Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Transferred BCC to BTC wallet
|
on: November 27, 2017, 06:38:28 PM

The ultimate beginner mistake. I transferred my BCC from Bittrex to my Exodus BTC wallet.. i know...
However.. the transfer is still pending on Bittrex since I haven't confirmed my email (Withdrawal Verification). Did I just lose my BCC? Or do I not confirm my Withdrawal Verification Email?
Edit: Ah yes, you didn't confirm? As I remember right, each withdraw must be confirmed first via email link like on poloniex, before money goes out. So you should be able to cancel the withdrawel. Else: Do you really mean BCC or BCH? (Bitcoin Cash) If you sent BCH, then there is a way to save them. You own your private key on exodus wallet, right? You can simply import you private key to BCH wallet and they should appear.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC expected to be go down

on: November 27, 2017, 06:19:39 PM
|
At beginning of this year, Bitcoin was on 800$ and was already expected to go down. It will not happen for next years. The reason is, that companies, banks, governments and private persons are now aware of the advantages of cryptocurrencies, exspecially Bitcoin. We are just at beginning of its updrive.

Do you need a betatester for your karma-service? I will test and tell you after a week, how I feel and if my karma improved. If there are any bugs on it, you can adjust and make improvements, if needed.

Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinomi App and questions

As preposters already stated, changelly doesn't convert crypto into fiat. I would not recommend coinbase anymore, because there are too many accusations of lost funds. Maybe its only an ID or local problem. Not all countries are supported by coinbase (only USA??). Where you exchange your cryptos the best, depends in your residence. Bitpanda is a good service or you can buy debit cards, exchange here on Bitcointalk or use ATMs, that not only sell BTC but also cashout them. But they are very rare.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is there a wallet to store any coin?
|
on: November 25, 2017, 10:52:11 PM
|
Is that ok to keep the coins in exchanges without transferring to wallet?
p.s I'm small investor
If you don't mind, that your funds can get lost, then you can keep them on exchangers. But I also would recommend wallets or multicoinwallets, where you keep private keys. For example Jaxx, as already suggested or coinomi. The problem to keep your coins on exchangers is, that some like poloniex don't like it, to keep coins on their wallet for a longer time without trading. Another problem is, that exchangers delist coins or sometimes don't update their wallets for coins, if needed or update them late, so that you can't withdraw them. The third problem of holding cryptocurrencies on exchangers is, that you can't be sure, that they quit their services and keep your coins or simply scam you. Not every exchanger quits its service like novaexchange, that informed its users and provides a great service until a long planned end.

Economy / Exchanges / Re: ShapeShift vs Changelly
|
on: November 24, 2017, 07:00:28 AM
|
I do not know much about Changelly, but after what I have heard about it, I have no plans to move away from ShapeShift. I have used ShapeShift many times before and they have been my fastest method of exchanging currencies without a problem. They also have a really nice interface in contrast with Changelly and a better reputation. They are integrated into various other sites and wallets as well, which is always nice to have. For example, the Mist wallet for Ethereum allows for you to buy Ethereum easily.
I agree with that and I'm happy with shapeshift so I don't have any reason to find another. And yeah it supported some wallets like coinomi ( actually it also goes with changelly ) and it went smoothly with it and for the fees for converting coins to coins is totally low and even for transferring to other wallet considering have a fast transaction. Having it with me is a big relief as it never gives me a headache. I want only warn coinomi users to pay high attention dealing with shapeshift. Sometimes it is showing a fair exchange rate and on second step it shows an astronomic fee. So look at each step, what you would pay and what to get. I trapped already in. Maybe it was caused by high transfer fee or their fee. Didn't see that on changelly. Now shapeshift also runs smoothly, but I look twice to get fair exchanges. Changelly also has an aspect, I dislike. I exchanged BTC to an altcoin, that is not listed on many exchangers. Suddenly exchange minimum of that coin went up, shortly after the exchange. Now I can't exchange them back on changelly or I need to buy the same amount to meet the exchange minimum. Knowing the aspects, if which I must care, I am still using both exvhangers.

I don't like services, like the one you linked, who demand ID verifications and don't provide their own addresses. Looked around and didn't find any relevant info on their site about themselves. I devide my funds to several exchangers and only serve ID to an exchanger (BTC/Fiat) of my trust with good own experiences.

Lending is also on Exchangers like poloniex and Bitfinex possible. As I remember minimum is at 0.001 BTC, if they didn't change. Or you just exchange BTC to another coin and lend for example LTC or Doge, so that you have a low minimum.

Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashflare Pricing- What am I missing?
|
on: November 23, 2017, 04:17:58 PM
|
You missed nothing. Hashflare missed to add all costs to info site, so that customers get trapped. There are not only maintance fees, but also electricity costs, that vary from pool to pool, whyever. In the last months, before Hashflare anounced, shortening lifetime contracts, there was even a ROI of 6 months. But most of the time it was on 22 months. Now they have a ridiculous withdraw minimum, that most of customers will never reach. So, forget hashflare. I would categorize it as scam.

I use both, because their prices vary from coin to coin and the time. In many cases shapeshift is cheaper now and support is working good. Changally offers a cheaper fee and quick transactions.

Seems, that they are trying the same coup as J P Morgan did. Dev warned people of Bitcoin bubble and we know the result. So, just let pass that fake predictions and statements. But they are not aware, that they spread out the possibility to invest to Bitcoin to people, who weren't involved yet.

I have some of logirethem tokens show into my wallet eitherscan.in.so how can i trade them?
Logirethem? Never heard about them. But generelly you can trade your tokens, as soon they are listed on exvhangers. So you can send them from your wallet to deposit address and simply sell/trade them. If your are lucky, they are already listed on coinmarketcap, that shows all markets, where you can trade your coins.

Although I had only good experiences with coinbase, I wouldn't recommend their exchange/wallet. Use a wallet, that you own. Means, you have addresses and private keys. What exchanger you could use best, depends on your country and kind of exchange. For exchangung cryptocurrencies, you can choose for example bitfinex, changelly or cryptopia. If you want to exchange to fiat, you could choose Kraken, Bitpanda or exchange here in forum with trustable members.
