1  Local / India / Re: Reliance Jio plans to launch its own Cryptocurrency 'JioCoin' on: January 16, 2018, 02:20:18 PM
Most probably shitcoin

well ICO is live but not a single white paper on business project or funds use, no official fbk / telegram whatever page, no information regarding un-allocated tokens, and all of that with 1 jiocoin at 10$ each? how the indian could buy this?

Did I missed some information in my search?
Maybe I did not google well then sorry, because for the moment I don't know what to think about this 2 billions $ project presented with only 5 pictures...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Radix - Tempo Whitepaper on: September 28, 2017, 09:44:08 AM
how will distribution take place? ico?

 ico?
afaik:
- No ICO planned, as everybody will be able to get some RDX for some of its crypto once launched.
- Early backers from previous private internal rounds will just have a bonus factor.

distribution?
afaik:
Elastic supply model and fees for the running nodes activities, managed by the decentralized Radix client.

I think it will be developped in future WP regarding client / economy etc.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 07, 2016, 09:34:29 AM
How to prevent somebody from buying a lot of BTC's just before snapshot of bitcoin blockchain and then sell back the BTC to just keep the BYTE in his account.

It's absolutely possible, what's wrong with it?
thank you for the idea.
I don't even need to buy some bitcoin, just move some of my stack in a new address then put them back away.

Days are very frenetic, so we have made a serious grammatical error.

After careful study we have verified that this will no affect on the relase of the GUI.

In the night we have also reprogrammed the timer, it has been hard work but we managed professionally.(thanks Cfb for yor support.)

http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/christmas?iso=20160406T060606&p0=776&msg=IOTA+GUI+Relases&font=cursive

the choice of the new Christmas theme is not accidental, but it comes from a careful study of marketing.

we also changed the relases party from Nuova Dheli to Dubai.

Enjoy!

Lol it still says on the main page "IOTA GUI Relases" X) I like the christmas spirit!

Stop sending mails to IoT Directory

While the generic intro mail to IOTA is a good one for opening convo around IOTA, it is proving detrimental. I have received several complaints from companies that have been bombarded with numerous IOTA mails about the same thing, making us look extremely unprofessional. So I call for a complete cease to cold call mails to prevent further damage to the IOTA brand.

This is exactly why it would have been smart to administrate a referential listing with all companies already contacted.
Now this is a smog of spams...  Undecided

We have for a long time the software that works very stable. The "beautiful" comfortable GUI comes later. But back end runs properly. My server is very stable. No problem at all.
This shows of course that any reputable company are not so much interested in the surface but for the useful revolutionary properties.

That is why we should push IOTA to the IoT related companies as hard as we can right now to build a ecosystem and be part of IoT ecosystem as well in real business world before other people start to copy and clone IOTA. All the IoT companies in the real world need is the back end software and API which we already have and they have the resources to develop applications and integrate IOTA.

We have prepared a list of IoT companies and a generic introductory letter for you to introduce IOTA to the some IoT companies. There are hundreds of IoT companies out there. If we can do 5 companies (random pick) per person we can reach out to hundreds of companies. Maybe your introcution will lead to a partnership between IOTA and a IoT company. Here is the list and the letter - http://forum.iotatoken.com/t/a-generic-iota-introductory-letter/56. All you need to do is to click a link to a company from the IoT directory and find out its contact email and copy/paste the introductory letter in your email and hit send.

Which company where contacted? (to avoid spam) Do we have a tracking list? Is Sigfox in the loop ? (100 Million cap.) Even Airbus has its IoT incubator, and there is a "Connected Camp" in the "IOT Valley" near Toulouse FR. Thank you for any information.
For more information: www.leconnected.camp, www.iot-valley.fr

I am very skeptical about the protocol of iota. CIYAM says that IOTA is not written very clean.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1398969.msg14219113#msg14219113

I think there are a high risk that IOTA does not work. Maybe Microsoft has not even looked at the code.

Here are software developers who can say more about the java code of iota?

Thank you

CIYAM is a well know troll hahaha X'-)

what stops u using the pw after Genesis?

Good question child_harold!

Until IOTA client is available the funds stays in genesis as nobody can move them from one account to another.
As soon as client is available you can use the password to transfert the funds into your own wallet and leave the genesis account empty.
And as stated in 4) I stay available to help you in this step if you want to be sure (and you will).
So everybody win,
You with a legitimate genesis IOTA account you can transfert into any other account in the world.
Me with 6 bitcoins.

This is a very bad scam temptative, come on you came make some effort and make it looks less obvious...

I don't know, this is my first sell.
It is not as easy as on ebay.
Maybe you have good tips how to sell a full account please? :/
Especially when no client is available at the moment!

I got 100 000 IOTA for 0.25 Bitcoin

Are you sure? You should have gotten a lot more than 100000 IOTA for 0.25 BTC. It should be more like 180000 - 200000 IOTA.

I'll have to check

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MSK]MaskNetwork testnet launched. Testers needed. on: January 12, 2016, 01:20:21 PM
Available For Sale 970,000 coins with Last Price $0.4 per MSK = Extremely overpriced, no thanks.

They are currently selling 1 Million coins by 10k bandwidth with a 0.1 increase at each level, starting at 0.1$.
So the 1 000 000th coin should "theorically" be sold for 10$ !!! (if they are all sold haha)
And each year for 9 more years they will put 1 million new coins in the system. Why? idk. Interest rates? New crowdsales?
Will they really stop putting new coins after 10 millions coins in the system? idk either. Why would they stop...
They can edit how many coins they want, I did not read it is a fixed number like the bitcoin.
So in the long run how is it interesting to invest currently 0.4$ / MSK coins Shocked it is too much indeed

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MSK]MaskNetwork testnet launched. Testers needed. on: December 23, 2015, 08:46:54 AM
Are you aware of the project OpenBazzar, it seems you are doing the same thing.

Well it seems OpenBazzar is not live for now and after going through their faq you will need to download the program.
MaskNetwork seems to be running and don't need any download, which is a big +
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MSK]MaskNetwork testnet launched. Testers needed. on: December 22, 2015, 08:35:33 AM
1. In May, 2014 we have started an MSK exchange and investors could buy / sell MSK for Bitcoin. BTC Deposits / withdrawals were automated.

Thank you for lighting your previous scheduling.
Will they be an MSK exchange again or there is only the IPO?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MSK]MaskNetwork testnet launched. Testers needed. on: December 19, 2015, 12:35:54 PM
There was no IPO. We started an exchange. Investors could buy / sell MSK for Bitcoin. All investment have been returned. We have announced then that we will need to redesign everything and it will take some time to come back with a viable solution. And we came back...Smiley

Do you have proof of the public adress refunded ? Indeed no information regarding any returned investment are available in your original copy/pasta from 2014...
