hey just would quickly like to give a feature suggestion to minimize your overhead.

Currently with the SMSauth I get a text as soon as I open the wallet page, or reload it or if it was in my last browser open tabs. It would be better to have a button -'send code' or have it send when the authbox is focused on. Hope it helps. Love you're service.

also if funding is (or isn't )! Possibly consider a sponsors tab button (in the
Home Charts Stats Markets Developers Wallet area or footer.)  for BTC related services willing to direct some funding towards your efforts. It'd help consolidate the btc-connomy by bringing these services closer to the public eye. Of course you're the final say on who's an acceptable candidate and who isn't.

Haha, yea Doog. Please don't take it like I'm saying 'ooooh you stole my ideas you owe me money' crap. And I agree, the ideas suggested were quite obvious... Making the refusal to even validate the as a potential addition to satoshi dice ...more frustrating.

But of course the advertising isn't at it's peak value right now. It needs road testing, a proven track record (with positively affected advertisers returning and competing with other new or returning advertisers) generating far better auction outcomes. Which of course also goes hand in hand with site development, growing user base etc.

I strongly feel your demographic isn't just other gambling sites... Big wins = 'expendable cash'/ 'pure profit' in the eyes of many gamblers (despite past wins/losses) - obviously not universally true, but certainly does occur.  So once a gambler wishes to takes their winnings, they're like 'hey I've got like $200 for free now... bitcoinstore.com??? okay I'll buy that over 9000 gb SSD I've been thinking about.

ditto for any btc stock exchanges...Hey I won shitloads... maybe I'll invest now!?

Having a site thats basis is money really really really does open advertising doors to you..because anybody advertising is doings so to attract those A: with money B: would spend on xyz product/service.

I think you might want to consider advertising your advertising...and site of course lol. Maybe even consider putting a bid in for http://bitcoinity.org/markets? ad space where I originally was captured by the strong potential for success and overall beneficial nature of it to the bitconomy idea.

I like the way you roll man. I'll try pm you some of the other potential features to add to your TO-DO list. It's good that you've got one, unlike the other I've been used to which was 1. in bold "fuck this shit up'.

/end my project procrastination.
4  Economy / Securities / Re: [CLOSED] S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 23, 2013, 02:19:17 AM
sunnankar, you smell of shill pretty bad.

Are you in fact trying to deny the evidence that purports a high level of deceit and manipulation occurring within this situation. As it has been restated many times, this is not an issue of legality, but one of ethical concern. It may be perfectly legal to put live insects and spiders into a hot frying pan... It is society's role to be outspoken when it feels, 'what is deemed legal/illegal' does not match what the opinion of the public is. Hell, we're all here in bitcoin land because we're unhappy with the legal printing of money, frac reserve banking, corporate interest regulations etc. This is no different.

Just because what is occurring is 'allowed' to occur, DOES NOT infer we should allow for it to continue unhindered, as if we were okay with how it happened.

There isn't much of a straightforward way for Erik to prove once and for all the legitimacy of his claims, but his track record of lack of explanation towards other unscrupulous behavior indicates that this is no different... A mound of (justified) accusations are at Eriks feet but all he is willing to do is sweep them under the carpet.

How you can possibly say we should negate this potential multi million dollar scam simply because you can see no clear solution...When there is a plethora of evidence that strongly suggests Erik has fleeced his investors due to his newly acquired bitcoin lust.

How you can say that he doesn't at least owe his investors an in depth explanation, supported by evidence of his recent actions is beyond me. Many people (rightly so) feel wronged by Eriks actions and it it is important that these issues get addressed. Millions of dollars is not a trivial matter.
5  Economy / Auctions / Re: [SELL] Advertise on Just-Dice.com on: July 23, 2013, 01:42:09 AM
Hey, Doog. I don't think you should scrap the ad idea. It just needs alternate implementation. Perhaps the 'advertise with us' link should just go to another page that accepts your Email, Bid and banner. Then displays that as an ad leader board on that page...With the email provided obviously as a means of notifying the winner that they have x hours to pay before it rolls to the next bidder.

I'm not sure what initially made you create just-dice, but are you using the suggestions I came up with in the SD thread? (Not implying you shouldn't, I'm happy that chat, ads, accounts etc. are being used when they're such obvious additions to the game). I was really hoping I'd be able to start on something like this as soon as my I.T degree finishes this semester but alas, I feel it would be a waste as i have little forum credibility along with a delayed start. Oh well, there are still plenty of ideas that can grow from Bitcoins fertile soil yet.

Anyway I was just going to say, I've got a few other ideas to share that I feel would boost the sites users and revenue for just-dice.  So if you wanted, please  just get in touch with me with a PM.
6  Economy / Securities / Re: [CLOSED] S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 22, 2013, 06:42:14 AM
And he is the only one that can take away this suspicion that he did insider trading or not.
First, insider trading makes markets more efficient and should not even be a crime.
...
Third, unfortunately there is no way for Erik to 'take away this suspicion' because of the non-AML/KYC nature of the MPEx exchange. For example, he could of had a second or third or fourth, etc. account(s) that he used to buy shares with. It would be impossible for MPEx to determine whether the accounts were linked. Thus, it is impossible for Erik to either prove or disprove whether he bought any or a large amount of shares over the past month. It is what it is.

So at the end of the day it comes down to the application of the MPEx contract. In this case, it appears it was honored fairly. Sure, there can be some disagreements but under the business judgment rule I doubt any of them rise to the level of materiality. So just pick up your bitcoins and go forward. Bleeting like a stuck sheep is not helpful for your balance sheet.
Insider trading is fine when done with a moral conscience, not with greed. It's going to happen in the Bitcoin domain, but that's why we have to watch for signs of when it is being abused.

Of course, the whole nature of Bitcoin and related assets tied with it is quite heavy on the anonymity aspect of things. This allows for relatively easy insider trading and the such. What we're doing is calling him out on it. There is enough evidence to strongly indicate that Erik has in fact manipulated the course of events to lead to this situation ending strongly in favor of himself at the expense of others.

For all we know Erik could have 'sold' the company to himself, as to entirely reclaim it before actually turning it into something competitive with the market. A few months of bad  news to ensure a cheaper buy back, then the "I'm even giving you extra!" B.S ...You're allowing us to maybe break even, not including those who started to sell as this unfortunate coincidence shower continued to pour.

To discount the evidence of what is certainly deserving of the label 'suspicious' would be making a fool of yourself. Erik likely did this exactly because, as you said it's easily viable and quite difficult to prove or disprove; But if Erik expects to walk away from this car crash without answering to some questions, he's gonna need a scammer tag.
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [CLOSED] S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 22, 2013, 04:04:18 AM
Erik address public concerns!? HA!

Honestly, to me it looks like this whole thing was a few months in the planning.

-The 'Big announcement' that was meant to be given months earlier was infact this sell off.

-After realizing his demonstration of complete incompetence resulted in lower share price ( Therefor lower buyback costs to him) he followed that path.

- "Hey guys Americans can't play anymore", "new I.T guy with double salary", " 'Hired' a PR that doesn't do PR" , "I'm taking my money from the pool that was never explicitly mine", "I'll address your concerns later" (later of course meaning never), "We're working on the site..just we can't show or tell anything to do with it".

After a solid 2-3 months of all this negative news... Share prices fell!? Market confidence was lost!? ..Then some anon decides to buy a few mil because obviously SDice was appearing to have such a bright future ahead of it.

I mean if this really is coincidence (like the coincidence when he was calc'ing employee payments during the $2xx/btc peak...and randomly timing it so well that his payments where strongly in his favor - paying from random intervals in the month where btc price was 100< )

This chain of events is indicative of something different to Erik's story - 'Everything was just by chance, good timing'

I mean open your eyes! I can't believe there are still people bleating 'good job erik, ur tha  best ontroponor evar'. Get an idea of the full context on what has happened here and it'll paint a pretty clear picture of what has really been going on.
8  Economy / Securities / Re: [CLOSED] S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 20, 2013, 03:22:41 AM
An so it draws to a close.

No comment on the suspicious activity of fund siphoning through arbitrary costs.
No comment on the the bet pool situation.
No comment on Eriks deceitful actions, defending the high costs/low income months by saying that the yearly ROI average is statistically going to be positive... Not when you force a sell off.

Erik you actions in the last 5 months have been atrocious. It seems obvious that this was your original plan - To milk what could be milked, fill investors with false promises of progress that you never once gave an inkling to what that progress was then leaving the husk of SatoshiDice, a company that had the potential to grow so much further if only it wasn't managed by your negligent hands.

No scams, just some pretty pathetic throws you've pulled on all of us. You're bad for Bitcoin you greedy twat.
9  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 18, 2013, 02:28:04 AM
Well what a shit cunt this makes Erik.

"Hur durr, we've been working on new features for months...We'll release the info on what they are soon...In the mean time heres some new site costs!"

"Sory guis, haven't been on in 3 monhts, big announcement end of this month tho! We're working hard for you shareholderss! Oh btw I'm taking all the betting pool that you justly thought was yours..mine now."

"Soooo you know all those things I've been working on, well they don't exists, they where just keeping this afloat on a sea of lies and I'm cashing out now, again with no GPG sig because I frankly don't give a shit if you all get shat on if/when my account gets compromised... Im'a just take the money and ran now, BAII FAGGOTZ -XOXO"

WHAT A SURPRISE GUYS! Erik show's up, not with information pertaining to everyones questions and Erik's promises, no, no, no... Just another random slap in the face and run, style news.

So who's the buyer? Competitor removing competition, gambling mogul, Erik under another pseudonym - so he can continue fucking this into the floor without damaging his reputation?

Have they outlined their prospects for where this will be going? Rebuilding or dismantling?

I would like to nominate Erik for this years shit bloke of the year award. He's really strived his hardest this time round. Definitely deserving of it.
10  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 14, 2013, 07:22:24 AM
Bump for movement. Why has nothing been announced, changed or improved for SO long!? With no sign of action in the future...
11  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 08, 2013, 01:58:58 PM
And just like that any form of authorised representation disappears. Erik, this really is sheer negligence. When will you be getting your shit together?
12  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: July 05, 2013, 03:46:33 AM
Hi all, June dividend will be sent out tomorrow (July 4th).
Wow, I underestimated how good of a PR you are. Basically paid for yourself right there. *slow clap*

I work for free and thought people would like to know when dividend is going out, so I stated as such. Thanks for being nice.

That's not the thing I'm taking issue with.

I could be hired to be in charge of site security...working for free. I know nothing about web security, but hey I'm filling the position and doing it for free therfor we don't need somebody who can actually do web security.

If Erik cannot handle being his own PR he should hire somebody who can match the expected level of one. As a PR, you would be expected to relay the concerns and queries of investors to Erik and his response back. Putting PR in your name and parroting or offering nominal information does not exceed or even come close to meeting the expected duties of the role.

tl;dr Hiring a scuba diver to be a pilot does not make the diver an apt pilot.

If formation that still does need addressing however that you may have knowledge of:

- Did Erik remove the betting pool, and replace with this months dividends of his ( Even while this is still a hotly contested matter of the ownership of those funds)

- New site that we're paying for... mock up of what it looks like? additional features? Why it takes 3 months to show any progress?

- 'Big announcement' due 2 months ago...hoax?

-No company balance sheet? Or steps toward getting a competent  accountant...? (Back to no comments on the gdocs monthly expenses, wtf)

---
THESE are the things that a PR should be addressing, not the trivial 'hey! As expected, we're paying everyone dividends this month!1!!2'

Hey Dooglus, love what you're doing, hate that it's shitting on my SD investments though Tongue

Just thought you might spring a little more attention to this thread linking to it with 'advertise with us' text link under/beside, w/e the banner. Kudos to you for actually capitalizing on the good forum reputation and the very expandable idea of btc gambling. Wishing you much luck

What happened to the whale?

My guess, they went to another site with a lesser house edge and better interface.

Fuck you Erik. Where the hell are you and what the hell are you doing. Your actions are becoming pretty damn scummy.
16  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: June 22, 2013, 02:29:04 PM
Bitcoin is something greater than greed
Quote
money > greed
you sure about that? Huh
By that I mean, Bitcoin is not for exploitation of others in return for personal gain. It's the chance to change one of the cogs that work our society, from a well oiled, but fundamentally broken one to a new one that will provide fertile ground to enable the growth of a new adaption of the old that is simply growing from a 'cleaner' source.

The core principles of Bitcoin are a far greater worth than peoples temporary money lust greed. I totally agree, the comment sounds a tad contradictory when saying what is essentially money is > greed..when the greed is what often stems from the thing of value. But yea, I'm more talking along the lines of Bitcoin as a reducing factor in the coercive, self interest perpetuated (at the cost of others) and corrupt nature of governments and think we should strive to parallel just as much as that from within our own Bitconomy. A pipe dream, but we can always ask questions that prevent us from getting too deep into the greedy pocket of others. /endrant.don'tknow.goingtobed.
17  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: June 22, 2013, 08:17:47 AM
Erik. Stop hiding.

You still have a plethora of issues to address and for too long you just draw them out crippling what credibility you have left to run a company.

Daily, you're allowing the pie to be cut away in larger and larger pieces. An objective fact is that there are many better sites than SD right now because SD has become too incompetent to keep up. https://twitter.com/PrimeDice/status/346728978129756160

The current plan of yours to withdraw what you claim is your btc from the pool and replace with your month of dividends should NOT be done, it is clearly still a contested matter. You cannot claim that it is unreasonable for shareholders to assume that a sum like that (a core piece of the site workings) is somehow separate from the business assets. With no indication of these belonging to anyone/anything BUT the business. This of course is a key piece of information in determining whether it's worth investing in.

A balance sheet of business assets is needed (and will likely also cause some contest with the current trend of your calculations)

Many costs from previous months also have not been explicitly clarified. (over a month of waiting too get a proper answer relating to these)... These phantom costs suggest foul play by you... If you are innocent, you should be happy to outline the true nature of these, your continual absence of response does not help.

You really should be more present here or hire somebody who is competent at filling a PR role. Was the last one a joke?

What's with all of the FUD? If you don't trust Erik, don't buy shares of SDICE. Sell them so that I can buy them  Grin
It's not FUD, most everything that people are saying is based on empirical fact. I don't even need to own shares to wish that Erik would conduct his business with even some level of integrity and professionalism... The more stories we get of corruption and incompetence, the worse it is for everyone in the Bitcoin community. Bitcoin is something greater than greed, and it's something we shouldn't be let compromised by others.
18  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: June 17, 2013, 02:11:44 AM
@madmax_ger
Thank you and I agree, overloading it would be a mistake...But adding many of these prospects to the todo list and developing over time would give everyone at least some hope SD's engines are still working and that we're not simply dead in the water.

@ThickAsThieves,
Exactly. This is why it is in Erik's best interest to make mention in detail of what developments are being made and what level of progress they're at.

@thoughtfan
A well thought out post, your contributions are appreciated.

@RationalSpeculator (who has me on ignore thanks to their willing ignorance)
1: Fuck you. There is NO NEED to quote a long post in full (on the same page) just to give a +1 thumbs up. It slides the page unnecessarily.
2: Fuck you. Your accusations of my apparent "rudeness, obnoxiousness, invasiveness, scepticism and false accusations, none of which are 'being critical'." are just that, baseless accusations. Pull your head out of your arse and try construct a post with some actual content. Skimming through your posts, you're the worst kind of forum member. All you do is bloat everything with irrelevant or unnecessary posts.
3. Fuck you. I know I can be rude. I reserve it for those no longer deserving of common politeness.

@Rampion
Bro? Bro.. Bro..Shut Up. People who want to read my posts can and do. Don't speak for everyone, thinking that because your 3rd grade reading and comprehension level prohibits you from understanding what's being discussed that that all somehow applies to everyone here. Go be useless somewhere else.

---
I think it's unacceptable that Erik presents himself here so little, and his PR even less. Of course usually there wouldn't be this much demand from him to make comments but the past few months have just been him giving drive-by bombshells.. "by the way nothing is yours I'm taking the money cya bye!"
19  Economy / Securities / Re: S.DICE - SatoshiDICE 100% Dividend-Paying Asset on MPEx on: June 14, 2013, 02:36:09 PM
Rampion and nubbins, kindly stfu. This isn't your twitter feed, nor is it a place to discuss the various exchanges. The question of where SD shares can purchased has be answered (Even though that too is not a question appropriate for this thread. If this thread could be found, then so can the pass-through threads in the securities section too...also Google achieves the same)... Tired of seeing the degeneracy in peoples understanding of how a forum works. see- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=217081.0

Shameless self repost to re-align this derailing on the glorious page 93.

Ok, I think the people are finally waking up to how badly this whole business, not just this situation is being managed.

So please Erik,
take some time to both consider some of the suggestions put forward by the community (1), providing your reasoning why/why not you choose to accept or deny them; And give us all an idea of where you're steering this - What are the current developments in working and what are their expected time frames.

These are not unreasonable requests and undoubtedly will improve your public reception. If we can just see some evidence showing you're not going at this whole thing blind folded, we'll instill some confidence in the long term prospects of this endeavour.

(1)
- Unobtrusive Text advertisements/s. I gurantee there is a market for other business' wanting to plug a simple link to a high traffic BTC related site such as SD. The time-frame, advertisees and placement of course is up to you. An auction nearing the end of each time frame would be the simplest way to calculate the demand/charge cost for the ad. This provides both a source of income (That could go towards the betting pool instead of dividends) AND helps establish other btc companies trying to get some exposure to the exact crowd they want/need (btc users). I'm not usually one for supporting advertisements, but in this instance it is so clearly a smart move for all those involved. If any other members here support or dislike this idea, I urge you construct an intellectual response , not a forum sliding waste of space - "yea do that! / no that's shit!".
( A sample of how this has already been implemented in another site is here, in the top left. Generating ~100 btc a month: http://bitcoinity.org/markets? )

-A dual system of account-less play and pseudo accounts (like PrimeDice (as much as I don't want to support the visibility of a real competitor)); These psudo accounts work simply with a user defined cashout wallet and a server defined play wallet...you can instantly deposit to the play wallet but Once you press cash-out, it will only send once the conditions are met (deposit has x confirmations for a amount of x btc). Additionally, the method of defining the odds you want / payout ratio is far superior. I would definitely suggest innovating on that idea. (There is no need to leave the veil of complexity and confusion by using the 0-64000 set. Of course for Authentication and result calculation you can still use them and give means to access them by users, but they should be represented as a decimal-ed percentage 99.25%...Anything more is undue complexification.

-Opt-in/opt-enabled CHAT. Giving users who wish to socialize whilst gaming the option and ability to, while leaving those who wish not to alone. Even a complex chat system is not difficult to implement ( I built one from scratch in my second year of Uni) ..I can't think of any good reason not to pioneer this idea. (I'm sure your I.T guys are itching to do something other than nothing? maybe penetration, bug, load testing?) ---Example chat, but not exactly as I'm describing === https://btc-e.com/

-Alt games. Yes the simplicity of SD has it's appeal. But one should not only eat rice, there are many different flavours out there..Many better and more appealing than 'rice'. Implemented as straight forward coupled with accounts. (blackjack, video poker, roulette, war etc.) - These can work standalone per user or on the same virtual table for a far more realistic social experience) -always opt-enabled/disabled

-Alt currencies: By all means, game the system a little and buy a bulk of coins before the announcement of plans to implement alt coins. You can let it create it's own betting pool over time by limiting the max bets etc until it can sustain higher level. The benifits of this would be increased traffic from miners who have little to do with their coins but gamble, hold or sell.

-The lifting of the overly cautious American user barring. (Of course, comply to these restrictions if and when they become present)

- A site redesign competition with a prize (in exchange for full ownership rights to the design)

Lonewolfing this operation initially started well for you, but these string of events these last past months are not showing an signs of encouragement towards a  favorable future...

Erik and others, please voice your thoughts and opinions of the above...Ensuring not to make any 'I'm an uneducated dick with an (unfounded) opinion' style posts.

P.S.
Erik, the announcement and inexplicit costs are still awaiting your (or the PR's, lolololol) appropriate explanation.
