461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What thing you much check before investing in an ICO? on: October 20, 2018, 09:17:53 AM
You need to make a great research before investing. I usually spend 5-6 hours to investigate one project. Firstly, I am reading the whitepaper, than I look at the fundraising level. The last but not least, I am usually checking the community numbers in Facebook, Telegram, Twitter and Reddit.
The most important thing when it comes to investing in an ICO is to actually check out the team, and then check out the product feasibility. There is one thing I always try as much as possible to use which is SWOT analysis and that is the Strength of the project, which is this case would be the team, product and business solutions, and then the Weakness, which would be the unavailability of some of the things mentioned initially and then the Opportunity when it comes to long term growth and then the Threat which in this case would be the competitions and how they stand out. With these just few things, you will be making best decisions in your investment.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Monero become next BTC? on: October 20, 2018, 07:59:41 AM
Monero is a excellent coin and it proved itself . people also like monero so much but become next BTC i think is very very difficult because BTC is the king of coins and it is available everywhere in the world.People trust BTC more than any other coin.
Even though it is excellent as you have painted it, it is not like it would just take over btc. The thing that makes Monero what it is presently is the fact that it is a completely private and anonymous coin and can easily be used in the dark world without being traced.

Now, for coins like this, I am very skeptical how they are going to thrive with regulations which is actually knocking anyway and considering the fact that they would be an easy target for being run down as a result of such regulations. It is one thing that the market is decentralized and it is another thing that it is completely anonymous.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the correct time to purchase bitcoins and al-crypto? on: October 20, 2018, 07:25:55 AM
yes of course, this is the right time if you want to buy and start investing in Crypto because crypto prices are still low and you can hold it and wait until the crypto price will rise again as predicted by many people
Yeah, it is never too late at all. This is a market that we know do have a future and the possibility of seeing it grow more than this in real life usage aspect is something that is a lot possible.

One thing however is to just know how to play your cards well when it comes to buying into the market, and at this point, I am sure any smart person will know this is a good time to buy. At some point, there is no doubt the market will end up recovering, which is something I believe would happen anyway, but whichever way it is, I know somehow, whoever is buying now, will not regret it in the future.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 20, 2018, 06:43:24 AM
The success of digital wallets in the African continent was really great and based on what I've read on news articles about it, it really helped the economy and the businesses when it all started years ago.
With this in mind, will Africans be welcoming of bitcoin/altcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to earn cash or invest? Like using it as real money / cash?
I don't think there is anything that is impossible to happen, one of the ways is that crypto currency can be managed in the region of Africa. It is not possible that this could happen, considering the government of Africa is friendly to crypto currencies. with banks, of course this will attract investors to invest their capital in crypto currencies in the region of Africa
Yeah, Yeah! Nothing is impossible quite alright, but at the same time, things will not just happen out of the blue. For instance, someone with no internet access and no possibility this person could even get to have an access, then, I wonder how they really want to get to adopt cryptocurrency or have an idea of what it is, let alone how to use it in their daily lives.

I know we cannot generalize this for everywhere in Africa as we still have some places trying to do well technology wise, but really, I still feel they have a long way to go in the whole continent.
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can get information of pump coins? on: October 19, 2018, 12:28:28 PM
There are athousand coin and token in the market so will be difficult to know which coin will be pump in a few hours. But i have seen many coins that listed on the Binance was pump,  so its better make more analysis all coins that listed and tradeable on Binance.
Most important thing is to have the knowledge on how to analyze each market you want to be holding, know if it is a good time to be getting in based on some of your indicators and strategy, and then sticking with it.

You cannot get information on a pumped coin unless you want to be joining some pump groups who at the end of the day are only trying to look for gullible people to stash and dump their shit coins on and in that case, you really want to be very careful. As long as you have the idea and knowledge on how to do your thing in a market, you will always be fine, instead of relying on some pump groups.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: October 19, 2018, 11:45:07 AM
Cryptocurrency issued by governments are centralised coins they are just replacement of fiat currency
Exactly, nothing will ever change that and absolutely no country will ever come up with a cryptocurrency that is decentralized and they have no control over.

We should not even be debating this, looking at the attitude government has put up on the idea of decentralization over the years and apparently, the only thing we are going to be seeing is just another fiat on the blockchain that is purely centralized, the same economic policies generally that has been ongoing still applies to it and the only difference is going digital. Sure, we may see some transparency when it comes to spending by the government.
467  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Let’s exchange knowledge for knowledge! on: October 19, 2018, 11:02:13 AM
Blockchain borned as a way of decentralization of the economic system and powers. An alternative to an old paradigm of a few that have control on everything. Knowledge can be controlled too... and it is the most important part of us. Without knowledge we are nothing.

We should start taking the mentality of creating new types of wealth for the world. This could be done by helping others with our experience and knowledge, opening door for others.

For me... my dream was  working  in the automotive industry. Designing cars and bringing them to life.
It took me years to arrive to the place where I am know. And a lot of effort and dreams. Specially because I came from a country where doing car design is a big big dream. South America is not the friendliest place to have a dream. I am really great full to a amazing person who showed me the way. Just a few words can change everything. Nowadays he is my mentor and a good friend.

My proposal to you is that I can teach you what is really important in order to become a digital modeler for the car industry... and I mean doing crazy cool cars. In exchange of nothing... just your experience or advice in something that you think is worth knowing or exchanging.

I hope all of you can achieve your dreams one day. And I am sure there is someone out there who had the same dream and he did achieve it and he would be happy sharing with you his key to success Smiley

Peace !
Anyone that wants to know anything should simply ask a question. You don’t get knowledge if you don’t go out searching for it, it’s only those that search for knowledge that finds.

So whatever you want to know, either you carry out some research about it or you ask questions in the forum and anyone that knows about it would give you the answer you seek. No one is ready to sit and start discussing about their careers, there are schools out there.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is your future? on: October 19, 2018, 10:31:17 AM
Until now I'm studying different things that have to do with cryptos, from work as a writer to developer of blockchain, it's good to know that cryptos are so varied that literally there are jobs of any kind, just think about what you like to do and try to implement it in the cryptos and also if you want to live off that, know how to get money.
It is for me. I keep thinking about getting out of this line of business but honestly if I am capable of making decent amount of money by just sitting at home doing freelance work and getting bitcoin as a payment option and not have to worry about getting up from my ass and going to work on all those traffic and than dealing with other people and than having to listen to boss talking about how I am doing my job wrong when in reality they have no idea what they are talking about.

This way I just sit at home in my pajamaz and work like crazy and do it in my own time. Sometimes I have to do something and I just go out and deal with that and comeback home and work at nights, sometimes I wake up and work during the day and than go out at night or whatever. This is much better arrangement for me and as long as I do not have to I won't do it any other way.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit exchange- worst case security + support work imho on: October 19, 2018, 09:56:47 AM
Their support is next-level bad. They don't even respond to development teams. It's pretty messed up.
Next level bad is actually an understatement, as there is no actual word in the dictionary to qualify the state of negativity that oozes out from the Yobit exchange which has been a thing over time. This is an exchange with no single support at all and for a platform that practically deals with user's fund; I wonder how those who are using it have been coping.

We have heard of people losing their funds, accounts being frozen, withdrawal not even coming up and then for these reasons, I believe that whoever is still making use of this exchange is basically just looking for trouble and heartache combined.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes a good bounty program? on: October 19, 2018, 09:01:58 AM
A good bounty program is usually dependent on how effective their bounty manager is, some are so lazy that they are not even updating the spreadsheets every week and bounties like this discourage people from joining in on the bounty campaign. Also one that does not have ridiculous terms and conditions to be able to join the bounty
Well, bounty manager is just one piece of the puzzle but there is so much more to a good bounty program as far as I am concerned with most of it balling down to the whole team of developers as a whole.

I understand that some bounty program managers can be so bad sometimes that you get pissed off at the way they tend to do things unprofessionally, and that is one thing to always try to look for, but it is not the major criteria, what is important is to know whether the project is something that would be worth doing a bounty for and whether it has a good prospect for the future which should be the main criteria when it comes to bounty campaign participation.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No.1 Altcoin Back in Horror on: October 18, 2018, 12:39:00 PM
Present market situation is too bad to describe. Ethereum is very important for altcoins. If market goes on higher,Ethereum will go on higher position.
Market condition may be bad but that does not mean it still has not been able to bring some goodies now and even over the years. We cannot say Ethereum is back in horror yet, as this is something that is generally applicable to the whole crypto sphere as the dark days fell on every one of them, with Ethereum not being an exception obviously, and in that way.

I just certainly believe that however things get to turn out, we surely will just have to wait and see, which makes it require patience and monitoring on how Vitalik will make certain decisions over time, but Vitalik opting out does not mean the Ethereum project will not continue.
472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The advantage of day trader on: October 18, 2018, 11:59:45 AM
Yeah I think the advantage is that you can get profits quickly and maybe you can get it every day, even though the benefits you get are small, because you have to make the best use from the margin price, but the risk will be far greater than holding it right?
Depends on the current market situation. if its a bull market yes you can earn profits quickly but in bear markets like what we are experiencing now, its hard to be a day trader. You have to chose carefully or else you will end up shifting from day trading to long term hodling. for day traders, setting an achievable goal is important. Setting a 10% profit in a day might not be a good idea.
You're cause setting an achievable goal is also among the rules and regulations of cryptocurrency day trader but with the current marjet status I think 10% profit you mentioned is more than enough. However, the only benefit I see in day trader is that they are always the first to make profit from the market each time the bullish market start.
The big advantage of day trading is that you can get money on daily basis. You can do day trading gas full time job because you will earn enough profit that you will overcome your daily financial needs. No need to go outside for job and get a fixed salary after a month. I know that salary is confirmed but you cannot earn more than that, but in day trading you may earn more than a fixed salary in one day.
Sure, it can be a full time job if you know what you are doing and you can be making some consistent profit at least somehow daily or weekly as the condition of the market gives.

Day trading can be very rewarding if you are good, but if you are not, it can be very devastating as I have seen a lot of people who usually end up getting totally screwed from their trade and losing all their funds, because they just assumed they can get into the market, start picking the bottom and selling the peak without even having a single idea what they are doing and all they keep doing is gambling the market. That is always a wrong move and it would always not lead to a good outcome.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of coin are you waiting for on the pump? on: October 18, 2018, 11:28:17 AM
When bull market  come, all 10 top crypto on coinmarketcap will pump, just different with its gainer.  Last year between top 10 coin, XLM has been become the biggest gainer compared others. And i hope XLM will do it the same thing again in next bull market.
Oh! That is something that is definite and I am sure we will get to see a whole lot of the other ones in the lower chain also trying to make some move as well. I have actually been looking at some low capped coins that actually got beaten down from ICO and trading a whole lot below their ICO level as a pretty good chance as well when it comes to when the market starts getting pumped.

These are usually always the targets of most investors, especially for those with potential and prospects as they tend to grow pretty fast in percentage when we start seeing a general bull run in the market.
474  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: October 18, 2018, 10:54:56 AM
This is actually one of my biggest dreams. I'm retired only in my home as a hobby to deal with them. But, unfortunately, we have eliminated those opportunities one by one. And we can not get back either.
it really need time to realize it.many people want to retire and enjoy their live.but it need hard struggle and our sacrifice to do this.
as long as we hard work and smart in cryptocurrency market, i think we could realize all of our dream.in crypto market imposibble is nothing.we could earn money as much as we want.
I do not think I will ever retire completely, retiring would probably mean not to work for money and the idea of not working for more money doesn't suit well for me. No matter how much money I have I am willing to make even more money, not because I am greedy because whenever I make money I do not have to spend it on myself, I do not have much expenses personally and I can live with a frugal life style and retire quite early but whenever I have more and more money I feel like I can do more good in this world and try to improve the world because I existed than not.

Sort of like bill gates, dude is wiping out a huge disease all by himself from the money he donated and worked towards to end, if I can have billions of dollars I would definitely focus on doing something like that. First order of business probably be go talk with venezuelan politicians and get approved for humanitarian help and bring in as much food as possible to those people so they won't starve to death.
475  Economy / Economics / Re: Why all people moan about the price of bitcoin? on: October 18, 2018, 10:21:29 AM
People moan mostly because growth of its price lately is very gradual; after 2017 we expect higher rates, of course, I think many people who bought btc at 10k$+ are really disappointed.
Having a patient mind set is very important. In business, no one should expect back big profits in matter of days and that goes the same for crypto market. There are so many factors, both endogenous and exogenous that can affect your investment and its size so one has to deal with so many things to keep things on track.

This is not that easy to get your investment multiplied except the long term investment that is very much instrumental in imparting big value to your portfolio even you do not deal with the current market abrupt. This has led so many people list their names among the richest people in the crypto market who now have great influence over the market.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: October 18, 2018, 08:51:12 AM
yea , the best thing to do when bitcoin are quite stable is by buying altcoin , for more safe i think buy popoular coin like STR , XRP , LTC etc
I agree. It is hard to stay in bitcoin because it is expensive unlike other altcoin that is more cheaper but some altcoin are worth because they are easy growing and can give good profit even for trading. You have to take opportunity on altcoin when bitcoin is unaffordable at the moment and gain profit from it to invest on others.
I also prefer good, authentic and reliable coins the ones you mentioned here. If you don’t have enough money to invest in bitcoin then you should think about Altcoin investment, because there are thousands of coins in the market and you may be scammed by scammers while projecting new ICO. Never invest in any anonymous Altcoin.
The importance of this very discussion cannot be overlooked. It is the need of the day to be able to distinguish between the good and the bad coins. Of course people will loose money to the scammers until and unless they are able to decide what to invest and when to do so.

Besides, to be on a safe side while investing, one should go for the top coins in the market list regardless of what the price in the market is. This definitely helps avoid the loss that you might otherwise counter by investing in ICO and coins you have no knowledge about. It is the best time to go for these coins which has had a good history.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY on: October 17, 2018, 11:10:57 AM
Blockchain technology is a very unique and beautiful program which was created today but I just realized it could be the solution for corruption which was happening all over the world. The Government works for the public right? So the public should be allowed to view what or where the money goes. It would be nice if we could view the public wallet or government funds and you can view each transactions. The blockchain transactions can be viewed publicly. We are paying taxes for the benefit of our country so it would be nice if this kind of technology will be implemented. What are your thoughts? Could this be possible or not?

PS: These are only my opinion, feel free to delete this thread if it's uninteresting subject. Also, feel free to delete this if someone already created similar topic about this.
All we know that the blockchain technology is made for cryptocurrency only and blockchain technology is the future of the technology I think so. Block chain technology is a unique program that can help the economy of a country to increase and lower the corruption that was happening all over the world, not just one country but the whole world.
Blockchain technology is not all about cryptocurrency only as this is just something that is one part of it all as there are so many other applications of blockchain technology when it comes to every single sector.
Certainly, with the adoption of blockchain technology, it would bring about accountability and transparency which are the two major things lacking in a corrupt system of governance as we all know and if this part can be easily fixed; then, I believe that it can always be of help to some of the developing and less developed areas.

We can see how governments are already trying to see how they can homogenize blockchain technology into the system which would really help even with data in some sectors a lot.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HELP: Hard Drive formatted without wallet backup on: October 17, 2018, 10:38:15 AM
I recently formatted my hard disk but I forgot to backup this one coin that I started mining recently. I only have it's public address now. I don't have the json file or private keys etc.

It was desktop wallet installed in C drive. I didn't delete the partitions.

So what are my options now to recover my balance. Any software that you guys know of ?

You just stop working on that harddisk and switch to other desktop and install data recovery software from online and add the formatted harddisk on the new computer as secondary harddisk and do data recovery of the formatted partition. This way you can recover your wallet files.
This would actually be your best bet at the moment, as in this way, if you are lucky, you may get to recover some of the files you have lost, and get to see your wallet backup.

There are some free driver recovery online though, but it would make a lot of sense to at least buy a very good one that would do a pretty good job for you instead, but depending on the outcome of this, whether it turned out positive or not, that would determine if you have lost it all or not. I have tried it before anyway, using Disk Drill recovery software and it was really effective.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Strategy on: October 17, 2018, 09:53:13 AM
My strategy is to increase the number of Bitcoins I have. Just like you said, the Bitcoin price in the near future has the potential to reach at least 30-40K. That's why you say how much Bitcoin, so much profit.
That is actually the thing and I have been doing this with altcoins over the years, while I still use that chance to hold some altcoins with prospect for the long term anyway.

People always think that this is a market where things would just keep going up and when you start seeing a downtrend, they start whining and complaining about manipulations, about bubbles collapsing, instead of asking themselves, what they really have been doing wrong when it comes to investing.

As long as people tend to discard the mind of trying to understand the space before investing, they will always find it hard to cope in situations like this to even know the opportunity they have.
480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading outside of crypto? on: October 17, 2018, 09:06:01 AM
If you are already used to trading in crypto, then I wouldn't recommend moving over to more traditional routes, sure, there's more stability, but there is also much less potential for short term profit. The traditional stock and forex markets rarely fluctuate by more than 2-3% in a day, and you would need to be lucky to catch those, whereas cryptocurrencies typically fluctuate by at least 1-2% every hour!
Why? The fact you are trading in crypto and doing pretty well if you have a good strategy does not mean, you cannot at least diversify into every other form of investment.

I started trading Forex, and then moved into stocks and now into cryptocurrency but did I say because I have been doing well in Forex, I should not move into these other two areas? No! It is called being versatile and diversifying as well which helps you to even spread your investment risk across board but it is always a good thing to not just only know how to trade effectively, but to also know every single details of the market and the fundamentals of the market you want to be getting into as they really do matter in you doing well.
