Price is 32 % higher.
You OVERpayed for that model - NewEgg had a "Newegg as seller" listing for it at $499 - and the ICX models are more expensive anyway. Price on COMPARABLE models is less than 10% difference - like the EVGA SC 1070 at $439 vs the EVGA 1070 ti SC at $469. If the price difference is less than 10%, 1070Ti is better.

I'm running a RIG with GTX1070 all with same overclock and power setting 65% power +100 GPU +600 MEM and I have often crash with error code Thread exited with code: 46
anyone can help me ?
Chips VARY - it's inherent to the semiconductor manufacturing process, and has gotten worse with each generation of process as the size of the "features" on the chip gets closer to the size of atoms the chip is made out of. ZEC isn't memory intensive, unlike ETH - try dropping the overclock on your memory ENTIRELY. Ok but why all the people overclock the memory too on ZEC mining ? Overclock the memory does not have much effect. For the AMD R9 390, I increase the memory from 1000MHz to 1250MHz, increase the hash by 5%.

This is very much disturbing man. @ Falcons : You know what? Lot of people trusted you and now there are a lot of evidences/speculations as 'proofs' coming out to show that its a scam. If you are really clean, please answer all these questions to prove you are clean. I know using your application and taking the risk is up to us but please don't misuse the trust people put on you man. There is nothing as shameful as breaking the trust. That is quite disturbing. I think he should not misuse the trust people put on him.

Not sure what is going on, but my withdrawals, deposits and stuff is working fine. During the night and on the weekend polo is still slow and sometimes the API times out, but I've never had issues with support or withdrawals on a daily basis.
I find it odd also that most if not all the scam sayers are newbie accounts..?
I hope they fix their systems soon, but it's not as bad as some people say.
The only problem I have is when set up the order, it is slow some times.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solo Mining Zec Profitable?

Is solo mining ZEC profitable? Hashrate 10000? Or its too low? How much Sol/s i need for solo mining? Anyone an idea?
I think at least 1Mega to say you can solo mine , don't waste your energy on solo mine unless you have a very large farm or so , zcash network hashrate jumped 40% more than the last months. If you have more than 1% of the total hash power, it is better to solo mine.

Newbie here. Any help appreciated.
Setting up my rig. This worked yesterday for a 36 hour run
- MSI Z170A Gaming M7 - 1x Sapphire Nitro (no plus) 8G RX480 (rookie mistake slower memory) - 1x Asus Dual RX 480 8G BOTH GPUs mounted on mobo - windows 7 64bit - Claymore v 9.3 - crimson v 17.4.3 - firewall off
My config:
-epool USEast.Alpereum.ch:3002 -ewal (xxxxx) -epsw x -mode 1 -ethi 16 -tt 85 -asm 0 -wd 2 -benchmark -fanmin 70
Ran great. Just going for stability, not speed yet. Both cards hashed around 24-25Mh/s
------------ Today the risers arrived. (MintCell v006)
Moved the the ASUS DUAL card to the riser. Added a second ASUS DUAL card with riser. Sapphire remained on mobo in PCIe slot.
Started Claymore. All cards hashing about 24-25Mh/s
After 3 minutes of mining ATI driver crash. One mining card stops mining.
Reboot. Same behavior.
--------- Read the forums. Tried to back off to the suggested v15.2 driver, but it would not run with my RX 480. Settled on driver 16.11.5
Same behavior.
----------
Ran the rig with the Sapphire mounted in case and only 1 ASUS on riser. This was stable.
-----------
Any ideas? I have swapped risers to no avail. I can run 2 cards stable, but adding the third causes a crash a few minutes into mining.
At the time of the crashes no cards are running super hot. (60-70 C)
Thanks
To reduce variables I placed the two ASUS cards in the PCI-e slots on the mobo. Tested it and had no problems. This ruled out any bad cards. Placed the cards BOTH on risers (no card on the mobo directly) and it failed within a few minutes of load. Bad risers. Anyone have a suggestion on good quality risers? The powered risers are usually good.

currently there is status quo on ZEC miners market. EWBF's for Pascal is a little faster then Nicehash's Excavator and lot more efficient then Claymore's on AMD. There is no need for further speed rush. If Nicehash or Claymore will come with new faster version then, sure, EWBF will take out the rabbit from the hat ))
Not necessary true. If we can get faster for the nVidia cards ,we will earn more.
