We need more people voting for i0coin on Mintpal.  It's a high volume exchange and would help i0coin a lot to increase trading.

https://www.mintpal.com/voting

yes we should get on mintpal.  need more votes.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][I0C] ****** New I0coin Website ****** on: March 04, 2014, 04:39:57 AM
new site looks good.

Yes it does.  Also keep in mind we need more people to join the i0coin forum at www.geti0coin.com/forum.  If you support the coin please create a forum account and join the conversation.  We need to talk about how to improve promotion of the coin and other topics.

The forum good for i0coin supporters to be together.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why IOC is better than IXC, BTC, NMC, LTC on: December 23, 2013, 07:37:05 AM
Low inflation means i0coin should hold its value better long term.  Is that the idea?
6  Local / India / Re: Exchanges in India on: December 22, 2013, 06:28:36 PM
Hi,

I'll be launching ibitcointrade.com very soon. Initially we won't be charging any fee.

I'll give it a try.
7  Local / India / Re: Encryption Works on: October 29, 2013, 02:03:57 AM
As  soon as  Quantum computing becomes  cheap enough all  hell  is  going  to  break loose when it  comes  to  public  key cryptography.

I've heard people say this before, but can't we just add more encryption bits?  True, 256-bit, 512-bit is too low.  What about a million bit encryption?  Quantum computing will only be a problem if just a few people have these computers.  If they are mainstream then there is a level playing field once again.

Any chance for I0Coin?

Its current hashrate is about 138TH/s since it's merged mined with bitcoin. I bet it's the highest for coins not listed in cryptsy!

 Grin  Grin

I agree, I0coin has a very powerfull network and allmost 1000000 blocks created. Why list a new coin that hasn't proven himself while I0coin still exists because people are dedicated to it. I prefer to trade a coin with a network of 138TH/s instead of 58MH/s

My vote is for I0coin too.  I know it's not on this list but maybe the next.

I0coin (I0C)

Benefits
    Zero premine
    80 second block times
Total mined coins will be 21,000,000 coins
High network hash rate (merge mined)
Already implemented a fix for memory size problems inherent with large block chains

Jambi like i0coin.  Underated and deserves to be on more exchanges.

I will wait a bit longer to use this site.  Not sure about it yet.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i0coin UPDATES on: April 07, 2013, 05:56:11 PM
I0coin is still on the list of projects, it has just fallen down a "few" rungs.

If somebody does not fix it before I can get to it, I promise to take another look at it.

I the mean time, if someone could post a 64 bit executable for i0coin v0.3.25.9 it would allow more miners to keep it alive!  I had to stop mining once the 32 bit version died.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: January 07, 2013, 07:23:11 PM
Has anyone looked into possible file size problems?  blkindex.dat for i0coin is currently 1.7 GB.  Will there be a problem when it hits 2 GB?

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa366778%28v=vs.85%29.aspx

We need to be sure this update produces 64 bit versions of the i0coin client, both for Windows and Linux.

Nice to know that, bitcoin service is being introduced in India.

I second that!

Me too.
16  Local / India / Re: Help promote bitcoin in India on: November 01, 2012, 04:21:01 AM
they won't accept it because they won't find any btc customers  Undecided

We have to start some where.  Who comes first the customers or the stores?  I think it's a good idea to suggest bitcoin to the stores.  Once they offer it, customers will come.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Namecoin wallet on: September 10, 2012, 03:11:25 AM
Hi,

Sorry for that newbie question, but I can't figure where and how to get a NMC Wallet in order to start collecting NMC.

I registered an account on Vircurex, but I can't see anywhere my NMC wallet adress.

Many thanks !!!!!

I've used Ufasoft Coin for a few months.  It stores BTC, LTC, and NMC.  Lately I've been having problems with it downloading the NMC block chain.  Has anyone else had the same problem?

Also, you can import and export keys using pywallet.

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Rig on: September 09, 2012, 08:59:46 PM
If I were to buy a mining rig that works at approx. 300 MH/s, would I see a significant increase in my hydro bill? Would it even be worth it at this point? I am planning to mine in a pool not solo.

ASIC mining rigs are coming out soon.  They are much more cost effective.
