221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1070 Ti is now pre-order on newegg.com on: January 26, 2018, 09:40:36 PM
Zotac 1070 ti Mini, 65% power limit, +150 core, +500 mem: 490.4 Sol/s, 4.22 Sol/W

miner: zm 0.5.4
I don't know what the difference is between the minis and the regular two fan 1070ti
but they must be better performers than the 1060 6gb.

yes windows not work with 13 gpu gx580..I think I buy i3, 100% usage is not good

Pentium should be enough.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: November 23, 2017, 02:20:00 PM
Is Poloniex becoming the next MtGox? Seems a lot of people struggling to get their funds out.

It is quite fast to transfer BTC out.

Price is 32 % higher.

You OVERpayed for that model - NewEgg had a "Newegg as seller" listing for it at $499 - and the ICX models are more expensive anyway.
Price on COMPARABLE models is less than 10% difference - like the EVGA SC 1070 at $439 vs the EVGA 1070 ti SC at $469.

If the price difference is less than 10%, 1070Ti is better.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AMD cards] What will you mine after Ethereum ? on: October 31, 2017, 08:41:22 AM
mine monero
thats best now

Yeah I'm moving to XMR. I think it's still undervalue.

Monero or ZCash.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASrock H110 Pro BTC+ with 13 gpu, which cpu is enough? on: October 11, 2017, 02:24:59 PM
Windows not work with 13 gpu, anyone has 13 gpu with celeron cpu?

It can work with 8x AMD + 5X nVidia or vice versa.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: September 28, 2017, 06:44:30 PM
I'm running a RIG with GTX1070 all with same overclock and power setting 65% power +100 GPU +600 MEM
and I have often crash with error code Thread exited with code: 46

anyone can help me ?

Chips VARY - it's inherent to the semiconductor manufacturing process, and has gotten worse with each generation of process as the size of the "features" on the chip gets closer to the size of atoms the chip is made out of.

ZEC isn't memory intensive, unlike ETH - try dropping the overclock on your memory ENTIRELY.

Ok but why all the people overclock the memory too on ZEC mining ?

Overclock the memory does not have much effect. For the AMD R9 390, I increase the memory from 1000MHz to 1250MHz, increase the hash by 5%.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AMD cards] What will you mine after Ethereum ? on: September 23, 2017, 02:13:19 PM
AMD cards are pretty good at monero so you can do that, you can also mine ubq, expanse and music, these coins haven't exploded in value but they have a pretty good future.

I will mine the ZCash.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Very low electricty fee on: September 01, 2017, 03:16:52 PM
Thanks for the advice, may I know what is the Cons of having BTC ASIC ? I saw many people say GPU mining rig is better than ASIC
yeah true gpu its better choice

You can mine many different coins with GPU.

It's similarly fascinating and frightening to see how this former no.1 exchange more and more ruin itself. Glad that I have all my coins out of here.

I have withdraw limit, so it will take some months to get my funds out.
231  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Poloniex] Anyone else feeling scammed on 'Awaiting Approval'? on: August 03, 2017, 02:51:24 PM
do they have a real office? Smiley
Not a public one, but they have to register for the US government, don't they?

it's a PO BOX

Does it mean if anything is wrong, we cannot find it?

Has anyone been able to withdraw eth instantly from poloniex from the past few days? How long does it take? Just want to verify before making some trades.

I had similar problem.  I could not add or cancel orders.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Ethereum Mining NoDevFee v7.1 on: July 10, 2017, 07:08:15 AM

This is very much disturbing man.

@ Falcons : You know what? Lot of people trusted you and now there are a lot of evidences/speculations as 'proofs' coming out to show that its a scam. If you are really clean, please answer all these questions to prove you are clean. I know using your application and taking the risk is up to us but please don't misuse the trust people put on you man. There is nothing as shameful as breaking the trust. Cry

That is quite disturbing. I think he should not misuse the trust people put on him.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: July 01, 2017, 02:08:51 PM
It is not possible to understand what Poloniex is doing. I have not transferred coins yet because I do not want to face the waiting problem. Are there anyone who believes that this situation will improve?

I've withdrawn mine few days ago in doge just to test the water and it arrived on my bittrex normally. Maybe you can try doge if you want to, proceed at your own risk, though.

I can also withdraw bitcoins.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: June 10, 2017, 07:21:16 PM
Not sure what is going on, but my withdrawals, deposits and stuff is working fine. During the night and on the weekend polo is still slow and sometimes the API times out, but I've never had issues with support or withdrawals on a daily basis.

I find it odd also that most if not all the scam sayers are newbie accounts..?

I hope they fix their systems soon, but it's not as bad as some people say.

The only problem I have is when set up the order, it is slow some times.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solo Mining Zec Profitable? on: May 31, 2017, 09:41:15 AM
Is solo mining ZEC profitable?
Hashrate 10000?
Or its too low?
How much Sol/s i need for solo mining?
Anyone an idea?

I think at least 1Mega to say you can solo mine , don't waste your energy on solo mine unless you have a very large farm or so , zcash network hashrate jumped 40% more than the last months.

If you have more than 1% of the total hash power, it is better to solo mine.

That is too low for solo mining. You might get one block in several days.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.3 (Windows/Linux) on: May 03, 2017, 05:52:35 AM
Newbie here.  Any help appreciated.

Setting up my rig.  This worked yesterday for a 36 hour run

      - MSI Z170A Gaming M7
      - 1x Sapphire Nitro (no plus) 8G RX480  (rookie mistake slower memory)
      - 1x Asus Dual RX 480 8G
          BOTH GPUs mounted on mobo
      - windows 7 64bit
      - Claymore v 9.3
      - crimson v 17.4.3
      - firewall off

My config:

-epool USEast.Alpereum.ch:3002
-ewal (xxxxx)
-epsw x
-mode 1
-ethi 16
-tt 85
-asm 0
-wd 2
-benchmark
-fanmin 70

Ran great.  Just going for stability, not speed yet.  Both cards hashed around 24-25Mh/s

------------
Today the risers arrived. (MintCell v006)

Moved the the ASUS DUAL card to the riser.  Added a second ASUS DUAL card with riser.  Sapphire remained on mobo in PCIe slot.

Started Claymore.  All cards hashing about 24-25Mh/s

After 3 minutes of mining ATI driver crash.  One mining card stops mining.

Reboot.  Same behavior.

---------
Read the forums.  Tried to back off to the suggested v15.2 driver, but it would not run with my RX 480.  Settled on driver 16.11.5

Same behavior.

----------

Ran the rig with the Sapphire mounted in case and only 1 ASUS on riser.   This was stable.

-----------

Any ideas?  I have swapped risers to no avail.  I can run 2 cards stable, but adding the third causes a crash a few minutes into mining.

At the time of the crashes no cards are running super hot.  (60-70 C)

Thanks

To reduce variables I placed the two ASUS cards in the PCI-e slots on the mobo.  Tested it and had no problems.  This ruled out any bad cards.

Placed the cards BOTH on risers (no card on the mobo directly) and it failed within a few minutes of load.   Bad risers.

Anyone have a suggestion on good quality risers?

The powered risers are usually good.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: April 19, 2017, 01:15:25 PM
currently there is status quo on ZEC miners market.
EWBF's for Pascal is a little faster then Nicehash's Excavator and lot more efficient then Claymore's on AMD.
There is no need for further speed rush.
If Nicehash or Claymore will come with new faster version then, sure, EWBF will take out the rabbit from the hat ))

Not necessary true. If we can get faster for the nVidia cards ,we will earn more.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The second batch of PandaMiner B3 Plus Pre-sale coming soon! on: April 02, 2017, 12:56:50 PM
