Fellow LabRatonians,

Updated analysis spreadsheet for 11/23/13 report:

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bw3222MuvkMCMmI0TFFFNXUybUk&usp=sharing

Summary:

1. DivROI = 10.76% to date   <---- this is based on 0.15 BTC/share price
2. Current total has MH/sh = 93.5   <---- we get 75% of this (please note that this does not account for bad luck)
3. Current total GH/s = 5,185.92 <---- this is a time averaged, no variance, rough value (we get 75% of this)
4. The Difficulty projections are based on http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty
5. $/BTC is based on blockchain.info chart data.
6. 08/24/13 GH/s hash rate jump was not real, rather based on accidently paying double dividends.
7. DivROI shown is cumulative week to week.

Where are you located and do you know total electricity consumption for the lot?  I'd be willing to do option B in Ohio I'm just under or about .10 per kWh here.....

Yes, it is about 0.10/kWh here too. Each 700 khps would require about 850W power supply
(just to be safe).

It is profitable.

I'm in Southern MO.

=========== 26/NOV/13 UPDATE ==============================================================
Fellow miners,

I have come to a decision. First of all, thanks to everyone who put in their offering. This took time and attention and with the crazy
price of bitcoin right now, that was no small feat. I am finding it difficult just to communicate in complete sentences right now without
glancing at the gox screen. (Oh, to have been an early adopter...)

I am going with a gentleman sporting free electricity, a complete data center grade set up, located in North America, and has even
purchased PCIe riser cables from me in the past! Frankly, it made the whole decision process somewhat easy.

I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving (even if you don't live in the US). It has been an amazing year in the crypto community!

All the best,

Rusty

Folks,

I have done well with my GPU mining in 2012/early 2013. I have not had time to
keep them running due to ASICs and other BTC related activities.

I have approximately 12,400 KHps in GPUs (not sure all are working). I honestly
don't have time to fool with them. Some need reflowed, most are just fine.

I have mobos, ram, hdds, gpus, psus. They are all caseless.

The original purchase price for all these items was over $10K.

Option A: Purchase everything for $5K worth of BTC/LTC.
Option B: I ship all this stuff to you, you mess with it, get it running, pay the
electricity, and split net mining profits with you (after electricity)
50/50. This until they are no longer profitable to run.

Litecoin is over $9/each right now.

Anyone exercising Option B will need to give personal identification and/or have
an impeccable trust rating for consideration.

All this equipment is sitting here languishing away. This is a serious offer. I am
heavily interested in finding someone in the midwest USA so that this stuff is
not too expensive to ship.

Well, after 2 days of trading signals, I can say that I am very happy with the purchase. So far it has
kept me out of at least one bad trading decision. I can tell you that these guys are for real. This is what
they do for a living. Their CS has been exemplary thus far. By the way, avoiding that one bad trading
decision paid for the 6 month subscription.

I guess we'll see how it continues to perform over these next 6 months. If anyone has questions on
performance, please PM me. These posts are starting to sound a bit fan boyish. Not generally my style.

Best of luck to all of you!
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitcoinCrystalballTrader - Bitcoin Trading Predictive Analytics on: November 20, 2013, 11:21:59 PM
I just got the first trading signal email at 05:21PM EST. It is a full page of information
complete with charts, quantitative insight analysis, and technical trading information.
It might not work in actual trading, but it is a real system.

I got another trading signal at 05:41PM EST. The first signal was the 30 minute chart. This
one was the 1 hour chart. Same trade signal, summary analysis, charts, quant analysis, and
top news stories. They are also possibly going to add social sentiment and news sentiment.
(That last sentence was a statement they made during a customer support ticket conversation.)

I have asked for trading signals over the last 2 weeks to do some back testing. We shall see if
they produce such information.

FYI, had I traded on the 30 minute signal, I'd be up 3.58% as of this minute.

They use MTGOX market data for their signal timing because (in their words) "...it has the most
volume and the least intrabar volatility..." That works good for me because I trade there.

I'm done for now. I'll let you know over the next few days how the trading signals are going.
At the very least, you should know that these guys are not scammers. Again, I say that their
system may not work, but that is an entirely different issue. Good luck folks! Build your BTC
holdings!

Okay, I volunteered myself as the guinea pig. I got a 6 month subscription to the daytrading signals.
I'll post back here with results. So far they have answered my support ticket with 17 minutes of my
first message.

Edit: I won't be giving away signals as that would likely breach the licensing agreement, but I will tell
you whether they are legit or not.

Just got second support ticket to set up account in 5 minutes after my last response. Mind you, I've
already paid my money.

Am getting set up on trading signals now. I have not found out about the type, scope, or nature of
these trading signals. All I've been asked thus far is my email address. It is unknown whether they
will be automating the trading against a specific exchange or just having me do it manually.

One concern is that they remain personally unidentified. Thus, they can hide behind their anonymity
with little recourse. Even their support tickets do not use names, only "Customer Support Team". In
my opinion, any company that uses the word "team" really means "me and the wife"... Wink

Damn, you paid at least $285 or up to $450? Good luck man..

One victim is all they need.

Thanks, the information I am getting thus far does not smell of bs. Now, their trading system may
not perform well, but I don't think it is just fluff. The price above will be insignificant if this system
turns out to perform even marginally well. I am using it to simply increase BTC holdings. I'll be using
10 BTC to begin working the system with. If it yields better than 7% gain in 6 months, it will break
even.

You have too low of trust, you could be a shill for them.

Gweedo, you are absolutely right. You have no idea who I am. Therefore, read my reports for
fun or don't. Your call.

LRMers One and All,

I have been running an analysis spreadsheet for some time. It has served me well, but I figured I'd
share with everyone to see if it passes your scrutiny. I have used it (mostly) to figure out how much
hash rate LRM is (on average) providing each week and to figure out what dividend ROI we had seen
to date. Here is the share folder. I will be updating this on a fairly regular basis, so keep the share
folder URL if you find it useful.

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0Bw3222MuvkMCMmI0TFFFNXUybUk&usp=sharing

Summary:

1. DivROI = 10.49% to date   <---- this is based on 0.15 BTC/share price
2. Current total has MH/sh = 141.5   <---- we get 75% of this
3. Current total GH/s = 7,850.89 <---- this is a time averaged, no variance, rough value (we get 75% of this)
4. The Difficulty projections are based on http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty and I've projected 20% per period
into the future. This will be adjusted as necessary as the future unfolds.
5. $/BTC is based on blockchain.info chart data.
6. 08/24/13 GH/s hash rate jump was not real, rather based on accidently paying double dividends.
7. DivROI shown is cumulative week to week.

Input, suggestions, and corrections welcomed.

Rusty

Bitmitty, was it you that said you traded using some kind of trading bot?

I was thinking about getting one(butterbot) but never bought it.

I don't want to trash talk Butter-bot. I'll simply state that the profit calculations it is touting
on its website is not BTC profit, but USD profit. In other words, it does not actively compare
what a buy and hold BTC strategy would produce given the same set of back test conditions.
It simply shows you the fiat profit based on a set of EMA conditions you pick.

At the very least it could be very useful as a fail safe stop loss while you sleep. It is also nice
to use for seeing where the ema's are currently located for any one of the 3 different exchanges
it actively tracks. Great to see if a huge dip takes place and the likelihood of a fast retracement.

I think it is a nice tool, but it isn't going to be a magic trading tool for you since a buy and hold
strategy right now is king. Perhaps when the market enters into a sideways oscillation, it would
probably do great over buy and hold.

Anyway, I bought it and have a 1 year subscription. I am glad to do any type of back testing you
want to try out or whatever. Pablo also offers a free demo period if you want to play with it your-
self.

This is just my opinion. I may be looking at it all wrong. Maybe it is really should be called the
"Best Thing Since Sliced Bread And Butter-Bot"! Wink

Thanks, Rusty

Whats the status on a new location where we can buy/sell shares? I know there's a thread here, but I prefer a website like BitFunder MUCH more (and I'm sure many people with me do)

Any news on this?

I would be one of those people as well.

We need a place to trade.

Kinda disappointing that I may never see the .15 I bought these at again.

I would propose that a trusted member of the community provide a dividend analysis on a weekly
basis to show the cumulative dividend earnings as a percentage of the original bond purchase value.
Last I calculated, we'd received exactly 10% of the 0.15 BTC original price in dividend earnings in the
15 total weeks of this asset's lifespan. We have yet to even begin seeing the large increase in mining
hardware from LRM's Bitfury purchase let alone what 2 weeks of "hardware acquisition mining" will
bring to the table. This asset remains quite promising.
