4321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Slow gains and stability on: June 20, 2017, 06:23:59 AM
Usually stable prices are good symptoms for another rally. I do see markets are gaining momentum for another massive rally hence I am not expecting prices to stay calm till August for positive out come for scalability as markets are known to react for future events, we can expect those to happen from two month before onward too.

This is mostly true, and have some speculation on August or September for some bigger changes in price. For next month or two expect to be stable price. Usually in this time it is stable after everything that is happening.

So we wont experience any change that big for next month or two. Seem like it will be another big gathering and this may be good and bad for price, just hope it wont be dump.

Looks like all anticipated the upcoming event in august. Yes i hope it isnt that bad for us.
So for in two months we're expecting the slowly but surely movement of bitcoin and that's nice.
But for me personally, I want some big pump one of these days for us to grab the chance like that. Convert btc to fiat or sell it. Then it would go back again from its steady price. Hope that will happen just for one day. Oh im really dreaming.  Kiss
4322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: June 19, 2017, 03:06:32 PM
Currently I am not holding that many coins. So I am keeping them in my online wallet. If my holdings get considerably bigger (i.e. more than BTC1), then I will consider moving them to a hardware wallet such as Trezor. Keeping large amounts of coins in online wallets is not 100% safe. Also, there are a lot of wallet robberies going on right now.

Of course, keeping your coins in an online wallet is like a bait to hackers. If they hacked that all your earning will dissapear like a bubble.
Keeping coins in an offline wallet is just keeping your money in the bank. Its more like a savings account. Much safer and secured.
But for me when its get a high pump I would immediately convert it to fiat and save them in the bank. You can't tell that your rich if your money is still numbers.
4323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: June 19, 2017, 02:56:00 PM
I'm sure one days bitcoin will make banks disappear and take over the function of fiat money.

Wow! Really huh?
How come is that? Even though bitcoin is popular today and widely use in the internet world its not enough to say that.
Some banks run by the private sector some are by government, do you think they let that happen?
Just a like a bubble that disappear? Of course they dont. Banks are well establish enough to maintain its financial status.
Think twice.
4324  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Wallet on: June 19, 2017, 07:41:52 AM
Already discussed many times. The better question is which bitcoin wallet is most secure?

The most secure wallets are the ones that are offline. Although some online wallets are also secure but you should be careful in choosing one. Some online wallets had manipulated by third parties so your bitcoin is not really safe, one of those is coinbase.
In the other hand, when using offline wallets try the electrum, it is a desktop wallet. So from the word itself, " offline ", nobody will be able to tract or hack your account. It can be downloaded to your pc, phone or tablet.

Yes I agree with that.
I use both online and offline wallets. Online wallet for my everyday transaction and offline wallet for my savings.
Its better you do as savings account the offline wallets, not prone to hackers and other evil doings.
It also a backup one. Same as you, I love using electrum. Others should try it too.
4325  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: June 19, 2017, 07:26:32 AM
Yes, price of bitcoin have matter, because if the price of bitcoin had no matter why a lot of people were wants to earn bitcoin? Because they want to exchange into real money.

All aspects that make bitcoin, matters.
Especially the value. The value determines the price.
We always look after the price. How far it would go. Its pump and dump.
As today's price is decreasing, its good to buy now for us to make a big profit.
4326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 16, 2017, 04:32:45 PM
I honestly see no other reason why cash is better than bitcoins other than the fact that it's accepted by everyone. You have cash, you can buy things. You have bitcoins? You'd have to spend hours finding an online seller that accepts bitcoin. You're lucky if you have one in your country. You're even luckier if there's one near your place.
4327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 16, 2017, 04:24:23 PM
Honestly, a lot. It even annoys me when someone comes to me just so he can make an argument that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. I just want to disappear into thin air whenever that happens and it has happened to me a lot of time. You know that guy have never done enough research so you know you can never get a valid argument from him.

Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular because I introduced it to a lot of people on my area and some of them are already earning money. Some people want to ask me directly about bitcoins and have me explain it to them but I don't have the time for such thing. They can just research about it like how I did to learn about bitcoins.
4328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: June 16, 2017, 04:19:36 PM
Even rocks are worth collecting. The more bitcoins that you have, the more money you can get from it when you sell them. What I really like about collecting bitcoins is that as the time pass while you're collecting more and more bitcoins, you're also holding them.

Most people spend their time binge-watching stuffs on the Internet. Might as well do something better than that and earn bitcoins. It's good to have some pocket money.
4329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What goods have you got from bitcoin results? on: June 16, 2017, 04:13:26 PM
Good result so far is the increasing value of bitcoin. I invested some money on bitcoins last year and it has tripled ever since. That sounds like some sort of an advertisement to some website but it is not. People are assuming that bitcoin is a ponzi scam because of the good results that we're having.

I also found new friends because of bitcoin. We're all part of the whole bitcoin community. I have people to talk to about bitcoins even though all of them are just reachable through the Internet.
4330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: June 16, 2017, 04:08:37 PM
I honestly don't think that bitcoin would ever die. Bitcoin will always be there. When people migrate to another coin, bitcoin will still be there. Bitcoin will not disappear at all. It will always have some userbase although that can decrease dramatically when people move to a better coin.

Anybody know which date hard fork is scheduled?
The new algorithm will be activated in the block 149248. ≈8 July.

Does it mean we have to change the miner again?

Hello Experts,
I heard that DCR may hit $75 Once they release V1..Is that true ?

It is difficult to say. If it does, it will be top five coin.
4333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What motherboard to replace asrock h81 btc? on: March 15, 2017, 07:28:15 AM
ASRock H97 Anniversary

I use that board, working well.
4334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Ethereum Miner with reduced DevFee v3.4 on: February 25, 2017, 11:41:16 AM
claymore does good work.

what is fair price?

he did lower fees if you use ssl socket.

he could go a little lower  maybe 1 %

he was at 2%
if you use ssl socket he is at 1.5%

if he dropped to 1%   this thread and others like it  might die.

if he drops to .5%  this thread and others like it would die for sure.

Agreed here, fortunately for those interested the latest 8.0 version now has a -nofee option and it mines a little slower for not paying the fee.

For those that are just against paying the developer fee should just use that option rather than run the risk of using an additional application to try to defeat the developer fee in a now out of date version.

I think that is a good idea. It is better to use the original application.
4335  Economy / Speculation / Re: HUGE Drop coming! on: January 04, 2017, 08:09:18 PM
Drop coming, No No. It still grows up ahead. How can we brake the increase of bitcoin?
We can not and can not .The chinese people are very rich and They buy bitcoin without seeing the price.
that's so lovely, guys.

That is right. It will drop, but not huge.
4336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: December 20, 2016, 08:27:23 AM
If the price of the ZCash is the same as now, there is no need to buy the faster cards as they will not ROI.

ROI ? Haha that never stopped a good miner. Good miners know that when the singularity comes any bitcoin they hold from the sale of zec/eth/whatever mining will be worth its weight in unobtanium.

~LOL~

that only true with bitcoin, all other are bound to die eventually

vega will not change anything if not very efficient and much faster than a 1070

we need a pump for better profit no faster gpu

It has to be more efficient than the 1070 for miners to buy.
4337  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: October 13, 2016, 08:19:45 AM
Earning living with bitcoin is good if the price or value of bitcoin will not going down, if you are working in good company bitcoin is good to you as other source of income to increase your monthly or semi monthly income.

The best to do it to earn the bitcoin as a percentage of your salary. You can just hold those coins for long time.
4338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: September 18, 2016, 07:55:29 AM
Is this a good one?

http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/4096MB-XFX-Radeon-RX-480-RS-Aktiv-PCIe-3-0-x16--Retail-_1118478.html

sorry for too much dumb questions  Roll Eyes but I want to order 6x GPUS and dont want any surprise  Grin

I am going to use Asrock H81 Pro BTC as motherboard and the ethosdistro for OS.
The specs is good so i think it profitable.. but you should still monitor the electricity cost because this one is not well know use. and many people site are giving recommended GPU to mine altcoin or ethereum.. some ethereum calculator have list of GPU.

I do not know how efficient the Rx 480 is for other Algo. What if ETH goes into POS in next year? You may not get back your ROI. It is just my opinion. Coz we need to measure a lot of things before  start mining to make a profit.

The RX 480 is not as good as the 1070 for other algorithms. It is even worse than the R9 nano. But it is cheaper.
4339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyday where the price hasn't exploded to the moon yet is celebration day on: September 04, 2016, 05:19:57 PM
OP has the right mindset. Long term holders that take advantage of the rest of the idiots that still don't see the obvious potential in Bitcoin will keep loading their pockets with cheap BTC. In 10 years they will be bitcoin moguls with only 2 figure wallets.

The bitcoin is lower than expected. So it is good for me as I can buy more bitcoin when the set amount of fiat.

Unfortunately, the bitcoin price has risen 5% in the last few days. That means I can buy only 95% of the original plan.
4340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everyday where the price hasn't exploded to the moon yet is celebration day on: August 20, 2016, 03:05:29 PM
Today is the celebration day. The bitcoin price dropped 20% at some point as the largest exchange was hacked.

The bitcoin price has recovered since then. The price is trading around $560 now. I think it will rise to $600 very soon.
