1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: i got scammed for ETC 79 on luckygames.io on: June 02, 2019, 10:31:36 PM
It is hard to say which side is telling the (complete)truth, but if hacking is in question I don't think hacker would came here to complain....

Well, if he believes he can possible get 79 ETC for free, i think he would. It's worth the effort don't you think? Undecided

Funds have been returned after this accusation, or? I will believe it if/when I see signed message from deposits address.

OP has been asked to sign a message in here and on the site's forum. And he hasn't yet, he claims he does not know how...but then again, how can you sign a message with an address you don't own Roll Eyes Notice how his only response after learning that the funds have been withdrawn back to one of the addresses(which OP supposedly owns) used to deposit is
what i can do now ,
And poof! he seemed to dissappear after that. Because what's the point in trying to steal an empty account? Cheesy

2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: i got scammed for ETC 79 on luckygames.io on: June 02, 2019, 09:12:27 AM
This issue has been resolved. This guy was unable to provide a signed message from any of the addresses found in the transaction proofs he provided. Furthemore, the real owner of the account already has withdrawn his ETC to one of the address found in one of "siemdagmaer" deposit transaction proofs he used, which he obtained by apparently phishing the original owner.

This was one of transaction this guy used as proof : https://gastracker.io/tx/0x20bc654cc14b33643eafbf9c53f54c171c6eb5d090e648788823672e5a37bafc

This was the withdrawal made after the account was restored to the original owner: http://gastracker.io/tx/0xc07b542df05eee7ae59faf1b6a5e64e5ece27fa5c9eac2322de455e1736e3aed

So... yeah, nice try, better luck next time. Smiley

There was a person who was promoting a luckygames.cc in /r/burstcoin and the thread was deleted by the mods. Does that .cc website go to the same site as luckygames.io or is it a phishing attempt? Ty.

It's an alternative url for people having problem's connecting to the '.io' link. Here's the announcement from the site's twitter account : https://twitter.com/luckygamesio/status/969380407526469632

Thank you for your opinion but I prefer that a luckygames representative answer the questions

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1696880.msg46481173#msg46481173

Please can a representative of Luckygames explain the following:

- Why is there no cookie notification?
- Why is Luckygames not GDPR European Law compliant?
- What is the LTD/LLC registered company name that owns Luckygames?
- What is the LTD/LLC registered company address?
- What is the LTD/LLC registered company contact number and email address?
- What is the the legal jurisdiction Luckygames is governed by?
- What are the KYC/AML policies Luckygames adheres to?
- Where is the Privacy Information page? (The TOS shows no privacy information)

Many thanks

If you REALLY want some answers, as luizxind suggested: go ask the live support... or post your questions on the site's official forum...or better yet; go talk to the site's admin on the site's chat (he answers PM's whenever he is online). The official account of the site here was banned a few months ago, and i believe it might still be currently banned, so you might be unable to get any answer directly from the site's owner here. So...maybe instead of posting your questions over and over on this thread with no sign of an answer..maybe try asking them ON the site first. Smiley

You need to contact support, para ma cancel or ma change yung transaction details. Hindi po yan babalik sa wallet mo kung pabayaan mo lang Smiley

What's with all these new accounts? They just stopped by to say this is best site with best mods but they never said why they think so.

I'm also wondering why newbie accounts do have positive reviews towards the site saying blah blah blah, this is the best site and so on.We don't know if those accounts are just owned by the site itself or just they are being paid on doing such fake reviews without know too much on what are the things on the site.Just saying good things will already be enough.

they do look like shills.. but if they are, then whoever is paying them is not getting his moneys worth.. they are way too obvious Cheesy

It's more likely that those accounts are just posting for the sake of increasing activity here on bitcointalk.. since some of the site's giveaways requires a certain activity count to be able to join them..

Accidentally noticed this 2 accounts with pretty much the same post history, John.1 and MostChampion..

now, i'm too lazy to check where or who the original source is..but they seem to be copy pasting posts from each other, based on the time of their posts.
Must be a lazy attempt at account farming, i won't be surprised if there are other accounts with similar post history as this two.

oh..and is this right place to report this kind of things? Huh

Please wait for an official announcement from site admin before using that link. I'm currently logged in on luckygames.io, and everything seems to be fine

UPDATE: So i asked live support about this, and he said it is legit. It's been announced on the site's twitter account.
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: i got scammed for 25k digibytes on luckygames.io on: March 02, 2018, 10:19:46 AM

Am I the only one wondering if the website owner is the only one responsible behind the back ? He would have access to the user's password and once he realised someone made a huge profit,he instantly logged in to the account and transferred money back.Since the casino we are talking about is involved in numerous shady activities, there are more chances they doing this to a lot of customers.

It's a possibility. But, "hacks " like this happen in other websites too(especially in gambling sites). It's not that hard to believe that there really are just a shitload of asshole out there lurking..who can steal your funds if you just give them the chance. And not making use of the full security options a site has to offer to protect your account..that just makes you an easy target. Undecided
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: i got scammed for 25k digibytes on luckygames.io on: February 28, 2018, 11:21:27 PM
first of all i never used a weak password such as 123123 or what ever this password  is not even close to get geussed
second  alot of times the F2A didnt even worked for me
and third as soon as i got logged out  i knew something was wrong cous i couldnt log back in , i tried to reset my password  right away
couldnt even do that cous the page kept loading  and eventually said server issue error...

then 7 hours later i get a new password

ofcourse im sad and pissed off

You're password can be considered weak if:

1.you only use words that can somehow be found in a dictionary, or any other word catalog..
2.you don't use any special characters, numbers, and at the very least a variation of upper-case or lower case letters..
3.your password is less than 12 - 16 characters,..
4. you used the same password in any other site or app.

If you did none of those, then there is still a chance you got phished. And without any 2FA..it just makes things easier for someone to hijack your account, sadly Embarrassed
There will always be people monitoring gambling sites, especially the High roller tabs, waiting for easy targets.

and if i may ask, were you using the mobile version of the site before you lost access to your account and before your funds got withdrawn?

P.S. keep your devices secured too..not just your accounts  Sad
