Thank you,

I will start testing with next test and 2.9.4
142  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overc monit fanspd RPC stratum linux/windows/osx/mip/r-pi 2.9.4 on: November 22, 2012, 01:01:06 AM
Is it possible to implement/integrate stratum direct for solo mining. Or write/rewrite the proxy to launch with cgminer?

I know how to borrow stratum or longpoll, but I do not prefer to.

Windows

Wondering if it is possible. Thank you

I propose the following, see what people think.

People in the first batch are going to be discussing hooking them up, tech support.

A irc channel just for tech support first batch.  Set it up now, get people invited - developer, software, pre order customers.

This way all the discussion related to when we get them will be moderated and controlled. We will also be able to help each other better this way. I am only talking about this being active during early release times, not permanent

I am new to irc, but someone besides tom should be able to do this and we get a invite code somehow.

Thoughts?

It is really east to do, I promise.

I am sure you know this, but dummy text is still up. I took lorem ipsum in college so I can read it just fine.

I can only tell you a common sense approach. That is too much stuff. Get another power supply and use both. I does not have to be expensive or even new.
147  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICs any proof they are coming for ANY of the companies? on: November 02, 2012, 01:17:38 AM
As long as you do not open the box all is well.

Next thing you know people are going to be screaming asic companies are poisoning cats.

Want to thank Tom.

The magnetic sticker was in the shipment from Casacius.

mcmelectronics

or

element14

I got both of mine within a week

I ordered from Tom because he answered the phone.  I wanted to talk to a person, not a email.

The modminer i won is awesome.

It seems that Tom ignores any pm and mails from unwanted customers.
Wrote from different mailboxes about asic delivery, and nothing...
good job... continue ignoring people  Angry

Tom has posted on here many times to call him. He does answer the phone, sometimes not the first time.  He does answer, and he will talk to you about whatever your questions are.

I like your orange and green roll around chair in the bASIC assembly area. Is it comfortable soldering in it?

On a serious note it looks really nice, thank you for the update

When I solomine

windows 64
bfgminer 2.9.0
bitcoin 0.7.1

2 different rigs each running the client

command line used
bfgminer.exe -o localhost:8332 -u x -p x --coinbase-addr 1myaddress
same for the machine with mmq except command line contains   -S modminer:\\.\COM4

It does not start working on a new block, it says, for example, started [01:30:20] and does not ever change blocks.

block:xxxx  stays the same also

I let it run for a couple hours on each machine
154  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 27, 2012, 02:43:46 AM
Wow, this sounds terrific. Thanks for the update

The modminer is beautiful. I sit right next to it, no heat and almost no noise. Worked really easy on windows cause I am awesome at clicking exe

Compared to gpu's, lol. I might as well keep some water and a towel in the room with the gpus and take a steam
155  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: High Efficiency FPGA & ASIC Bitcoin Mining Devices https://BTCFPGA.com on: October 27, 2012, 12:37:15 AM
I got my MMQ also today. Thank you Tom,  I appreciate it.

Very nice piece of hardware. Looks just as nice in person as in the photos.

OMG! bitinstant back up!!

Everyone run!

His u is going to be very close to zero solo mining

set solo mining and use debug and watch

maybe mine a solo block and see what happens

borrowing longpoll helps when blocks change and you end up submitting work to the pool while it is loading a new blocktemplate faster than if you didn't borrow longpoll

Substrata, am I basically right
158  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner: modular FPGA/GPU, overclk/fans, GBT, RPC, Linux/PPA/Windows 2.8.2 on: October 24, 2012, 03:07:24 PM
He is really mining at 25 mh, the 2.9 is the accept rate from the backup pool he "borrowed" longpoll from. At least this is what I see
159  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner: modular FPGA/GPU, overclk/fans, GBT, RPC, Linux/PPA/Windows 2.8.2 on: October 23, 2012, 10:23:46 PM
It is working, with showing lp active and (getblocktemplate) showing up -I will report back if I have any problems with crashing

card one is showing a little slower
2,3,4 are a little faster

(probably a setting I need to adjust)

Ok,  you convinced me,  53 now using the core skin.  The blue quote is annoying, and the stars take a little getting used to.
