016, 02:58:23 AM
25-2 run by the Timberwolves just before the half ended.
It looked like The Bulls were going to run all over them in the first quarter. They were leading by 23 points at one time.
Now they are only down by 2 points at the half.
This might have them winning this before the match is over.
I just hope for an over on points final result. Sad

Don't lose hope man, this season is full of surprises. But I hope that bulls will get this game or else I am going to miss again the hance to win because I did not bet for their games with Spurs and Heat, that's 2 games win in a row for them. I hope this is going to be a winning streak for them.
Just looking at both games the favorites are behind in them. On top of that with low odds they are losing their games. GSW are down by 2 points and Bulls are also down by 3 points now.
I saw 10+ odds for Pelicans to win this game vs GSW. Lips sealed
5  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 15$ btc for 20$ pp on: December 13, 2016, 06:00:33 PM
I need people with history here  changing  paypal to btc and not people with negative trust yes i will send first but not to negative trust
Beware many scammers out there if you send your bitcoin to them.. better to look for a sr.member above without negative trust..
Also i think it is better to change the rate to 50/50 because you need it.. but you can be still wait for other people to see your offer..
More than likely a scam attempt waiting to happen.
No trades with newbie account should happen here with other newbies because they might just be the same person impersonating to just make it look like they are really doing a trade so they can scam for higher amounts on the next one.
Beware with this trade and maybe TommyBitcoin will do it for you for a 1:1 ratio rate. But good luck with him Tommy. You are experienced here so you know what to look out for. Wink
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 12, 2016, 10:16:15 PM
why not both?

I have already suggest this it is why i agree.
because you have to choose one between saving or investment. although both are good
but I think the investment is better than saving, with a note investment in the trusted sites

But I would prefer and doing both-savings and investments as well but prefer low risk investments.
Anyways, savings is always the money in our pocket and give us more secure feeling than investments which is just money in someone's pocket and is always risky.

yes both are good, can we combine the two ? such as saving and investing?
such that only in the bank,
i havent see in internet :/
You can invest in casino's ,if you can do some analysis about their past years and the profits for them and their investors.
banks are good but diversity is important.
I do not see a combination of saving and investment in the casino,
I ever invest in a gambling site, but my balance even less

I think it would be crowdfunding is what you are referring too.
Investing in a casino to increase their bankroll so they will be able to pay the players that win large amounts.

Don't know if this was a ICO or a alt coin exchange at first.
The name it's self can be misinterpreted the someone who doesn't research it's purpose in the services it actually does provide.
8  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I have a limited PayPal account 43,33$ - 0,02btc on: December 09, 2016, 12:50:27 PM
If you want I can give you 0.015btc for it since it will cost me more to get it unlimited than what is in the account itself.
You will need to send the email account that is linked to it. That is the only way i will buy it and you will need to send that first before I send any btc to you.

Escrow over on Paxful or here on BitcoinTalk.

Forum Escrow Thread:

You have to realize that not everybody here is on paxful and don't trust it.

Better to use a trusted person here that has alot of trades using the method that you are asking to trade with.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: December 04, 2016, 10:34:38 PM
Some have tried to ban bitcoin but it was not to be.
Nothing can stop it's progress that it has achieved so far.

I want to clarify: the time between blocks of 5 minutes, the average block size in the first year, 25-23 coins?, about 105K units a year? This is the right calculations, I assumed that in the first year will produce around 4.7 million coins. That is, the financing of the project will be transferred to 470 thousand coins in the first year? (10%). Just want to understand everything before starting. It's very much like a full line of numbers bitcoin. Okay, the calculation roughly correct? Just earlier I was thinking that the blocks in the first year will be about 9-10 coins.

If you have a look at our previous post about the subsidy system

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1290358.msg13412287#msg13412287

you can see how this works out in detail.  For clarity, I'm reproducing the figures here:

  • The per block subsidy starts at approximately 31.19 coins and decreases by a factor of 100/101 every 6,144 blocks, approximately 21.33 days assuming 5 minutes per block.
  • The total number of coins by the end of year 1 is approximately 4.7M, with 1.68M coming from the premine and 3.02M coming from PoW, PoS and dev org subsidies.
  • The dev org will get approximately 302K coins over the first year, most of which will be spent on an ongoing basis on development of the software.

So we're looking at 15% decrease in inflation per year.

And 50% every 4 years. So I guess its modeled to be similar to Bitcoin.

This means that eventually block subsidy will approach zero. There will still be security from PoS but they'll still rely on transaction fees.

It's interesting that unlike a regular PoS coin, the interest isn't indefinite.

Signed up for the airdrop! Some background, I was interested in MC2 PoS+PoW way back. Really glad ingsoc messaged me that the project is finally a reality.

Also could someone post the Hero member signature data in a pastebin?

My mouse has some issues and I can't copy and past the whole thing.

@dbt1033

Does high hashoutput per watt really have an effect on security? I thought because of difficulty, it wouldn't matter.
