I doubt that we can call betting as way for making free bitcoins. You have to pay to play and there is no so many chances that you will finish the game with profit.

I would suggest solution to the impasse with SegWit: to change the name to something more respectful of the Chinese miners, to carry out faithfully executed the diplomatic mission to China, and to propose new solutions for scaling taking into account the cultural peculiarities of China.

I think it will provoke the fall of the price and bitcoin will get closer to it's capitalization. I think in this case we will loose everything that attracts us in bitcoin: it's protection from the inflation and from government. Bitcoin will never going to be the same in that case.

I think it may come true one day. The day will come, when the masses will be "run bitcoin", as well as it used to happen with gold. Another reason for the growth of BTC lies in its limited circulation (~21 million) and increasing of the demand. The increase in demand will push the growth of investments in the cryptocurrency, which over time will contribute to dynamic growth.

Taking in view the fluctuations of prices in past year, prognoses for current year can be estimated as close to reality. Some expressed that there will come a time when one bitcoin will be worth 1 000 000$, but with the current positions this seems quite unlikely. That's not true that people who buy bitcoin don't look on it's price. i think exactly such factors as decentralization and high price play the main role for bitcoin's popularization. I would leave bitcoin in the case of low price and if the price would be high as today I would stay in this even if bitcoin would get stable.
