1  Economy / Speculation / Re: Institutional buyers are not backing down. More Pump? on: April 19, 2021, 07:52:31 PM
I hate to say this but there might be a Bear to come this 2nd quarter.

Do you think this isn't the bear yet that you are talking about? Bitcoin's price has already fallen from almost $65,000 to around $53,000. That is more than $10,000 lost. Does that not look a bear to you? Or is it exactly the bear that you are talking about?

Don't hate to say a bear is coming. Crypto, just as others, is always a bear and bull story. It is not bad for the bears to come pay a visit. That is a signal for us all to start buying cheap. Bears are always welcome. You just have to appreciate their presence and do the most appropriate thing to do.

Generally when you see $10 Billion in liqudations in one day it usually means that its a temporarily dip. What is more worrying is if we have a slow grind down day by day. What happened yesterday was an over exaggeration to the India banning bitcoin news.

Why did it fall so much? Well look at how many people were over leverage. I think the funding for the Dec 2021 futures was over 25% which is crazy. The OI kept going higher and higher and hence its no surprise that so many people got liquidated.

The news about India banning Bitcoin is old. I don't know if the big dip very recently has something to do with it. It might have contributed a little. It must have something to do with the new FUD about money laundering. I don't understand why it was treated as if it was a big deal when it was also an old issue.

But we are now on the rebound. The price of Bitcoin has quickly recovered from the bottom and is now on its way to full recovery to $60,000.
India, Turkey, - we have heard that news but I don't think this is the main reason of the massive liquidations in recent days. Some say it has to do with that unfounded tweet that US Treasury is chasing some entity for crypto laundering.

But yeah, BTC seems to be green now, everything is clearer, the news was obviously a FUD, market is back and has rebounded to $55k or more. So another imminent break out might happen, so let see how it pan out.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC's crisis time is coming on: April 19, 2021, 07:32:11 PM
In recent days, the trading volume of many DOGE exchanges has ahead of  BTC.BTC's market share is decreasing and its value will be revalued
What does DOGE has something to do with BTC though?

DOGE was obviously a pump and dump coin, you sayin that BTC will have the same scheme or fraudulent practice? Doesn't matter if the market share of BTC is declining, sooner or later after some other altcoins has been dump, wise investors are going to shift to BTC.

And if you haven't notice BTC has always been surpassing ATH month after month.

Bet with $35,000 in a bet just insane, he even won almost $950,000 by doing that.

Whoa, a million bucks! That takes quite a bit of confidence.

All in a day's work.  Grin

Yeah, a million with just one bet, that's really insane.

I think that's not only confidence, but  extremely very lucky as well. You have a deep pocket and then you are lucky, result is more winnings. Again for us regular gamblers, our jaw will drop and be nervous betting $35k, but for this whales, just a regular day in the office.  Grin
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 19, 2021, 10:43:51 AM

DIsappointing to see an MMA fighter just fall like that without even trying to fight back with all his might to win it.

Obviously, Ben Askren does not know how to box he only knows wrestling and MMA but not boxing, he is just all talks, all are these are dramas and when it comes to the real fight he did not deliver, this is a career-ending match for Ben Askren, I don't think any promotion will get his service, he blew it away very badly, end of the road for Ben Askren, and Paul's journey continues.
Or he probably take a dive in this fight, or maybe the referee is also involved.

I think his career has ended already when Masvidal knock him out, maybe someone will get him though to be knockout again, so it's easy money for him. For Paul, expect him to fight other non boxer MMA and then setup himself for a huge pay day with Floyd in the future.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 19, 2021, 10:23:04 AM
There's still a good news on that injury.

https://www.nbcsports.com/edge/basketball/nba/player/29277/kevin-durant
Quote
The good news is that the initial diagnosis of a bruise suggests KD avoided any major damage, and for now we'll assume he's day-to-day. Jeff Green and Alize Johnson should benefit if KD is forced to miss time, with more PF minutes also available for Blake Griffin

I hope he can come back in the playoffs healthy and strong, injury has been the problem of the Nets but Durant is consistent this year.
For sure Durant will come back in the playoffs, actually he really needs to be back in uniform to help the Nets. Against Miami, they really missed him, Irving is not enough to keep them winning against a tough team like Miami.

Jeff Green though was able to help, but he only scored 8 points. Griffin has extended minutes as well, but I think he is still not in the groove.
6  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC reached ATH 62K - are we on another milestone, 100K? on: April 17, 2021, 03:12:25 AM
Definitely, bitcoin's fundamentals has change a lot from the last bull cycle, so this massive run will continue and maybe we won't see or at least the 4 year cycle might not be applicable in this rally.
This bull run will continue; okay, but  after that no one will book profits? I am sure not all buyers are not long term holders. Definitely they will prefer to see quick profits rather than holding for years and waiting for another halving to happen. So, there are less possibilities for this cycle to be different from the previous ones. I guess there could be some minor changes but definitely most institutions will pull back their funds so that they will not be late on booking profits. So, bitcoin's cycle will happen as usual.
For sure there will be some of us who are going to book profits in this bull run and will just wait for the next one. That is just the nature of the market, otherwise it won't be healthy in the long end. As for this so called four year cycle, do we really have one or it is just coincidence or it is just based on the halving itself? Fundamentals might change but every four year halving remains.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 17, 2021, 02:56:44 AM
It's not the end though for Crawford, there are a lot of good welterweights out there that he can fight barring boxing politics and manager's feud.

Pacquiao is really different that's why most boxers would like to fight him, Crawford as a boxer than in order for him to make good money, he need to fight a popular boxer and that is none other than Manny Pacquioa. If he will not fight Manny then he should fight Spence, that if both parties will agree.
If I were him, I'll choose Pacquiao than Spence or any other boxer that are available to box.

Refusing to fight Pacquiao is like rejecting a huge opportunity that's rare to come to his lifetime and boxing career.

I do think that Manny Pacquiao has still some steam left for him to be able to do hard boxing in his age. I also think that any fighter might want to deal with Pacquiao because it is a money making machine when it comes to fighting the boxer. Much more so if you are able to beat the boxer. But right now the priorities are different with Manny especially he now has businesses and a political career to take care of. Being tagged as an absentee politician is a serious matter here and it can make or break someone who wants to achieve higher positions.
It's not a question on whether Manny can pull the trigger, definitely he can still fight the best out there.

It's the question on when is this fight going to happen, so maybe this is the contention, besides the money that why we haven't heard any news yet. And that's why for sure Crawford might be thinking of plan B if this fight is not going to push this year. Or he can sit it out this year, wait for his contract to end this October (if I'm not mistaken) and then chase Manny after that.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 17, 2021, 02:18:42 AM
I watched the match only until the second set between Rublev vs Nadal, Rublev played really well especially in the first set, but when he lost in the second set I thought he would also lose in the third set because Nadal was able to find his best again, but when see the final score is sure to make the bettors who choose Rublev will be happy because the odds for him when the match is quite high.
Hopefully, someone will be able to do the same thing at the French Open, beating Nadal, isn't it very boring when we see him has to continue to win French Open.
French Open will be different though, perhaps Nadal is just starting to get going and warm up his body. So still a win-win for him even though he lost, he can make some adjustments and going the a tournament wherein he is the king, maybe we will see the best version of Nadal and let this be a motivation again.

What's your prediction in the finals?

Will it be Tsitsipas vs Rublev?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season ending in may ? on: April 16, 2021, 03:20:18 AM
Dear all

Now alt season started. Lot of coins specially 2018 ath coins now going for new ath. You can see xrp is moving like roket.

2018 how long alt season survived ?

I am currently holding aion coin. Its really blulish at the momement.

Experiemce tell me , when this alt season going to over  may or june ?
Bu there are more experience altcoin investors that will tell you that maybe the altcoin season might not end this May or June. The market is very bullish up to this point and if you haven't noticed, it has slice the big bitcoin dominance and so it's a sign that the altcoin has just started to pick up things and this bull run could take us up to the end of the year.

If I'm in your shoes, I wouldn't worry about the end of altcoin bull run, it's better to just take advantage of the current bullish trend pick up some good and solid altcoins and then wait for it till the end of the year price.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 16, 2021, 03:04:39 AM
Playing in the NBA isn't just exercise, it's extremely high intensity. Especially with the pace the game is played at nowadays.
And also the training that they get from time to time. Their body is their capital as they get into the NBA business as the main players and athletes.
He's 35 years old and I think that's still young but in the league, that's no longer young and near to retirement age.
There are big men who last in the NBA and there are that have been taken away because of injuries (case for example Greg Ogden).

But in case of Aldridge he has a fairly decent career himself when he was in Portland, and maybe his body didn't take as he is getting old wherein it is a fast phased now. For sure he has taken care of his body, that's why the news was a shocker to all of us.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 16, 2021, 02:38:10 AM

Well he was way too ambitious I suppose but I think he has the power and the guts to challenge Pacquiao and I think that's a good thing to fight your idol. I wouldn't be that surprised if ever Garcia will won different divisions too. I think those division Welterweight and Lightweight where Garcia would dominate.

He is too ambitious to fight Pacquiao when his promoters keep protecting him against Gervonta Davis and Haney, he should be fighting Davis or Haney first before thinking of a mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao, there's really nothing in Garcia's resume that will match Pacquiao resume, the questions is whom he beat, there's no decent name in Garcia's resume that will pop up, his just an over hype internet sensation.
He will be protected by Oscar because he is the only cash cow he got, Canelo already left him. And previously, Garcia's to the public and says that he is not satisfied on how Oscar is managing his career. They thought that they are throwing him against a tough Duno, but he knock him down so the dispute has settled down. But since Canelo left, I don't know I have the feeling that he will also left Oscar because Canelo and Ryan are so tight.

But in any case, it will be Haney first, at least Haney doesn't have the power, pillow fisted so it will be easy for Ryan to win. And forgot about Manny, Pacquiao has other biggest fish in the welterweight division to chase.

A weird loss for Đoković today, I did not expect such a bad performance from him. He said afterwards that this was one of the worst matches he played in the last few years.
He admitted after the game that he really feels awful as Evans handled Djokovic his first lost in 2021. It just shows that Djokovic surface is not clay though.

Fun fact - this was their first h2h match and Đoković is 33 and Evans 30 years old. Not something you see very often and Evans has a rare opportunity to finish his career with a positive score against a player who beat all the records Grin
Another fun fact - 0-7 against top 5 opponents

Lost on clay for 10 consecutive games dating back to 2017.

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2021/apr/15/dan-evans-stuns-novak-djokovic-with-straight-sets-win-at-monte-carlo-masters

I didn't check the odds but for sure the ML for Evans is huge. And I'm not sure if tennis bettors give him a chance.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: April 16, 2021, 01:32:32 AM
I can confirm betnoni has sent my 745 EUR withdrawal with BTC. They sent 0.01258029 BTC which is 658 EUR. What a "great" site.  Angry

That was high. Someone here also withdraws in BTC and fees are around $17 on the time that the user transacts.

Did you already do some computation like computing it on the rate where you request for withdrawal? No idea about when or what rate or time Betnomi converts fiat to crypto during withdrawals. Next time use other cryptos for much lesser fees in return.
When I played and withdraw from Betnomi, I first talk to their support and ask what will be the fees for a Bitcoin withdrawal. And to be fair, the support tells me the the fees is currently so high that he gave me other options to withdraw.

So it's better to check with the support first and then withdraw with the lowest option like XRP.

Its not advisable to withdraw using BTC here since the fee is set to high, I don't know if this one could be fix and maybe they should allow there user to set their own preffered fee so that the user can set according to what they like. But for now better to use the coin you said since this is more ideal to use upon withdrawal and deposit.
Well there could be gamblers who are "bitcoin wallet only", so I would say that they are going to withdraw and then complain later. But I would say that they should learn how to used other crypto wallets as well as Betnomi offers a lot.

There are online gambling that let's you set your preferred fee, but the thing is that it can get stuck and you will be frustrated when you have to wait.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: OK my apology Bitcoin is not a PONZI but I still call it a huge bubble on: April 15, 2021, 12:06:45 PM
Sounds like the OP is on a slow path to understanding Bitcoin. Thought it was a ponzi, realized that's wrong. Think it is in a bubble, soon enough he'll realize that rather than a bubble it is very cheap right now. Soon enough he'll realize people would be desperate to turn back time and buy in a $60,000-something.

You forgot to mention that he thought Satoshi Nakamoto was actually Steve Jobs and all the coding was done by Steve Wozniak. Also, he wonders if he can mine a block with a desktop computer and that diffuculty should be reset to 1.

And a few more stupid questions.
Lol, I haven't read his post but it looks like he really need to study what bitcoin is and what it is not a ponzi scheme. Of course, it will bubble but the thing is that bitcoin can go and recover again after the bubble cycle. I would say that it very simple to understand bitcoin, unless he wants to go on the technical aspects. But majority of us are very happy that we have discovered it and just thanks Satoshi with that (no need to unravel him as well because we can't).
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Bernard Madoff dies in prison. A 20 year long Ponzi on: April 15, 2021, 11:11:07 AM
Good Riddance. I remember this as many have fallen for his Ponzi scheme and his name is now synonymous with that term, as he mastermind the biggest ever in history. And yes, he fronted himself very well that's why no one has suspected that he is running fraud.

And then the banks as well colluded with him, just because they are making money as well to Madoff's deposit. And then should be a lessons for majority of us, he is offering high returns, (which we all know is a sign of scams).
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 15, 2021, 10:33:25 AM
Let's hope this fight will be realize, that's the first step then we will start with our speculation. As a fan in boxing, we have our differnet opinion on this fight, some are bias because they are a fan of either Crawcord or Pacquiao, but that's what makes this particular match more exciting as people think both fighters have equal chance of winning.

LOL... still there is no confirmation related to the fight. Brian McIntryre (trainer to Crawford) was hopeful of getting a confirmation this week, but the Pacquaio team hasn't yet agreed to the terms and conditions. They need some time to organize the fight and so I can say that if it is not confirmed within the next two weeks, then the plans for 5th June is not going to be realized. On the other hand, Crawford is hopeful of getting at least two fights this year on PPV.

Something to wait, Pacquiao team after reviewing everything will respond then we will know the rest.

The final announcement whether the fight will realize on it's target date still rely with the response coming from team Pacquiao, it seems
that Crawford camp is more on finding him PPV matchs. Looks like they are after on the  money side, best while he's still young and capable in taking each available fight for him.
So the ball is now on Pacquiao's side? I'm sure they will respond to the terms if they see fit. Otherwise we won't see this fight or at least Pacquiao not fighting this year because he is too busy.

It's not the end though for Crawford, there are a lot of good welterweights out there that he can fight barring boxing politics and manager's feud.

18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 15, 2021, 09:23:42 AM
I hope you did not put a bet on the Nets ML, yes that was attractive but they loss in this game. Irving and Embiid are the top scorers from both teams but you can expect which team will win because Nets are short handed not having Durant and Harden.

I save my ass on that attractive odds but didn't bet on them. Short-handed but still a close game by the Nets.

Save my ass too on that -8 handicap for the Nets. I also hesitate to bet on that line as I know Sixers will likely win but I doubt they can cover that large spread knowing the Nets without their superstars did some surprising win before so what if at least Kyrie Irving is there.

Sixers now hold the top record on the East. How long everyone thinks they can sustain it?

They actually hold the number 1 before Nets took over, so probably if Durant and Harden will come back playing, Nets will again reclaim the number 1 and might probably enjoy that rank for awhile, injury is the only problem for nets now but they'll all be healthy soon.
And with that win, Sixers breaks the tie-breaker and will be the top seed (if ever they have identical records) entering the playoffs. Irving try to carry his team, but Joel and Ben really played very well in the closing minutes and Joel seal it with a crucial 2 free throws.

So if will be difficult for the Nets to reclaim the top spot, they needed everyone healthy and Sixers on a losing streak.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 14, 2021, 11:28:53 AM
I feel like this is a downgrade to what Garcia hopes to fight and I find it stupid that the Garcia's wishes didn't come to fruition. Fortuna might give a decent fight but I don't think that we are going to see any good odds since Garcia is going to be a favorite between the two. I hope that this fight is going to be entertaining at the least.
I wouldn't say it's a downgrade, he needs not to rush things and fight the champions in this division. They are still young and eventually they will have to face each other. But with the pandemic still around and boxing fans are not yet allowed or at least controlled, it doesn't make sense for them to fight because the money will not there.

Like Lopez, he will be fighting his mandatory, George Kambosos, Haney facing Linares, and we might hear Gervonta fighting another name this year.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BNB is at it's peak price? on: April 14, 2021, 10:54:52 AM
Wanna know that should i hold my investment or do day by day trading. And now its at 500$/BNB. Convert them or keep them and wait for pump?

If you are looking for short-term profit then it's good to sell now. It already losed its steam yesterday when it hits running from $550 all the way up to $640 and I think that will be the ATH for now together with its upcoming quarterly burn. But if you see it as your long term investment, bnb has still a lot to grow. I've noticed that everytime an upcoming token burn is near, its price is pumping hard in a week. The coin also has a lot of utilities in their BSC which makes it really good to hold.
Make sense to take profits from time to time, it's back to $574 from it's all time high of almost $640. I think it already encountered a selling pressure. But for long term holders, specially if they bought it at 2 digits, they definitely going long here. And their next target is $1000. I know it's doable but it might take some time though. Yes, BSC has a lot of utilities, specially if we trade on Binance right now, and as long as Ethereum has it's problem with fees, BNB's price will increase.
