1101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: January 23, 2023, 10:28:24 PM
yes trading is risky and everyone faces some difficulties while trading sometime they win and sometime they faces defeat. But if people manage their strategies and apply those planning through which they can get benefit so it will be easy to enhance their profits. Some people just focus on others ideas and others mind they work according to the other's thought so that's why they fail to get better outcomes. fruitful results will be achieved but for that you should be patience because not a single person become Millionaire in a matter of seconds hence every success needs time.
If you focus on others ideas, then you will have hard time figuring out why it didn't work and why you made a loss. If you knew what could be wrong, then you wouldn't trust others to begin with, you would end up doing your own, or at least not follow that other person since you would know what was wrong with it.

If you followed them, then you didn't know what was wrong with it, and when you lose money then you will be just blaming them for your loss and moving on to another person. It is much better to figure out what you could do yourself and that way you would be able to make a lot of profit and you would be figuring out what's wrong and fixing that to make more profit.
Its never been ideal for you to follow up someones idea or analysis when it comes to trading and its  true that you wouldnt really be able to figure out for yourself on what are thing things that you should be able to learn if you are the ones who do make out such analysis and made out your own ways on how to deal up with the market. This is why self experience and learning would be the best tool for you to make yourself
that effective and making yourself do able to learn and much more preferable on this way.Trading is indeed risky but this is something that you could really be able to handle out on your own
which it might takes time and lots of effort but once you do have a good grasp to it then you could really be able to sustain.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: January 20, 2023, 09:09:41 PM
Well, since this thread has devolved into a discussion which has little to nothing to do with betting (but rather political & social topics), I would advice to OP to lock this thread and let this topic to be moved elsewhere.

I assume there is not much to talk on betting since the Miss Universe is over anyways.
Agree on this one since the discussions isnt already that connected to betting but rather with having the personal opinions and discussions about the result then it is really something that being derailed.
So its better to lock up this thread but it seems that op hadnt logged in for couple of days but it would be good if this one would be locked out to avoid further discussions.
Its a must thing or simply mods could do up the locking.  Smiley
1103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Btc get to $12k or $10k on: January 20, 2023, 08:10:15 PM
No one imagined that the bitcoin price would return to the $16k point as the decline did not occur immediately but was gradually pushed down to that price level. This makes many people unaware or does not think that it turns out that bitcoin can be lowered to that level. And while the price was able to return to $21k yesterday, it is still possible to drop back below $20k. And this is a correction that has happened to bitcoin so many times that it will affect other coins. But we don't expect the price to drop below $20k. And if that happens, we can't do anything and can only try to buy it at a low price.
Bitcoin has increased significantly since the recovery from the $16k price, so there has been no correction below the $18k price at the moment because the bitcoin price recovery trend is still increasing and the market is trying to reach the $25k recovery area, once it reaches the target of an increase then a correction higher will occur gradually to back below $20k to test that the market deserves to recover higher and gear up for a bull market.
Hopefully that there would be no negative news that would pop out in the market which would lead up into some other possible huge decline in price. So far the price is really that holding well and i thought that we would be seeing 18k price knowing that there would really be some price correction basing up on the recent increase in price that we do have but it seems that it do held strong on this level in between 20-21k.
If this one would really be staying up for long then we might be seeing 25k soon but im not really that confident for us to reach that point easily but who knows? This market is always been that unpredictable
and it could move out without basing with some fundamentals or news behind. This is why its not really bad to make up positions on this point but cant be avoided for you to have those doubts.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: January 19, 2023, 11:20:41 PM
I guess there's nothing wiser than just accumulating, even though most of us aren't really sure that 2023 there gonna be changes towards the current trend but I think accumulation always wins at the end just like holding always benefits long term holders. even right now stake programs didn't really seems interesting mainly the interest generated will just get eaten up with the inflation even if there's small decrease in value.
If we do just is simply took that zoom out picturization of entire charts of every coins in the market or even just look on top 10 or 20 then you would really be able to say that it wouldnt really be that
bad to position yourself into this bear market which we are really seeing some signs for recovery whether for this year or would be happening on post halving. If you do go for long term then it wont
really be that a bad idea you for you to get in.Its true that there's no way that we could determine on what would be the situation for this new year whether the bearish market would
continue or at least we do able to breath somehow on seeing some green candles.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: January 19, 2023, 10:45:39 PM
While some people might find these types of pageants as "degrading" to women, I find them to be the opposite.  Especially from what I've seen recently.  I know Donald Trump used to own and run this pageant, so I'm glad that he no longer does.  I find this pageant as empowering to women and a way to open many doors of opportunity for them.

I of course absolutely loved Miss El Salvador and the bitcoin themed outfit she came out to.  To me this shows that the country is at the forefront of wanting to become technologically advanced.

I haven’t seen the outfit of Miss Salvador but I guess it’s not surprising at all if she used bitcoin themed because El Salvador will always be known as the first country to adopt bitcoin as a payment system. Well, that boosts our excitement too as there might be chances that in the next miss universe pageant, contestants will also be using another crypto themed that will lead to mass awareness about crypto. Miss Universe betting might also be possible in the next pageant as I don’t find betting odds this year.
You could check this one out.

Miss El Salvador dons golden bitcoin outfit at beauty pageant

The thing that they've done on that costume does really increase out awareness of Bitcoins existence which i could say that it is really a great initiative for whomever
did consider on adding or showcasing that one. Good thing!
1106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Two Types Of Traders - My Personal Classification on: January 19, 2023, 09:44:14 PM
A blind trader would really be ending up on being that awakened trader.  Cheesy It all matters on the experience that they would encounter and those initial thoughts and believe on mind will really be swept
away and they would really be having that other approach on the time that they had gained up sufficient experience through different trading encounters.Sooner or later you would really be realizing off those things.
From blind to awaken which it would be the most common case to happen where it isnt surprising that you would really be more better when you do realize up things along the way.
If you are really that liking not to progress yourself then you would be sticking into your common methods until your do realize that it is pointless to continue on this way.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: January 19, 2023, 08:49:20 PM
Bitcoin is a potential investment so you must invest in bitcoin for long term. and you must keep your eyes On daily price fluctuations and if you feel by your own Analysis that bitcoin price can crash any time then that time you can sell your bitcoin and wait for dip. but if you think you will get a huge profit from bitcoin in short time if you invest in bitcoin then that would be your stupidity. You have to buy and sell bitcoins as per your need so long time you have to invest on bitcoins only then you will be able to get a big amount of profit from here.

While a lot of people would agree with you on the potentials of bitcoin, I wouldn’t exactly say it’s a must to invest in bitcoin and for the long term. Bitcoin may seem like a favorable investment to you, that doesn’t mean it is to the next person.
Besides, if you’re aiming on holding for the long run, why bother yourself keeping daily check on the fluctuation of its price. Long term holders do not bother their head and heart about the current market price.

OP, investments generally yield more profits, if any after the long run. So choose wisely.
Not all does have the patience on making yourself able to hold up for long term and literally speaking and comparing in between potential profits then the ones who do actively dealing with are the ones who have
the chance on earning more but of course you would really be needing to deal off something which would really be requiring that kind of risk taking which is something not all would really be willing in doing so.
Doesnt matter whether you do go for short term or long term when we do talk about bitcoin investment because it would really be your total choice on which one you would be sticking into.
It does vary and several factors would really be affecting such decision.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: We are not out of the woods yet on: January 18, 2023, 09:56:21 PM
There is always this most painful season in crypto space that hurts even the strongest of crypto holders out there where they will almost give up, I don't believe that this bear market will be different, if you are here in 2019 you knew what I am talking about.

It will get to a point where many will start losing hope on crypto, a more painful bottom will occur and holders will lose faith, the bear market will look like it will be here forever.

We are not at this point yet so do not get too confidence that a new all times low is no more possible, no one saw COV-19 coming in 2020 and anything can still happen between 2023- 2024.
I know that it do sucks when you are really that optimistic but turns out to be a hater in the end of the line just because the bear market hits you hard and if it did really blown up your investment wayback then you would really be having this kind of impression and thinking that bear and dumps is really just lurking in the corner. Its not bad to have that kind of doubt and hesitance but these things would really stop you on
getting in on potential opportunities which you might that encounter along the way which means that it wont really be that ideal to stick into that mindset.
Long bearish market could exist but we know that recovery and bull run is still there.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: January 18, 2023, 06:58:25 PM
IMO it's better for the casino set minimum deposit and withdrawal based on the coin equivalent rather than on fiat equivalent. This because let's say if the coin price is worth for $20/each now and the casino ask minimum deposit of $20, then I make a transaction to send this coin to the casino, but after 5 minutes later the price is drop to $17, so the casino can just reject my deposit since it's lower than the minimum.

If they're using coin equivalent, anyone wouldn't get this kind problem.

I don't see a problem with dollar value as long as they keep the minimum deposit and withdrawal very low.
It's understandable they don't want to keep processing dust transactions otherwise people would spam them with $2 deposits all day, especially people from very poor countries where $1 has a real value.

Setting minimum deposit and withdrawal at $20 is pretty high, unless they aren't accessible on global scale. Many people earn less than $10 a day, so $20 deposit requirement is pretty high.

If you don't want to face the problem of constant price changes you can use bitcoin. Its value usually doesn't change that much on an hourly basis and 10% drops are rare.
But if they would stick into a fixed amount in usd value then bitcoin value would sudden change and if ever it would be that fixed then it would neither be lower or higher on the said threshold
which it could neither be a good thing or bad specially when you are a small scale type of gambler. Most of the time these limits arent really that something a bothersome specially to those
who are big bettors or who do have huge funds. This is usually can be seen up into those people who are really that making minimum deposits and withdrawals but its true
that having lower is much more preferable.
1110  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL]What do you expect from Bitcoin in 2023? on: January 18, 2023, 05:26:20 PM
But my forecast is that this year bitcoin will not find ATH, but will experience a phase of gradual recovery according to market reactions and conditions that allow it and I want the $40,000-$50,000 price to close by the end of the year.

Too optimistic. It is unlikely that Bitcoin will close this year at such high levels. Yes, he can reach them this year, but it is unlikely to keep such a price until the end of the year. Most likely, a more realistic closing of the year will be somewhere in the region of $28,000-35,000.
Better to make yourself not that expecting much because it would really just frustrate you out.Although price is totally unpredictable and there's no way that you could be able to predict on whats next
but basing up on its movement that we are currently seeing then it would really be realistic on sub 30k price which is something that wont really be that too far to reach out.
40-50k is possible because we know that this market is unpredictable but it would take lots of positive news to be a catalyst on reaching up those levels again
but seeing on the current economic situation then it is really that hard to reach it out.
1111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 18, 2023, 09:45:43 AM
I don't see any boring part of seeing your money grow. without having any effort like sitting? People that I've known want to have passive income like business and they are working hard so sitting on the couch and seeing your bitcoin holdings grow overtime is good. But it takes time unlike trading when you can win a certain amount on that day or week unlike holding takes years before you can see that you gain profit. but again it depends on the person since my self I prefer both so I do allocate money to both.
Most of the investors haven't come into cryptocurrency see it for a space to come and make money then leave. That's just it, you come in, accumulate as you want and walk away. Only to come back when ever your ready to accumulate some more and leave.

Well, there are sides to this even. Given that, what is given is taken from someone or some place else. Its why we've got Aak and Bid in our orders. Depending on the market situation, one might make profit from being in either position  from time to time.

Trading and hodling offers different advantages or securities.
In trading, you get to operate on a high level of risk to reward ratio. You find yourself putting out more which could always take either ways in either profit or lose bit, this occurs more frequently and so, you've got some real chance of doubling or been robbed of your portfolio in the shortest possible time.
When it's got to do with hodling, the dynamics to doubling comes with the time you put in and even might not be commensurate with the wait time in years. One thing remains for sure and that is, profit but, its coin specific though. Bitcoin remains the most recommended for hoding if you may. DYOR.

If you win a trade and earn a profit for sure there are trader around the world that lost it. That is really the life in trading if you win someone should lose if you lose someone should win it is the cycle and it never breaks that is why it is only rare who can earn a lot of profit in trading that is why others tend to walkway once the get enough profit for the day or for the month. On the other hand, holding is also great as long as you can control your emotion and less effort but again having control of your emotions are difficult so you should be prepared.
That's how trading is that we can't keep making profits because there will be times when we lose,
trading is also not that easy because it requires preparation,
in holding self-control or controlling emotions is so important and indeed it is difficult to practice.
Most noobs do really think up this way specially on their first encounter or try on trading on which they do really believe that making yourself profitable is really just easy with trading but on the time that they do really make out those real trades then this is where realizations do comes in which is really that very hard and its not something that you could easily deal with.We do really end up on holding if we are really that making
huge mistakes its not really that bad if you arent that liquidated due to futures trading..This is why its really that important on where you do know on where you would be heading up.
Holding is good but it would be that ideal if you do know on how to deal up with volatility and make profits in short duration.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [POLL] Will BNB crash? Will Binance go bankrupt? on: January 17, 2023, 10:05:04 PM
Recently, Binance has taken a step forward compared to other exchanges, they are ramping up recruitment and preparing to expand into countries they have yet to go to. Meanwhile, exchanges like coinbase or Huobi are laying off employees due to financial difficulties caused by bear season. This is enough to show how big of a growth and sustainability CZ brings to Binance. No one can guarantee that Binance will last forever, but with these little Fuds, taking down Binance is impossible.

If CZ wasn't intelligent, his company wouldn't last this long in a changeable Crypto market. we have seen many exchanges rise up then fall rapidly because this market lacks stability and has high competition between various entities to control the industry. If I told someone now that Bittrex and Poloniex were the leading Crypto exchanges before the appearance of Binance, they wouldn't trust me considering the current positions and popularity of the said exchanges.
CZ proved himself as real player, and I think he will remain one of the biggest players in Crypto until the entrance of more intelligent competitor.
Im much aware on how Poloniex and Bittrex did really dominate the market wayback on those previous years and then suddenly been replaced by Binance. We would all be presuming that on what happened into those 2 would eventually happen into Binance which i do believe that CZ had already prepared for that? Just common sense..I do agree into those words in speaking about being intelligent and wise on handling out his company
and its true that it is really just easy to replace a certain platform or company in a snap if we do speak about popularity and certain degree of relevance.
BNB will crash? It would really be always depending on the fundamentals or performance of Binance itself which it would really definitely reflect out.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I turned over $1.344M with Sportsbet.com - https://imgur.com/a/gFB14gl on: January 17, 2023, 09:09:56 PM

Let's just appreciate the OP's post and understand him because he's just saying his side. And it's rare to see this kind of post that contains actual big figures for betting in a specific month. Besides, I don't really see such risk here even if OP will post that he had over a million dollar bet. Just wondering though, OP, did you really get upset because you haven't got the $100 Bonus bets? I'm just curious about it because it's just a tiny amount compared to what you've been giving to them.

It's not the money, it's the fact they said they only reward players who lose. It's left a really bad taste in my mouth. They didn't even try to escalate to a manager or find an alternative.
They would really be giving out those bonuses and rewards for those who do lose more? Its just common  sense yet any house would definitely do that because they would really love for someone to lose more and trying out to prolong them into their game sessions and make more revenue for them which it isnt really that something new.Get used to it and thats how they do run off their business. It might really hurt up your feelings
or it might not taste that good but thats how this industry works. The wrong thing they have done is to tell you about their motive. As a businessowner then winning bettor or does have huge profits
type isnt something that good looking or appealing into your eyes, they would rather be happy if you would flock into other place.  Cheesy
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 16, 2023, 11:38:35 PM
Yes I am still holding some of my coin, I am trying to hold as much as I could and buy as much as I could right now.
For me it is better to let it sit into crypto than Fiat, I have a higher chance to gain more when I am letting it sleep on crypto than in my bank account.
When you do store up your fiat on having savings in fiat, you would really be only having 1-2% per annum increase on your deposit which you could say that its not really that not worth but when it comes to security
then there's no doubt that these institutions could really give out that kind of security which it would really be not prone to any type of frauds or other security issues. When you do put up on Bitcoin or crypto space
or simply having investment then high chances that those amounts would bloat or increase out in value but you should also put up into your mind that this isnt always the case considering that we do really have a
volatile market which it would really be that impossible that you wont really be able to witness and realize for yourself on how you should gonna deal with it.
1115  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving one third what you earn monthly is not that hard, isn't it ? on: January 16, 2023, 10:29:42 PM
If you are in twenties or early thirties and remain single, earn $3,000 after tax per month, you will probably save $1,000 if you, let's say, spend $500 to $800 on rental, a guest bedroom in a shared house/apartment, $500 on food, $50  on utilities, $150 on phone/internet bills, $400 on commuting costs or gas/maintainance if you have a used car, $200 on occasional entertainment or others. This $1,000 savings will allow you to invest or place a house down payment when time is ripe. Is this possible based on where you live ?
Whatever amount of money you can save, if placed correctly it is sure to generate a suitable return. In some countries, $1,000 is considered a large amount to save or invest, because each country has a different exchange rate. If $1,000 invested in bitcoins regularly and consistently will bring you great returns, many people even make investments far less than the money you have saved.

So it can be said that that much money would be quite appropriate if placed in an investment in bitcoin, but the rest depends on how a person places the money they have, but for me the steps to buy bitcoin slowly are much better, because if done regularly over time it will become big.
good calculation - I am very poor in saving funds - I suffer so much since I am the sole breadwinner.
The money management has given me so much crisis and ups and down in my life. I wish I can save some money and make it my habit  and my monthly ritual
When you are a breadwinner then it would really be that hard for you to save up and we are on the same situation on which you could hardly even ending up on having a savings or extra money just because there's something that you do need to spend up or shall we say its part of expenses which it would really be just normal that you should prioritize them for you to continue even if you dont really have the time on extra money
that you would be saving up.Its not really that hard if you are really that serious on saving up but there are instances which leaves you no choice but to deal with it.
Saving up would really be totally different into each other because we do have different financial situations or capabilities.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you handle your losses on: January 16, 2023, 09:30:37 PM
For me, acceptance is the key in handling my losses. Whether it is a big or small loss, accepting the fact that you have lost is the first step in moving on and letting it go. If I cannot accept it, I will always try to chase the amount until I am in a deeper hole and lose a lot more. It happened to me before and I learned from it. I used to gamble in roulette and chase my losses by doing martingale. But it does not work. One long loss streak and you will lose everything. So, I learned to move on and accept my loss. If ever it is a big loss, I will take away myself from gambling for a while and stop betting. This resets me and prepares me to make my next move in gambling.

It also helps that I have a fixed amount set for gambling. I do not over spend now since I can only spend the set amount.
There's nothing we can do and loss is a loss and never ever try to take those losses back because it would really just create that kind of desperation which is something that you dont really need up because it would pile up even more your losses and this is something that you dont really like for it to happen. This is why its better to move on and play on the amount which you had allocated for that particular session.Dont make yourself
get that been affected by much with anger and anxiety which we do gamble for fun and not to make it as a source of income and this is something that we should avoid at all cost.
Handle yourself in good control so that you wont really mess up even more.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone know why FTT price started to rise just now? on: January 16, 2023, 08:17:38 PM
Yeah it's so irrational. I'm also confused about the fact that FTT still has any value and is actively traded. It's probably just a scam pump and people are so desperate to speculate on anything.

The $5 billion probably won't even be enough to cover all customers/creditors deposits, let alone FTX investors and FTT holders. Additionally, I don't believe FTT holders are entitled to anything from the bankruptcy process since it doesn't represent FTX equity.

high likely that it is a scam pump, trying to lure naive buyers to buy their tokens. hopefully, people should not only think twice buying FTT but try contemplating what is the reason why it will have a future? the news of possibly recovering $5B is just a smokescreen. we don't know how valid is the claim and if they can indeed recover it. there's more to this than meets the eye. don't trust easily about their claims. as long as they are not returning the lost funds to its appropriate stakeholders, just observe and don't buy the fomo. or are you really trusting one more time this platform?
Whether we do like it or not on which there would really be those people or investors who would really love to burn up some money or simply taking up risks on dealing up something which had been highly frowned upon
due to those known big issues which we could really say that it isnt really that worth anymore on touching up a certain coin even with a 10-ft pole but surprisingly there are really still ones who do love to gamble out.
Whether this one is a fake pump or not but most likely it is which there are people who do really likes to play. Its true that those amounts been mentioned arent enough on covering up the entire hole
on what FTX did into its investors/users which is something that you can take it back specially the trust that had been broken.

1119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Rank positions on CMC changes every bull market? on: January 12, 2023, 11:19:45 PM
What is the crypto projects in top 20 that will fail to retain their position in the next bull market? There is a saying that in every bull market new projects will take over the top 20, do you think another project can rob the positions that Avalanche, Matic, Polkadot and Solana tomorrow?

Easily and probably will.  There is no way the top 20 stays the same.  There will be a new fad and new coins get mega pumped just like in every other cycle.  One thing is almost certain though, bitcoin will end up in first just like it always has.  That's why altcoins aren't meant for bag holding.
It changes from time to time due to the changing demand and trades in the market. But there is one thing I was sure of that Bitcoin will remain on top and then be followed by ETH. But with those on the top 10-20 coins, that can possibly change. Well, I have no worries about it because I don't have any of these coins in my wallet. I have BTC and ETH at this time, and it gives me confidence that I make rewards after this bear season.
I expect Solana to drop more after the latest issue connecting to a new project.

Rank #2 or down below doesnt really ensure their spots and it isnt something that could really be that fixed but we know that ETH is something that cant really be that simply overtaken which it would really be
that subjective or simply depends basing up on the demand which is always been the key.We have make out comparison in previous bulls runs when it comes to placement and ranking on where people do really see
different names.Bitcoin is still on the top spot and havent been replaced since but there are no assurance that it would be like this forever but we cant really just ignore that we would be able might to
see unexpected things which arent that impossible.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is It good For The Casinos And The Accusers If .. on: January 12, 2023, 10:28:16 PM
Is It Good For The Casinos And The Accusers If the casino operators decided to post a disclaimer that they will not answer accusations here in Bitcointalk but prefer to address them on other platforms that they think are fair and moderated like Askgambler and other platforms?
What's your take on this I don't want to be specific but the question applies to all casino operators.

Each casino has autonomy to decide how it will handle the accusations it receives.
We know that Bitcointalk has many baseless accusations of alleged players, lies and attempts at defamation.
These cases discourage casino operators from answering the accusations here on Bitcointalk which is a free environment for anyone to post whatever they want.
However, we must remember that Bitcointalk is the largest crypto community, and probably also where most of the players on these sites are concentrated.
So, failing to respond to the accusations here would be something very negative for sites that even sponsor a lot of subscription campaigns and hire forum marketing services.
