And this is why Bitcoin needs to find an alternative to the blockchain - you can't expect to download huge files.

Bitcoins are just v 0.1 of cryptocurrency. Future ones only has a chance of being adopted - needs easier wallets that doesn't require downloading the whole blockchain, faster confirm times (in the range of seconds) and more secure against malware.
