481  Other / Off-topic / Re: WoW private servers (World of Warcraft) do you play and which server? on: February 14, 2015, 04:33:37 PM
I don't play WoW.
482  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: February 14, 2015, 04:32:58 PM
No one.
Video games are only a waste of time  Smiley
Agreed. Over 1000 days in WoW alone. Half my life wasted on the computer games...

Right now it's Diablo III.

1000 days?!! Wow.

And why does it matter?
484  Economy / Gambling / Re: -1 BTC to + 1 BTC playing DICE online with bitcoins on: February 14, 2015, 02:45:00 AM
Know someone who went from -1 BTC to + 1 BTC all time, it should feel good, shouldn't it?

Primedice only has a 1% edge so it is easy to recover a loss or to win a large amount before you are hit by variance.

If someone is going from -1 BTC to +1 BTC all the time , then it implies they also go from +1 to -1 , which isn't much of a winning .
Best to never chase losses.

He went from -1 BTC to + 1 BTC but playing small amounts.
Oh, yeah happens at times Tongue People get lucky. I wish I had that luck, 99% of the time, I just lose while chasing any losses.

If you win, you play more but if you lose you chase losses. I just wanted to show you could win Grin

Believe it or not but 49% of primedice players make a profit. Crazy to think about, isn't it?

Assuming everyone only plays once?

Has anyone worked with b!z on this one so far?

Yes.

Lol I haven't gotten a reply... It seems like he was just dangling a piece of meat on a pole for us. Xd

Sorry, but I'm only looking for fluent English writers.
486  Other / Off-topic / Re: A comparison of coins by looking at lines of code on: February 14, 2015, 02:07:43 AM
It's not the quantity but the quality Tongue I remember seeing some code posted up on the internet that was reportedly for a AAA game and even as someone who doesn't code as a main thing I found it horrific, it was just endless blocks of code that made no sense whatsoever, I'm talking about the formatting of it all and the use of classes for those who aren't very familiar which quite rightly is very important for doing projects so programmers can take a look at your code and help you.
Very true Smiley
How about a comparison by github activity?
What do you feel would be a good indicator of quality?

Is Pi2 going to be powerful enough for full Windows 10? I think it is going to be a slim down version of Windows, like RT on surface.

probably will run full windows

How big is that?

It's very small. Where did you get 4000x from? I really doubt that is true.

It probably refers to the number of ALL sites not accessible on the public web for whatever reason like company intranets etc., not ONLY Tor.

Just curious - do people still play this game a lot? I remember it used to be popular years ago.

497  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will Ulbricht Get A Life Sentence? on: February 11, 2015, 12:54:06 AM
Attempted murder is typically 10 years, not life sentence. So I don't think Ulbricht is going to be in jail for the rest of his life.

Thanks armchair lawyer.

500  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Tim hortons/Canadian gift cards on: February 10, 2015, 06:33:35 AM
I'm not sure anyone is going to be able to find those cards discounted let alone sell them below price.  Undecided
If anyone has any cards gotten from a gift or something  and they don't want to use it this would probably be the best option to sell.
Use Craigslist or something then.
