So far this year more than 100+ crypto projects have been exploited with total losses of maybe billions of dollars, even we consider it almost not strange, there are always gaps where hackers can exploit these vulnerabilities.
Well, if the statistics are to be believed, hackers have become quite active since the beginning of this year, and this was especially noticeable in the spring. To be more precise, from January to the present, there have already been at least 175 different hacks, resulting in damages exceeding $1.2 billion. Either hackers have become too sophisticated, or the developers of many projects have become more irresponsible when it comes to security.

A lot of games & leaderboards, medals, prizes. But I doubt that anyone from here will play, most of those GTD games last too long... we are talking about some serious playing. I can barely find some time for casual poker games that last around 3h, and it's similar with many other players from here.
I also think that no body from this forum will play that GTD but still it's fun to watch the ones playing. They've allocated a huge pool for the players and the top 10 players of the tournament will take good enough money that'll have power to change their lives. CoinPoker offers multiple tournaments and they've some free rolls where a player can earn $5 to $1 by reaching top 10 ranks. It's not easy to play too long in Poker, in some tournaments we've to play for 2-3 hours but in some a player has to play for huge duration. This is how poker tournaments are structured in many popular poker rooms. If a tournament has a large prize pool, the blind structure will be deeper. If you’ve been playing poker for a while, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that a single tournament can last 8-10 hours if it goes deep. As for freerolls, to be honest, it’s better not to waste your time on them. Freerolls can only be interesting if they’re a step tournament (satellite) where you can win a ticket to a bigger tournament.

^ But you gotta look at what's really going on tho. Go look at HYPE's chart from January until now and compare it with BTC's price action also from January til now... Huge difference. HYPE has only been trending up albeit under high volatility conditions, but what is BTC doing? If you bought BTC in January, you'd be down around 25% on the trade. Lol. Overall, yes, Hype is one of the few altcoins that, when invested in earlier this year, helped investors not only avoid major losses in the bear market but also make some profit. As for BTC, if someone bought it at the beginning of the year, they essentially did so without proper analysis and simply fell for the bears’ ploy, since January saw a slight recovery after a few months of decline. Incidentally, something similar is evident on the BTC chart right now.

Bitcoin is expected to bottom in the next 6-10 weeks, now is the time to DCA into alts as they wont be at these prices much longer.
Alts are down 70-90% from their highs last year so there current prices are a good enough discount for me.
Yes, some altcoins have already plummeted so much since the end of last year that they’re now just languishing at the bottom. It’s likely that during this very period, major players are quietly buying them up, while most ordinary traders and investors either don’t notice this or have simply had their wallets severely depleted by the bear market.

I have made an account with 1win and there are good number of events to play. Like, why is it so many? 1win has been so aggressive with their marketing that you're going to find them almost everywhere. And these events that their users can play have to reflect on that kind of marketing they have. Yes, 1win has been making headlines lately. In principle, I think that’s the right approach for a gambling platform. By that, I mean aggressive marketing and trying to create hype around the brand. Most likely, if they manage to build a loyal audience of millions around their brand, it will bring them huge profits in the long run.

Politically, yes it's going to be political, but I think this type of investigation will have more influence after Trump's tenure has ended, and he's no longer the president of the country. Currently, a lot could be sidelined since he's a sitting president. That's just what I thought.
In reality, we have already seen how the $Trump token performed from launching, down to how they pumped it with hype, and it was dumped, and many investors are trapped waiting for a miracle to happen to come and rescue them.
Well, assuming the Democrats win a majority in the midterm elections at the end of this year, it seems to me that investigations into Trump and his inner circle, particularly regarding the scam meme token, may begin long before his term in the White House ends.

UPDATE : Unfortunately, there is a problem, withdrawal aren't going smooth even OpenGradient Co-founder is calling out Bitmart saying they can't get their money out because allegedly they are insolvent even though the Bitmart CEO refuse the allegation that they are running away.
The crazy thing about the picture above is, Bitmart is having a token lock program 1 week before the announcement of their cease of operation. Hopefully none of us locked altcoin on their savings campaign program, I'm sure many of us here are smart enough to understand "not your private key not your coin"
For information, anyone out there who got their withdrawal pending, try $100 or less batches of withdrawals.
Yep, I also saw a report in the media stating that the BitMart exchange was nearly insolvent, and this may be one reason they decided to abruptly wind down their operations. Specifically, even before the closure was announced, their assets were valued at just over $100 million, but after the announcement, the figure dropped to only $71 million, of which, as it turns out, more than half consists of illiquid shitcoins.

A lot of people think strategy is the most important thing in trading but they don't realize it's probably around 15 to 20% of the entire work or process. Some of the other main work include Journaling and the discipline to execute set out rules even in extreme situations that may include drawdowns. Those are some of the most boring part of the game and most people don't want to put in that work because of how boring it is. I don't blame them honestly because as someone that trades too, I understand how demanding it can be.
In addition to keeping journals, you also have to backtest, review live trade and backtest data frequently to figure out what works and what doesn't in order to focus more on what works. Very easy to say in theory.
In theory, it all sounds easy, but in practice, things can be different. When it comes to maintaining a trading journal and analyzing it, it’s best to automate the process. At the very least, you can automate the data entry by importing transaction data in CSV format from exchanges, fortunately, since some CEXs allow you to request detailed transaction information.

Delayed withdrawals are actually one of the reasons why I play on reputed casinos rather than trying new ones, because some of these new casinos take hours to process simple withdrawals, like those fiat casinos.
I don't particularly have a worst experience I can share, but there are smaller persistent issues like late deposits and slow withdrawals, losing streaks on low odds, etc. Another bad experience is when the sites are down and you can't gamble, nor can you access the funds until the maintenance is finished. We know the money is safe but it feels very annoying to just wait helplessly.
If a gambling platform or any other service delays withdrawals for any reason, it’s always cause for concern and spoils the casino experience. It’s normal if delays are one-time occurrences, for example, due to technical issues. However, if they happen systematically and under flimsy pretexts, that should raise a red flag.

When I read the OP, I had to check the charts real quick and price at the time of writing is around $63.9k that’s actually stable, considering how the market has faired between last month and now.
It's worth noting that last month the BTC price behaved more or less normally, considering that the monthly candle closed in the green zone in July. But the fact that BTC is now trading near $64k and seems "stable" is actually a bad sign, in my opinion. At the very least, this indicates that the bulls are either weak or simply not interested in buying BTC at the moment.

When you are operating an online gambling casino, you first have to determine what you want and know the strategies you are going to adopt in going through the process required, no one just dabble into doing something without looking at the cost in the first place, because this is the ultimate reason why some will fly and mass out in what they do, while others that fail to do the necessary things will be crawling along the process, and these are the things many of this gambling platforms faces as challenges in different manners.
I think the main costs for those planning to open an online casino are the actual development of the platform itself or the purchase of a ready-made solution, various licenses, and, of course, marketing expenses. Most likely, $200-300k is a rough estimate of how much funding will be needed to launch and maintain a simple online casino in the first year.

Some think we have bottomed already early July at $58k. I dont think so, i think we have one more leg lower down to around $50-52k at least.
Either way I feel we only have a few months left of this bear market and then it will be up only for a few years which will be nice.
To be honest, I also don’t like the predictions that the bottom was around $57-58k. The bears have tested this level’s strength for far too long, and personally, it seems strange to me that they would suddenly give up and not try to test this support level again. Another indirect sign suggesting that the bearish trend in the market may continue is the weak bullish momentum we’ve seen recently. So I’m also expecting the bearish trend to continue and for some altcoins to hit new lows.

Well, if the bearish trend in the market continues and HYPE leads to an even deeper correction from the ATH, then yes, this guy will likely lose even more, since he’ll start making even more rash trading decisions driven by his emotions. As I noted earlier, given his emotions and the fact that market conditions aren’t exactly favorable for trading right now, he should just take a step back for a while.

Bitcoin as a volatile asset will be hard to predict what the price will be in a long run,
I disagree with that. Although Bitcoin is still a fairly volatile asset, it's actually quite possible to predict its movement over the long term. In particular, by analyzing the chart on longer time frames, you can more accurately determine BTC’s future movement. p.s. It’s also worth noting that BTC is far from being the most volatile asset. For example, last year, some metals were even more volatile than BTC.
