Manchester City became the fourth team from England to fail to win in the round of 16 against Leipzig last night. We know previously that there were Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool who also failed to win in this round. This result made me quite surprised that throughout the match Manchester City rarely got chances and they only scored goals through passing errors from opposing defenders, while Leipzig actually played quite well by scoring goals from a corner kick and being greeted by a header from Gvardiol. The result was a draw until the last minute and now the two teams have to fight again to get the aggregate points.

Pep Guardiola for 90 minutes also didn't make any substitutions, that's actually very unfortunate considering there should have been a refresher on the players so they could change the direction of the game more. Yesterday matches was full of surprises, Arsenal securing a late winner when I’ve thought that they will only draw, Liverpool scoring two goals before Newcastle got a red card and could score anymore goal against two men Newcastle, Manchester city missed chances and ended up sharing point with Nottingham forest.
Today Manchester United hopefully will secure a point against Leicester city to keep their trophy hope alive.

It looks like a really easy game for Barcelona and that truly is because Barcelona form is perfect and most likely will be a win with a lot of goals scored.The only "worry" I have is that just a couple of years ago when Barcelona was also in top form both games against Cadiz ended 1-1 and those were the biggest surprise results of that Barcelona of that time.Of course is not going to happen in this game but Barcelona maybe a bit tired from the Europa League game and everything can happen although I like many others think that they will crush Cadiz and won't make an error,they need to widen the gap again to Real Madrid.

The result of this match surprised everyone. Because Lyon has been in very good form recently. They have beaten the likes of Lens and Lille in their last two matches. But their poor performance against Auxerre was not expected. Lyon's performance in this match was very poor. And this is why they are defeated. Lyon had only 6 shots in the entire match. They gave more importance to ball possession than attacking in this match. And this was one of the reasons for their defeat. But Auxerre was a bit lucky. They scored the first goal in the 51st minute from a penalty chance. And scored another goal just two minutes later to make it 2-1.

I read on the net today a statement by Messi's father and his agent which states that they(father & his agent) are not sure Messi will be returning to Barcelona if he leaves PSG. I'm also not sure what his next move will be because Lionel Messi has not made his intentions known, we just have to wait until he ends his contract with PSG to find out.

Until now there has been no opponent who has made it difficult for Napoli again after Napoli's defeat by Inter. Napoli also have a highly anticipated game in the Champions League. But before that, Napoli had the closest match in Serie A, namely the Sassuolo vs Napoli match.

Real Madrid is a very experienced team in the Champions League. And Madrid boss Ancelotti is very experienced. He has a very good understanding of the opponent's weaknesses. And adjust his match strategy accordingly. We have seen erratic performances from Madrid in the last few matches. But with the return of Benzema's squad in the last match, Madrid's performance improved. They won quite easily against Elche. As Benzema is now with the Madrid squad. So I will definitely bet Madrid to win this match. The condition of the Liverpool team is now deplorable. In this situation, it is almost impossible for them to win against an experienced team like Madrid.
