I am Daniel Dabek, the project founder and all of these previous posts with outrageous accusations are all lies related to being a scammer or money laundering. Those are libelous statements. The only crimes spoken as of late are those of the false statements about me and the unjust inquisition.

I did not flee Serbia, I am an American and I can choose to live wherever I please, that is my right. I visited Serbia many times in the past few months.

And I'm not sure why anyone sees the incentive to waste their time trying to connect me as the husband of Ruja of which I am not.

I have launched a blockchain with an ecommerce platform inside of it: github.com/safex/safexcore

There are people who tried to be malicious in the past and presently are being malicious, they need to seek new outlets for their feelings.

We will continue to build our legitimate businesses and increase the empowerment for others to use SafeX to grow.

SafeX is an accomplishment, and no one will be able to stop it from being so.

Hi Joeycrypto420,

What is your reason to continue making up lies and accusing based on your made up lies?

This is how you got yourself into trouble a little bit ago, why do you feel the need to bring yourself more trouble?

There is a court order against the person who is making these accusations.

https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/37961942/SAFEX_FOUNDATION,_INC_et_al_v_SAFETH,_LTD_et_al

They are only skewing information to harm and distort the truth knowing very well what is true.

This is not correct behavior, no the founder is not hiding from anywhere

Here he is skateboarding, on an alternate account since he was attacked maliciously, there is no safexscam, the only scam is the person who tried to steal it from the founder, and pass it off as his own. The only scam is the false derogatory information being smeared about the founder, nothing else.

It is easy to take things out of context the way you are putting them. Please go away, and stop harassing people who are trying to get things done.

Probably you are joeycrypto or part of, and instead of leave peace and allow to complete. You bring on this disgusting character for years, all because they wouldn't hire you for marketing. So what did you do, bring dismarketing?

You should be ashamed, and it is a crime to do what you are doing.

Safexcore: The Blockchain Marketplace Protocol
Last week on Wednesday we released testnet 6.3 as mentioned in the last Monday's update. After a few days we recognized an additional edge case and promptly addressed the inconsistency.

This morning Igor published an updated testnet to version 6.4.

In this update we have included:
An error came up in the feedback database where if the same content of feedback was stored for the same offer it would create a break in the consensus system. This has been now corrected to allow the proper storage and sorting.

In addition to addressing the above issue, Igor also refactored the database when storing advanced transactions. Previously, the index of advanced outputs was not properly stored and now this is updated. The original implementation was generic, and did not check for the contents of specific outputs. This component has been improved to specifically check for the corresponding transaction output. This is improves the stability and reliability of nodes when verifying transactions and including them in blocks.

In cases where many of the same transaction are sent to the blockchain related to the marketplace the nodes may get confused as to which transaction to include and how to discern between them. Now the nodes should work flawlessly with the improvement to the database and the interpretation of data.

As an additional measure the wallet will wait for a certain amount of blocks before allow additional transactions. This will help nodes maintain consensus without transactions getting ahead of any potential orphan blocks, that may occur more frequently on blockchains that are growing constantly in hashrate and usage.

Note: the Safex Cash mining hashrate has increased 30% over the past week.

Here you can download the 6.4 testnet binaries:
https://github.com/safex/safexcore/releases/tag/0.0.6.4

TWM Wallet | API
During the last week Daniel worked on the API aspect of the marketplace application. In order to receive messages, verify, and provide actions to marketplace users the TWM API will store and serve this data. Of course all actions are signed cryptographically and verified before updating the database.

First off, is the account registration route. You can freely register with the blockchain, but then the API can sweep that information from the blockchain, and provide a more flexible rendering of the information into a website interface or a wallet.

The API enables administrative curation as well, which you will be able to clone and run your own instance, only your own user account, and immediately have a personal website for your shop.

This is one example of what will be possible with this API.

Immediate tasks handled during the past week were related to registering a PGP Key with the API so that we will be able to store encrypted messages. During the time when you register your account you could generate a PGP Key and store the finger print in your description. The actual key gets stored in your wallet, and also submitted to TWM API. Now, you will be able to securely and verfiably communicate with other merchants on the marketplace.

To further this, tasks include aligning message management on a per offer per purchase basis, and the ability to enable or disable open direct contact for sellers. In most cases you only want to receive a shipping address, yet with a system like this it will be easy to open up a direct contact to figure out preference, or inquire on a product.

The most recent build of the TWM Wallet for testnet that includes a list of items from the blockchain is available here:
https://github.com/safex/twmwallet/releases/tag/0.0.4-list-offers

Safex Bitcoin Wallet Interrupted
On April 23, a backward incompatible change came into play on the omni node that is a part of the Safex Bitcoin/Migration Wallet. In response we had to update the node and rescan the blockchain which took a few days due to the limitation of the omni node sync system.

Service is now restored, and it is a good time to take the opportunity to mention, that we have planned a standalone bitcoin wallet by removing the omni elements so that you can continue to use the bitcoin side of it from the same wallet file. We will be able to discontinue support on the omni node. A few months from now.

Thank you for tuning in this week, we look forward to bringing more good news for you next week!

Sincerely,
The Safex Development Community

That miner software is in a early beta testing phase so it is likely to not work in many cases. It is something we are not yet able to wrap up since we have our resources focused on the marketplace app.

Testnet 2 - RandomX Mining Algorithm Testing
New Mining Algorithm Update Testnet on Block 308450

This is a TestNet fork to test the new mining algorithm in the wild.

During the last week Igor and Edoardo merged the RandomX mining algorithm update to the testnet branch. This update introduces a hard fork of the mining algorithm that is currently in place to a new one that is utilizes resources in a way that CPUs become more advantaged than the GPU hardware.

It is known that GPU centric mining algorithms are able to be programmed into FPGA devices and perform exceptionally better when the costs are considered. This makes clever hardware engineers with capital capable of dominating the network and acquiring the lowest price Safex Cash than in the case of ordinary graphic card miners.

In this patch the shift goes towards empowering the CPU where the GPU is still capable of competing however, the cost of setting up FPGA to accelerate mining without accelerating cost is eliminated.

Using this new mining method the distribution of coin can go more horizontally since ordinary household computers can mine visible amounts over time, whereas previously this was interrupted by the specialized GPU engineering to capture Safex Cash.

Luckily the supply of Safex Cash could not centralize since the adoption of the S-Curve distribution schedule which means that over time we distribute rather than in the case of nearly all coins on the market, these situations of clever engineering would result in a massive intake of the coin supply. We mitigated this, and of course in the future if there are some new clever capabilities emerging we will update the algorithm accordingly.

You can download the testnet binaries that include the RandomX mining update here:
https://github.com/safex/safexcore/releases/tag/0.0.2-testnet-randomx

The hardfork on the testnet is scheduled on block 308450 which is Tuesday November 19th, 2019 sometime around 5:00pm Central European Standard Time. This is called v5 hardfork on the testnet.

Please also remember if you try this software, you must run it with the --testnet flag on both the cli wallet and the safexd in order to participate properly.

*the windows compiled binaries will be uploaded as soon as available, be sure to look out for them within the next 24 hours

New Testnet Explorer
Last week we also deployed the updated block explorer to the testnet. This new explorer now includes the new transaction types like create account and it is set up to repeat the pattern with the future transactions types such as list offer and purchase offer.

The link to view the testnet in action is here: http://testexplorer.safex.io 9

Here is a screenshot of one of the transactions included in a block that contains the create account method inside.
Marketplace
During the past week all of the code from the various branches were merged into develop. There is a significant amount of development that went into setting up the marketplace system. These are now in progress to be consolidated and tested in the whole picture. There are ~6 months worth of development that was included in this merger.

A merger of this size requires many internal testing to address any regression that pop up from merging several features to the one unified branch. This been started and will continue through this week and it will likely take until next week to have a fully integrated merger.

You can see a scroll through the update to the develop branch in a recent tweet as soon as that update was put through.

this is becoming quite the update... https://t.co/FEUz17fo5O
11:46 PM - 14 Nov 2019  62  13
From this week we will continue with the Purchase Flow with a goal of bringing it the development phase of integrating the feature into the wallet to be capable of allowing users to start test purchases. Already we have implemented the core tests that prove that the system under the hood is working as it should be. Now we work our way up the stack to your fingertips.

Sails
Last week we had our team from Serbia meet up with our team in Italy to work hand in hand on the Safex development. Besides merging the RandomX update discussed above, we managed to implement the account creation route into the gorpc project.

This was a massive step because this established the pattern we need to implement the offer listing and purchasing flows among all the other new special transactions we have introduced and will continue to introduce such as price peg. We’re all glad to have been able to mark this off our checklist as it was a major milestone to reach.

We’ve continued to work on optimizations on the gosafex repository where we reduced from the ~2 hours sync time down to ~45 minutes sync time. We are now in a range that is comfortable for people to use in a desktop environment.

Regarding the GUI development, we had taken time also to rethink parts of the flow of the wallet usage and we are in progress implementing those new paths for a more user friendly experience.

Furthermore, the project dependencies were all fully updated to the latest versions and we believe that this may have had a connection with why some users were not working on Windows or OSX. The version match to the latest of all packages also meant that some features needed to develop the GUI were broken so they had to be addressed. Thankfully the GUI production is on track since these updates were handled.

Additionally, we have discussed plans for the mobile wallet implementation and the few approaches that we can take to satisfy the resource requirements for users to sync their balances. While there is no silver bullet between performance, resource utilization, and privacy; however, we have ideas on what we can do to make a practical and secure solution to participate in this ecosystem from mobiles and the like.

Migration
The last migration script run concluded on November 15th, and the next one will be conducted Today, and each day from November 23rd until the 30th.

If you still have Safe Exchange Coins, you must download the migration wallet, and convert them to Safex Tokens before November 30th, 2019. This is less than two weeks away. Please remind your neighbor to be sure that they are aware of this event concluding in case they are still holding Safe Exchange Coins in the Bitcoin Blockchain.

The latest Wallet release for Migration are here:

/https://github.com/safex/safex_wallet/releases/tag/0.0.8 8

This version also includes additional safe guards to ensure that your safex address is set correctly in the event of inconsistent internet connectivity.

Forum Emailer Bug
The third party we use for the forum emails had changed plans so it limited us to 100 emails per month. We have since replaced this emailer that will allow us to continue operating as previous. Due to this for the past week new registrations were not working since the confirmation email did not make it to the user.

This is all now patched up and fixed. You can now register freely as before.

Sincerely,
The Safex Development Community

**Marketplace Testnet Part 1**
On Thursday Igor made a hard stop and prepared the first testnet featuring the marketplace elements. The first feature included on the deck is the account registration. With this feature, people are able to create `safex accounts` which contains a public key which is used throughout the application level of the marketplace part of the blockchain, and a description.

>The testnet release binaries and description can be found at this github link

Awesomely, @Astralite participated and took the indication directly and created an ad hoc schema for the description field of the account. Essentially, you are allowed to store anything you want in the description field, however, we intend to provide a standardized format so that all marketplace interpreting websites conform to some kind of logical and reasonable system that we can all quickly recognize information stored about a seller account.

So bravo to @Astralite for taking the initiative and demonstrating how you can store a mass of data in the description field, and parse it out neatly on a GUI.

On the left side `Raw` is what you can store in the blockchain, and on the right side `Parsed` is an example of the start of what the data would look like on a GUI.

We will provide a standard, yet anyone can participate and give their input. This is the beautiful magic of the open source software community. :sunrise:

**Marketplace**
Last week Igor continued with the development of the safex purchase flow. This is the process of buying a `safex offer` which is something that a `safex account` is able to put into the blockchain for all to purchase. He merged core tests to the marketplace development branch and should be starting on merging the purchase into the cli this week.

Following purchase we will need to add the feedback path. So, once you purchased something, you will then be able to leave feedback on that item and that seller.

The price peg feature is last on the list in the safexcore, though you will be able to already sell without a price peg by hard setting the sfx price and it will be possible to update the listing price after the product has been listed, the price peg would serve to handle the exchange rate verifiable in closest to real time.

We are planning to do another hard stop next week with the next set of features to test. Those features should include at least listing offers, and we hope it will include the purchase flow.

**Sails**
Last week was a deep overhaul of the go rpc. Daniel and Edoardo have been going through all cases of the application to get it ready for mainnet release. This included optimizing the synchronization methods to reduce the time that it takes to download blocks from the network and scan them for transactions you own.

The privacy aspect of Safex is accomplished because only you can generate a private key for a transaction that was sent to you. So like everyone no one knows what belongs to anyone, unless you try to unlock it. So the program downloads the block, scans it with your key and checks if any of those transactions come up positive for you.

That being said, we must download the whole chain and scan every transaction until the top to make sure that the application has recorded every transaction that belongs to its user. This is a pretty immense scan. So far we have reduced the sync time from what was 30 hours to ~2 hours. Edoardo has additional ideas to implement to further reduce the sync time. We have implemented a top block rescan, so a new wallet that for sure has no transactions to retrieve can just start from the top and avoid a total rescan initially.

Finally, we have addressed many cases of crashing, because we have done extensive tests inducing a crash of the module. So far all of the usual usage paths are addressed and it does not crash any longer unexpectedly when under typical usage such as in the GUI application. This is all great news, and it is shaping up.

**Mining Algorithm Update**
Last week we discovered a minor bug in our merge of the mining algorithm that we have scheduled to address in this week.

In the previous update we mentioned two parameters we must set for the update: the block to start it on, and the difficulty target. We did not manage to fit this in due to the bug discovery and being already heavily invested in the gosafex refactoring.
Quote from: dandabek, post:1, topic:6516
Last week we’ve viewed several benchmarks to help us determine the ideal difficulty adjustment to make. So for the answer to the second parameter is pretty well defined so far, though we will post a verdict that we can work with likely in the next update.

However, we do expect the mining algorithm to be updated this month, and we will continue to keep the community up to date on its progress.

**Migration**
Remember the migration will take place tomorrow: November 5. The next one will be on November 10th. The last one on November 30.
Please download the `Sails Wallet v7` https://safex.io/downloads and migrate before the cut off date.

**Sincerely,**
**The Safex Development Community**

So far the migration of the crowdsale coin to the safex blockchain is running smoothly and everyday more coins are making their way over.

so far its more than 20% of the coins have been migrated.

Further, the GUI wallet for safex cash and tokens is on the way. The wallet will also be integrated to the 1 click miner.

Our main concerns now are to bring more people to get into mining again.

There are so many people with rigs who have shut off; for example Ethereum, Zcash, and other GPU mineable coins.

^^ this point is the most significant because when new PoW coin is turned on, speculative mining suggests you should be very active even if there is no immediate gains due to price or if there is fluctuation of results. In the net long run you will benefit and gain. So it is essential to participate and bring the support the coins need to reach viable usage.

Unlike for example zcash, which is useless -> safex provides a use case: it's marketplace it is a simple concept yet it is changing the face of crypto. Yet so many of us are disillusioned because maybe you bought an ico or maybe you got into mining some other coins at the peak. The game is not over. And for SAFEX it is an early beginning. There are activities to participate in besides just HODL>

I am just saying in my "hypi" statements about the team is that imo we have what is necessary to keep things together and moving forward.

Ideally we can expand the team into another timezone to have more frequent udpates; and I think about those applications that make a huge difference like
mobile wallets, and mobile versions of things found on the desktop; as well as organizing documentation about all of our production.

We are striving in marketing space to bring online some killer products to get the full circle of the currency flowing; and with that we can earn more income to support several more developers. That's the goal.

Safex github has 7 active developers; also safex is supported by https://balkaneum.com a third party development company that also contributes to development.

While the official safex team page cites 3 developers and 7 other team members; it does not cite the people who contribute on a regular consistent basis from other companies/individuals.
