1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: March 21, 2021, 10:10:29 PM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.

Choosing your coins to invest with can be difficult to determine since you're a newbie, so I recommend those asset that can be rest assured profitable for your future gains. Always decide to have long term goals for xrp, doge, neo, trx and of course bitcoin and eth. These specific coins will make your $200 become 5 times capable to reach once another pump season will happen.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many coin in circulation on: March 19, 2021, 10:33:51 AM
over time, a lot of coins will disappear

That's what happened in 2017 bull run also. There were many coins which were in top 10 in 2017 but those are not avaible in 2021.
Only the good projects coins will survive long term while rest of the coins will just disappear as no one will buy the shitcoins and there will no demand for them.

Indeed, all investors from those shitcoins turn away because of the long bearish market of altcoins. Fears of missing in out made them out of control of their anxiety, that's why a good project turns out to be shitcoins nowadays. Hopefully, what happened last 2017 will be back this year and so on and new waves of productive project will come our ways then earn more lucky profit soon.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell Altcoins on: March 18, 2021, 01:20:20 PM
Hi guys,

a question which i had discussed with some of my friends before:

If you were invested heavy in alts but rather light in btc lets say 30% BTC / 70% alts you made a good profit in dollar.
BUT i have the feeling i wasted so much BTC to buy Alts and right now BTC has surpassed many of them by far.

Do you think it would be wise to sell some Alts for BTC right now?
Or is BTC dominance to high?

Really interested in your thoughts!

Kind regards.

Definitely it's going to be tough decisions to make right now, since bitcoin struggles to rise while on top value right now. That's better to take more time to grow your alts before deciding when to sell all of it. By the time, when you fail on that specific decisions you might miss the opportunity to earn those potential profit. So don't rush, analyze what's best for your asset and don't forget to read every updates.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on: March 18, 2021, 09:37:38 AM
So I bought some Ethereum for £1070 a few days ago and it is now worth £1326. Would now be a good time to sell for a small profit?

I am investing more long term in Bitcoin but wanted to trade a bit on smaller coins i.e Ethereum etc.

Choosing long term with ethereum is also a good alternative while btc was still at stable price right now. But you're choice is somehow difficult if your don't have any other profit source or a job that will be used for your daily spending. I suggest that, when holding eth coins or any tokens associated with erc20, always secure a stable funds in order to sustain with cryptocurrency investments.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Shitcoins to Mine? on: March 17, 2021, 11:23:14 PM
I don't think shitcoins from the old times would be good enough to care with most of our effort, because as of today traders is often looking after with bitcoin and eth mining. We will just waste our most precious time over, and what I recommend is to secure your money and divert your investment on reliable coins that has potential instead of shitcoins that has gone undervalued.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Exodus Wallet Question on: March 16, 2021, 10:43:20 PM
If I end up using Exodus wallet to manage BTC and XRP, but one day, Exodus decides to get out of the business and shutdown, will their wallet still work?  From what I can tell their wallet seems to be a hybrid personal wallet but requires you to be online to function.  Is the need to function driven due to the need to sync with the blockchain and if yes, does it sync with nodes on the network or does it need to sync with its master node that it manages that could become offline if it goes out of business.

Make sure to have a back-up of your wallet seed phrase if you have secured for its safety reason. Don't ingnore this simple methods of preventions, because you might have the assurance that your asset will be recovered when a device will be lost or electronically damaged. Once you can transfer your funds to other wallet like, trust wallet of whatsoever hardware wallet it automatically sync if you're connected online.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WINk coin listed at binance on: March 14, 2021, 07:50:15 AM
I see, that's one of reason why Wink's price pumped.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/wink/ according to Coinmarketcap, it's at rank 344. But with very huge total supply (994 billion coin) i doubt it will worthy to HODL for long term. I would suggest to sell your coin immediatelly when you have made some profit from this investment with your $99

I'm sure this guy could make good profit once this coin reach at least $0.01 from current price today. With the huge total supply, I'd also wanted to sell if I owned at least 200k quantity of wink coin, then exit happily. You won't regret once you're not missing out a chance to gain sustainable profit from $99 rolled up to five times or even greater.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum & Bitcoin on: March 13, 2021, 09:24:43 PM
Hey,

Just wondering what people think about the current price of Ethereum and Bitcoin? I wanted to buy some more of each but obviously the price is quite high - record highs in fact! Are we expecting for another dip i.e a better time to invest or will it keep rising?

I know this is a question of speculation but if anyone has views/opinions/research I would love to hear your thoughts.

Many thanks

This is a very interesting question to answer, now looking on the possible dip expectations I don't think so since the recent market still got an intense rising behavior. However, if you really need to buy while market was at safer state of increasing trend; then don't ignore every market changes. You might miss the chance to sell when fluctuation happens, and yet this is the perfect time to trade btc using buy and sell method.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin eventually crash? on: March 12, 2021, 10:06:06 AM
Bitcoin's rapid price development from 2020 to 2021 makes people feel a little crazy. From 6000 US dollars to the current 54000 US dollars, huge profits and capitalists attracted us. Overthrow the dollar hegemony? World currency? Block chain? Decentralized? , There is no substantive thing as a guarantee for this. To be honest, I also have investment, but only for profit.

Good for you mate, what we've been looking forward with bitcoin and other promising tokens is always profit. No other reasons for our struggles but to gain sustainable returns coming from our investments. If I could just turn back time, all those shortcomings I had will be corrected just to make good decisions. Because, the past was not managed very well and maybe when this time comes I'll able to turn those money into bigger profitable gains.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prepare for the big and long dump this year. on: March 11, 2021, 11:34:44 PM
What do you think are the lowest amount the following coins will hit this year.

Let's talk about the top 3 Major altcoins.

1- Ethereum
2 -XRP
3- DOT

Also, you can include your prediction on bitcoin's lowest amount this year if you think that altcoins movement are significantly related to bitcoin.

I am also preparing for that scenario same as others did on their speculations. Major altcoins will likely be affected on that situation that's going to exist someday. But what's important on how long you'll going to sustain if bearish market will occur all over time.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if the bear market starts next month on: March 10, 2021, 11:23:13 PM
although this possibility is low and probably won't happen. but I want to ask you. if the bear market starts next month, and bitcoin falls below 20k. which altcoins were still able to survive and which altcoins are feeling the big impact of the bear trend.

we exclude stablecoins, because after all the market situation this coin will definitely be stable.

so I think Ethereum can still survive and that Ripple will be one of the biggest impact altcoins during the bear market.

The survival expectations is bigger for ethereum, but I don't think bearish trend would tend to exist next month. As of today the trend was really going upward and that's making our price maintain the current momentum particular with bitcoin. Same with other promising coins too, they've been doing great compared with other non popular crypto.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How USDT adjust their price? on: March 09, 2021, 10:09:53 PM
I have read the USDT smart contract and there is no price re-adjustment. Only some management functions like blacklist addresses burn cash and of course the basic ERC20 functions.
But how do they re-adjust the price to be 'stable'
Is it done from outside?
Then do they have to do it for each exchange, using the exchange API?

More info is welcome!

I think usdt was based on the fluctuations of dollar rate, and what I see about it's fluctuations is the same with fiat cash value or the stability of this asset. Once fiat value also rises, price for usdt also be affected that's why exchange to different coins would become profitable when acquire more gains in trading.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its a bull trap now on: March 06, 2021, 11:53:05 PM
I have gone a small research and grab some points and conclusions.

Now the market is extremely volatile and extra hype. So what ever the hypes now are temporary , bear market sure will come in next days.

If you have fresh investments , do not invest now. wait for 2-4 weeks lets see.  November to now almost 4 months came bull market without major bear signals. now pop out some signals. So now bulls are temporary. Please keep your hard earned money for weeks.

give opinion others.

Always do a series of observations while we don't see another trending market, most importantly let's be smart on every decisions made.  Maybe next month is the best timing to expect another ATH, investing your hard earned money should be done correctly. But if we won't see another potential to come, I don't think so we will able to earn sustainable profit.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading from Scratch on: March 05, 2021, 09:14:55 PM
The first thing you need to get started trading bitcoin is to open a bitcoin wallet. Bitcoin traders are actively seeking the best possible solutions for trading and investing in bitcoin.

These bitcoin strategies can also be used for trading bitcoin cash as well as other cryptocurrencies. In fact, you can use this as a trade guide for any type of trading instrument.
The method to employ are simple. Diversify your trades. ...
Minimize trading costs. ...Watch Trading times. ... Make sure to follow Bitcoin News. ... The use of technical analysis is essential. ... Finally, use stop losses.

You can't have the assurance that you won't have losses in trading, but you need to me minimize it and doing it all alone isn't practical. We need buddies who can help us in times of uncertainty with trading, group mates, signal group and community could help us decide everytime there's a change or diversions of market change. Because of that, all possible actions can be initiated in order to decide when to sell or when to buy.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning is better than Following on: March 04, 2021, 11:38:29 PM
When we're going to start trading, basic learnings could be hard to acquire during hardships. The market was too volatile, and if you don't yet have the skills to manage your funds you're going to fail at 100% probability. After all, you won't learn when you don't fail so every mistakes might be your ultimate one point lesson before heading to success. If you're just following others technique, I don't think that's effective because having your own way of dealing in trading is the most efficient strategy.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth gas fees and investing on: March 03, 2021, 08:07:02 PM
I am not a technologist, let alone a programmer, just an investor and trader.

What do I need to know about Ethereum's high gas fees? I'm hearing some say that this could sink Ethereum. How exagerrated is that?

That words isn't new for me, I heard many times about it maybe that's due to frustrated eth users. They been struggling for several times because of this issues regarding higher transaction fees of erc20, and nothing's changed. We need to wait for further developments to when this situation might be corrected, everybody was really tired of waiting on this matter. If this will continue to dominate, I think eth holders will probably divert with other promising asset with fair transaction fees.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Custom contract network discussion, do you hold this token? on: March 03, 2021, 07:35:31 PM
It's been a year since I been holding this ccn token, and now it wasn't yet listed to a trusted trading site like Kucoin or even binance. What future do you expect for this project since I've seen at coinmarketcap that the value still being monitored as active. Unlike with other altcoins being out of sight and inactive for such a long period of time. Do you hold this token? Please share some ideas about this one, hopefully it helps motivate other holders like me who didn't earn good these days.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is 47k$, is good time to invest ? on: March 02, 2021, 08:56:58 PM
hi guys i want to invest in BTC , the BTC price now is 47k$ do you think the price can drop more than that ?

Btc has built a strong momentum right now, and I've seen that many people already trusted its strong capability. This currency became a global asset which truly valuable as to compared with gold and silver. Though other people won't appreciate this in a physical appearance, but with it's discreet character and ability to become more sustainable as time gets older is so overwhelming nowadays, looking on it's price soaring at the top.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think it's time to go Short on Bitcoin on: March 01, 2021, 11:18:02 PM
I think bitcoin will drop to another Support in the next 24 hours, The volume is lower than the last weeks.

what do you think guys ?

The unpredictability of bitcoin market is within a hard pressures as of today, and this is really most interesting as previous performance of February did a great milestone of success. More traders earn good profit during that time while others didn't, but more interested investors is now starting to become attracted towards cryptocurrency. Hopefully, the next 24 hours we will able to see another bounce which is more bigger compared from the last time.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will ETH be worth ten years from now? on: February 27, 2021, 09:57:58 PM
As long as ETH keep their performance above average I guess it will easily touch 20k$ - 30k$ in ten years from now, I hope the utility of ethereum keep growing and many people use it as their blockchain. But ethereum should be aware of their competitor for example BSC and TRON.

The competition is growing every year, we can't expect every changes on what will be the consequences. On the positive side about eth, the span of 10 years is enough to consider maturity stage if it's price so I would have to expect $10k achievement. If we're able to reach that stage, I think long terms holders will have the perfect time to harvest their fruits of labor.
