Most of the time, you should go with the flow, but it doesn't mean you should always stay at your safe zone. You should always try, whether you fail or success, in the end, your "experience" is enough as a gain if you didn't success on what you've tried.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The root of newbies problem on: July 06, 2018, 01:35:39 AM
I agree with you. Newbies should learn about Cryptocurrency and bitcoins before they make posts on this forum.
That's the reason why they are here in the forum, they want to learn more or they want to start leaning about cryptocurrency, the sad part of it is that after a few months or even days of reading, their attention is shifting to earning.

They should also try to share what they learn with other members on the forum.

You can't expect it that way when everyone just want to earn, most of the time they will share something not because they want to spread knowledge here but because there is an incentive on each post they make.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Increase Merits Easy Method on: June 05, 2018, 01:53:47 AM
Be contented with your rank, it's not about what you can earn, but what you can read and learn in this forum.

Sooner or later you'll get used to your rank and just focus on reading more and writing less here. With that, you'll never feel frustrated and forget about earning. Maybe that's the reason why the merit system was introduced.

But if you really want to increase your merit, I usually see people flock to Meta section, try your luck there, who knows, someone might like what you are going to say.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Self-education. on: May 06, 2018, 05:30:42 AM
In my opinion, everyone can learn what they want, but what you should be thinking is the mastery, you can't perfect everything if you would not focus on just one craft. You will need thousands of hours before you could be considered as "master" on the specific field that you are into.

But, things like fixing your own things like your house, bikes, computer, I'm sure you can learn how to do it. Ever heard of "DIY"? I consider it self taught, but I can't consider DIY'ers as "specialist" that you are talking about.

There are also talented people who doesn't need someone to teach them, they could naturally enhance themselves by experience.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: April 10, 2018, 11:23:48 AM
In my own opinion, Bitcoin can help lessen the unemployment rate and can boost the moral of those you cant find jobs. I can say that bitcoin nowadays is an online job that will give opportunity for those you cant look for a job. like in my country if this bitcoin will grow and be popular and steady many people here will be encourage to have this kind of work.

Yeah, by what job exactly would they employed into? If it is just for micro jobs, then they are wasting their time. If their courses/degrees are not related to computer, I suggest that they should not use bitcoin as a tool to become rich or to be employed by it. Unless they are rich and just want to invest in bitcoin and not do it for their bread and butter.

Honestly, if you would go out, there are plenty of job if you are really looking for it, only that people are choosy and just want to do the jobs that already have high salaries and of course, the easiest one.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the main goal of human is happiness? on: April 10, 2018, 10:39:22 AM
Humanity's happiness as the species' purpose in living is selfish in itself. Our happiness is not the reason we are created upon this earth. If it does, then we should've just been given a very low iq enough to survive. Increase intelligence widens ones view so happiness is shot. Ignorance is bliss really has a grain of truth in it. What i think of our purpose doesn't matter. Since we are actually advanced enough to figure it out. Only thing is we hope that we live long enougj to fulfill it.

Yup. The higher our IQ is, the more serious we tackle things out. Just like watching a comedy movie, if the joke was already been done in the other movie, then it's boring, there should be something new. Or another example, a woman, if they are into sexual relationship, the more experience they have, they would need a much better man to be with to make them happy in bed(no pun intended). Or a poor man seeking for their day to day living. They tend to work harder and harder to make their lives easier, and that is the only thing that makes them happy.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Philippines is starting to accept bitcoin. on: April 10, 2018, 08:43:19 AM
There most have been more seminar going on in your country,  but you never knew about it, even under developed countries hold seminars about bitcoin and the blockchain every week,  sometimes everyday. Am 100% sure that bitcoin did not just come into philliphine but has always been just that it's is presently you realised that seminar is being carried out to enlighten people on the technology.

The seminar in Manila in January was far too expensive. It was basically a party for the rich.

Exactly. It was just a seminar being hyped by I don't know?

Actually this article, thread title and content is a bit misleading. It's not the government that held a seminar about cryptocurrency but it's just a bunch of people who wants to organize it for whatever reason they have. Most of the time seminars are being held to advertise something, I'm not sure, but probably this one is another way to do it, like how the networkers do it, hiding the real reason behind.
8  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Freedom of will on: April 10, 2018, 06:44:06 AM
I've read a quote before that states "One man's freedom ends where another one begins" I consider it as a perfect explanation of exercising your "freedom of will - whatever". You are free to do anything that you want but it should not affect anyone around you or else you'll have a problem.

It's easy to say that you are just exercising your "will power" but if it's going to affect anyone (specially if it's not for good) then you should control or avoid doing it.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does positive thinking affect your edge in gambling on: April 10, 2018, 06:24:23 AM
Positive thinking gives you an edge every time a person is gambling. Base on my experience, every time that you have doubts on your card, no matter how strong it is, you will end up losing the game because you are not confident. Especially in the game of poker, the other player will definitely feel that you are bluffing if you're not confident. You are also willing to take the risk if you are thinking positive, the more you try, the more chances of winning.

Do you mean pretending? I think it's what you mean, and not about "positive thinking".In card games, it's what you do most of the time, you hide the expressions in your face so your opponents cannot see your tactics.

I still believe that positive thinking has no effect in winning or losing. It could make you feel comfortable but won't add any "mojo" to your game.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Loosing motivation on: April 10, 2018, 05:45:26 AM
some people loosing her motivation maybe he/she discourage her superior from work because he/she did not receive a bonus or increase her salary.
example of how to motivate a persons when working on a large project we had a short deadline but they offered such a large bonus to finish early we found the motivation to get it done.

Yeah, incentives really makes a worker work harder. If a company could offer such extra pay to each worker, then probably everyone will work hard. Aside from that, a shorter working hours and more over time pay.

With regards to OP, I think that's normal. It's not about the "spark" it's about maturity. When you are growing/aging, the more knowledge/wisdom you will have. You will also become realistic with everything, compared to children who thinks too much about impossible things like magic.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: April 04, 2018, 09:07:07 AM
The bet reminded me that resistance is the key to winning, many games come back at last. Secondly, the bet has helped me find the right people to trust in my social life. Just as some teams are unreliable.

Do you mean gambling?

Well, you can really find many friends in gambling, just like the drunkards find their pals in gambling too most of the time. I believe that those are some of the good effect of gambling to gambler, they could find friends and they feel comfortable with them. But the bad thing about that is they are pulling you more and more into their position. They could also pull you to the wrong direction.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TIME MACHINE! on: April 04, 2018, 08:46:27 AM
I've read that article in google about an australian radio station and a tv that interview the guy who travel in time, but it doesn't impress me. It is possible that the guy is lying and it is said that the TV didn't show the actual result of lie detector test. It is also possible that it is just a way to hype their station.

But since they've mention that bitcoin will become a normal currency in the future, well, I continue to read it.  Cheesy
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: Culture on: April 04, 2018, 08:25:40 AM
Ya. I think it is a twin of humankind. It is not only in one country but everywhere. I wonder even simple games they use in gambling. Many form, many ways. It seems that life with out gambling is boring or games with out money involved is not exciting.

I think it's "boring life needs gambling"? Most of the gambling is from a game, a contest, it just so happen that they have to put a bet. Gambling is already part of the culture of so many people, it is already in their culture, any contest, that would amuse everyone, people will bet on it.

But gambling before is not as vicious as it is today. people value their money and properties too much before that if they are going to bet, it should be on something that is memorable and most of the time they themselves are at stake, and not just for the sake of raking money.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Two Child Policy on: April 04, 2018, 08:05:05 AM
Why not? If that's the only solution to the ever growing poverty in the world. But it should be done based on the yearly income of the family. If the parents are poor, don't have a good annual income then the government officials should inject them with contraceptives that is good for one year. If the parents is rich enough then they should be given a chance to have more children, but still depends on their annual income.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2018, 07:41:31 AM
I spent my money that I gained in bitcoin in buying my needs and necessity because my only earnings now in bitcoin is too small to buy my dream house and car maybe in the future I will buy those things in bitcoin.

Wow!!! your dream is too high. I think it is achievable if you would invest in bitcoin, trade, learn how the market is rolling and probably buy your own house and car ( which I think would took many months or probably year before you could do that )

I myself, is keeping all that I am earning since I have a day job and I don't think that I need that much money. But last December I was tempted to sell, and buy a few things that I want as a Christmas gift, but I don't do that often, usually just in December.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to stop smoking? on: April 04, 2018, 07:14:07 AM
Smoking can not be easily abandoned, it must be abandoned. The first thing that needs to be done is to fight with one's own mind, that is to say that I have to leave it anyway and know its harmful aspects and always Discuss with others.

Actually it would be easier if you would do it together with someone else, they could be a reason why you quit. Perhaps your girlfriend, he doesn't want to smell a bad breath, your boss, he doesn't want an employee who are smoker, or your family, your children, you don't want to leave them at early age?

See? it is easier that way than just quitting because you want it, probably it is possible if you are into strength training and smoking could weaken you.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever borrowed fiat to get btc? on: April 04, 2018, 06:45:35 AM
Not yet, since I still have enough money, (lucky, I'm still single).  Cheesy

I would only borrow money for btc if; I have a great plan to make more money out of it that I could compensate whatever I use and double it if possible. Any plan that would not give me sure money, well, I won't even try to borrow.

I'm wondering how will borrower told a lending company about his/her plans to use it to buy bitcoin. It looks like it is difficult at the moment.
18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Anger Management on: April 04, 2018, 06:27:32 AM
Honestly, I've been with people who needs to undergo anger management seminar (if there is)  Cheesy. They are easily angered with anything, from a simple erasure or wrongly placed items in their tables. Probably they are a bit tired or stressed.

So, with regards to your question OP, you can just ignore them. Patience is virtue, think of it, and you need a lot of it if you are working with them and with a company that don't have time to look at the situation of their workers. Most of the time there is an overload of work, too much for each worker.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: the effects of drugs on people... on: April 04, 2018, 05:45:47 AM
Drug abuse can cause a human brain to be fried. That is why a lot of drug addicts doesn't know what they were doing when they are high. It seems that they are in a different world and they thought that they are above the law. In our country, majority of the crimes are committed by a drug addict. It only shows that drugs are a major threat to the society and it should be stop by ANY means.

Well, that's true, solvents could really dry your brain. Not to mention that it's hallucinogenic effect of these drugs. No wonder why some drivers smash their cars into something because they've seen something.

If majority of the crime in your country was done by this drug addicts, I think something is wrong. Probably no one cares about drug addiction, or the government lacks the ability to control it. It is also possible that there is conspiracy  that is happening between the government and drug dealers.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: April 04, 2018, 05:26:07 AM
Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed

Will, there is a saying said that if not possible done by physical aspect by preventing all this but nothing improvement ,maybe its can handle by in  spiritual prayers,by means of faithfully praying that all your burdens  in becoming a gambling addiction will become diminished   and all wipe away, and your hearts will going back to purity, and all you can do this by heartly praying to the creator, thats all things will become alright and forgiven.

I don't really believe that praying could make you leave gambling, nor it can help you. Though, I believe that meditating could help strengthen your mind, and could strengthen your will to do something.

If you really want to stop gambling, it should be planned, step by step and slowly while quitting if you can't do it quickly. Just like when you are reducing weight, you don't do it quickly since you will have a hard time coping up in lowering your weight in the long run and just send you back to the start. Just do it slowly.
