61  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [CLOSED] Avalon ASIC chip distribution on: July 04, 2013, 04:11:55 PM
Hey, I am part of batch 1 and I really like this website so far but when I get to Step 2 at the part where I am supposed to sign with my bitcoin address. I believe your checker doesn't check armory signatures. Which are different than bitcoin-qts. I can most definitely send my signed message via pm or email if this will be a problem.

Right, signatures are checked by bitcoind, i.e. if your client is generating signatures in a different format, it won't work. Please check if there is some option in Armory to generate Bitcoin-qt formatted signatures.

If you have a bitcoind running somewhere, you can easily sign the challenge (which is the epoch at request time and therefore unique) with the bitcoind CLI. Otherwise, you could try to generate signatures at brainwallet or create a blockchaininfo Wallet for signing. Note that those online wallets fail signing messages longer than 255 chars, but should work with the short messages we are using.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I think it is acceptable to assume bitcoind as the reference for signing / verifying; it does not help the case if different clients are using incompatible formats.
Thanks zefir for your quick reply. I had no idea you could easily sign for addresses using the brainwallet signing feature. It was no inconvenience at all besides my paranoia making me unplug my ethernet cord before I plugged in my priv key. I have got my account all set up thanks very much.

+1, My rationale as well. Sent DeadTerra pm with all transfer info three days ago but he appears to be away or very busy these days. DeadTerra if you see this. I hope you are okay man.
I think he's swamped trying to get his new security DMS.Mining/selling/purchase getting up and running. Glad to see I'm not the only one with this mindset.

DeaDTerra != Deprived  Wink
I'm retarded. I knew that :|

But since this pass through has over 15,000 shares, does that mean it will receive 3 of those mining boards?
I can answer this part: no. Only 1.
Speaking of which I've asked this a few times in the ASICMINER thread to no avail maybe you can help me here, but is there any update on when board members will actually be receiving these promised boards? When they started selling them I believed they would be arriving any day now or some announcement about it but no. The company is now valued at >100mil$ So I'm kindof curious as to what is causing the delay in rewarding board seats. I bought these as opposed to direct shares so as to get access to a small amount of extra hashrate from the pooled shares and if we aren't going to be getting any hardware I'm considering withdrawing to direct shares so dividends go straight to my bitcoin wallet instead of having to wait on Weexchange/pass through confirmations. (no offense intended DeaDterra I think you've done an excellent job on this passthrough and I've been very pleased owning shares) just don't see the benefit personally without the board member hardware as I'm not planning on selling soon so I don't really need the extra liquidity a passthrough provides.

67  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Graet.Loan - Paying 0.05% interest daily on: June 06, 2013, 12:08:06 AM
Wish you a speedy recovery.  Would like to see some answer to the concerns raised by Deprived.

Thanks.
I hope everything ok his last post was that one. I too would like to see his answers to that.

Why is it that people sell lower than .01/share?  What exactly is the process to get a refund at face value?  Are they just people that want their bitcoin ASAP?
Supposedly the process to refund is just to contact Graet himself and trade him shares for btc. Though with his surgery and stuff lately people are probably selling under .01 because they don't want to wait for him and they just want their BTC asap.
68  Economy / Goods / Re: Anonymous PLN Mastercard cards on: May 30, 2013, 11:05:29 PM
no anonymous cards
the activation of the card on the website you need to specify the name surname and PESEL

Haven't activated mine yet. If that's true this is disheartening as I don't have a PESEL living in USA.

Ive been turning the idea in my head of creating a Stock and ETF gateway to facilitate these trades.

Any thoughts please share
I would be interested in using a service like that. As most of my money is in btc and it's currently impossible to diversify a portfolio outside of btcstocks/btc without converting to fiat first.
70  Economy / Goods / Re: For sale: Valcambi CombiBar 50g BREAKABLE GOLD on: May 29, 2013, 01:50:10 PM
I'm sorry, but are you guys crazy? Just the gold value of this (I calculated using VERY conservative gold spot and bitcoin price figures) is worth 17.37BTC (@129/BTC). Plus these are awesome so they carry a good premium. OP is nice, I would feel insulted by an offer for 5.x bitcoins that someone mentioned.
eh, I'm personally very bullish on btc thus my really low offer. I can easily see the offer being declined though.
71  Economy / Goods / Re: For sale: Valcambi CombiBar 50g BREAKABLE GOLD on: May 29, 2013, 02:49:32 AM
Do you guys have access to the silver combibars? I'd love to nab a few of those if you did.
72  Economy / Goods / Re: For sale: Valcambi CombiBar 50g BREAKABLE GOLD on: May 28, 2013, 07:58:49 PM
We are looking for a trustworthy escrow as well.  Let us know who some of the best escrows are on the forums.
John K. is pretty much the most trusted escrow on the forums. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=141672.0
I'll offer 15btc for one. These seem really cool.

Ordered 2 from DeanC. He handled and shipped the cards to me phenomenally quickly. Thanks!

no real ecigs?
I don't have an ecig thus why I'm trying to sell this stuff. Was ordering stuff for my vaporizer and they accidentally sent me these.
76  Economy / Goods / 1.8 ohm Coil for ViVi and Butterscotch Ecig Liquid on: May 22, 2013, 09:02:48 PM
Got these by mistake and the seller told me to just keep them so was hoping I could just sell them to someone else who might use them.
The ecig liquid is butterscotch flavored 50ml with 24mg of nicotine (second strongest)

and the atomizer is this

Would prefer to sell both for around 14$ in btc or ~.108btc, can either ship FCM Parcel post for around 2$(+.0153btc) or Priority with tracking for around 6$(+.046btc)

I don't know how to put the price static to USD so btc price listed here may be subject to change, I priced it at $130 a coin

It's a small trade but if you want escrow if you're willing to pay the fee/tip I don't mind using John K.

Thanks,
Tolan77

Hey guys, I posted a video about ASICMiner shares breaking 2BTC/share. It has received a lot of positive feedback, if you able, I suggest you go check it out Smiley

78  Economy / Securities / WTT G.SDICE shares for any type of ASICMINER shares on: May 18, 2013, 04:47:43 PM
Considering converting some of my SDICE investment into ASICMINER shares.Thought it'd be easier to just do a direct trade rather than sell them first.

Offering the following rates
945 G.SDICE shares : 1 ASICMINER share or Passthrough share BTCT.Co or Bitfunder, (as long as you can direct send shares on btct.co)
9 G.SDICE shares : 1 micro ASICMINER Share (such as tat's or havelocks don't care where as long as you can transfer ownership to me)

Feel free to make a different offer but I probably won't budge too much from this.I'm looking for around 5 regular shares or 500 micro shares maybe more if I have some good trades
I don't have a ton of rep yet so if are a hero member or something I won't mind trading first as long as you can prove you own them.Or if you guys can think of a way this can be escrowed that'd be great, just don't know if John K. can escrow bitfunder stocks. Will only trade max 945 shares at a time without escrow.

Thanks
79  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Items from Amazon shipped to Canada >> you receive bitcoin on: May 17, 2013, 11:15:51 PM
It's a small team from florida. They launched a few months ago and as far as I can tell they've been pretty legit so far. Reddit.com/r/bitspend has some more info and their customer support teams pretty good so if you have any questions you could probably shoot them an email and get an answer pretty quick.
80  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Items from Amazon shipped to Canada >> you receive bitcoin on: May 17, 2013, 10:42:56 PM
You could use bitspend.com's anonymous reshipping option. They'll buy an item for you, receive it and then reship it to you. https://bitspend.net/price go to anonymous ordering tab and just mention that when ordering. I've made a few orders from bitspend and they've all been great.
