521  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: April 17, 2017, 05:33:47 AM
The best reason that I can say the Earth is round is because every single reputable scientist in existence will tell you that without hesitation, unless you find some pseudoscientific shill which I'm sure there are a few of in the world (but basically none).

Shockingly, the whole world isn't against you and it's not conspiring with schemes taking trillions of dollars to pretend that the Earth is round for no reason.  The Earth being flat is just a paranoid claim.
522  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you smoke weed? on: April 17, 2017, 05:29:43 AM
yes i do smoke weed a lot .it helps me to relieve my mind .
I'm sure you think you're the only one. All who see you think differently. Never drugs are not able to stimulate mental activity. If you think so then it only confirms my words.
Relieving and stimulating are not the same thing.  Clearly he was implying that it was calming.

I don't smoke it, just because it would be expensive and I don't want to throw money away into something that might harm me in the long term just for some quick fun.  Same reason I don't drink.
523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: April 16, 2017, 09:56:28 PM
Which coin should invest for future i m confused. . .
Holding
24 Ltc
7000Ripple
8200Tcc (the champcoin)
50k Dogecoins
Now which coin  to invest
Ehtereum classic
Madesafe
Augur
Sia coin where Guys please help me. . . .

Ethereum classic is a stable coin.  ETH developers and investors will keep dumping it so that the price goes up, but it won't really go down.  Maidsafe is a pretty solid investment but it's not a cryptocurrency as such.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: April 16, 2017, 09:49:03 PM
I bet some gamblers tried to quit gambling but they can't do and they just accepted the fact it's part of their life. Thinking in a positive way will overcome regarding this matter, even your into deep in gambling you can give up easily. Using any excuses will never help, everybody knows that gambling is something you can beat.

True, but mental illnesses should not be treated too differently to physical ones.  You could imagine someone with depression being told "it's all in your head"... well I guess when you drown it's "all in your lungs".  Gambling addiction is a serious problem which thousands of people suffer from every day.

526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What gambling method are you using for Dice? on: April 16, 2017, 09:38:52 PM
I don't have a gambling method when playing dice. I used my own strategy. And one of my favorite strategy is putting that win chance on 49.50 % and put a max bet. Its all-inn or nothing for me. Win big or go home. The other day, I used 10% winning chance and I got lucky winning 2x in a row and my bankroll increase because of  that winnings.
The method you mentioned is highly risky mate because going for all in with a single bet is a very strange and dangerous method. I have always been trying to gamble more longer and longer when I deposit money in any gambling site, using the strategy you mentioned first up will be very dangerous really.

Though yeah if you use 10% win chance and make multiple bets then indeed it will work as you can't expect too many losses at even 10% though at 10% I have personally seen like 25 losses in a row.
Can't really give a logic to gambling in a probability-based way.  The bet you put in will still be lost if you lose it over the course of 1000 tiny bets with a martingale strategy instead of just one.  It'll just spread out your losses and make them take longer before they inevitably happen.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: April 16, 2017, 09:36:40 PM
Gamble is played with the aim of earning more money.  Therefore, not earning money often leads people to try to cover up their losses by betting more and more.  Gambling addiction is the fault of gambling, even though I still think it's acceptable for people to do it.

It is not really that case all of the time. Sometimes people are just playing for fun therefore they dont really lose that many compared to people that play for profit. Im quite sure that the number of people that play for fun is relatively low compare to those that play for profit however Im sure that there will be many more in the future when they realize that it is for entertainment
Playing for fun is subconsciously playing for profit though.  It's basically just playing for the adrenaline, which is from the possibility of winning more money as well as the uncertainty of whether you'll win or lose.  It's more than just fun, it's what the the cause of you having fun actually is.
528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how strong is bitcoin really? on: April 16, 2017, 09:30:27 PM
Bitcoin is inherently strong and also very immutable, which is why the scaling debate isn't going anywhere.

The good thing is that it transfers the responsibility from evil banks to the user.  So if anything is hacked, it's not Bitcoin's fault, it's the user's fault.  Hence why Mt. Gox collapsing doesn't mean that Bitcoin was hacked, it means that they were.
529  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: UK Bitcoin Blog on: April 16, 2017, 09:19:08 PM
Your blog is entirely centered around Ponzi schemes.  It's basically an unofficial HYIP monitor except even the creator is painfully naive and puts money into "cloud mining" companies that will clearly later scam everyone and run off with the money.
530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: April 16, 2017, 09:15:10 PM
IF  bitcoin is banned sure it have many would go on petition and get angry to one who make a banned ,but they still on bitcoin,. I think if it will happen it maybe they would still continue to bitcoin but secretly. If will happen it become in demand and i think the price and the value become higher. But impossible to happen because today was an access of internet they difficult them to do that if they going to ban.
but i do not thing that such kind of situation will ever happen. as bitcoin is still not consider as legal currency by any state but still people ar using it, so i do not think that the government will banned bitcoin i think people will pay no attention to them and will continue using bitcoin very smoothly.
You're sort of right.  It won't be banned by most countries until they actually see it as a significant enough threat to do so.  I think it's in most countries' interests to ignore it for now since they try to pretend to encourage freedom.  If it was banned though, it would be pointless because people who actually want to do illegal things would hide themselves from being tracked and people who were trying to do legal things with it would stop because they'd be terrified of getting caught.
531  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say bye to Triple Digits on: April 16, 2017, 09:10:09 PM
Triple digits might be on their way soon due to the mess ups from the Tether dollar and the trouble with Bitfinex right now.  After that fiasco is behind us, then we'll say goodbye for the long term.
532  Economy / Speculation / Re: "The price of your bitcoin is 1000 times overvalued" on: April 16, 2017, 09:06:20 PM
Do not fall in this FUD, because that is what it is, nothing else. I would not say we have a lack of bussinesses accepting Bitcoin when we can count Amazon, Steam, Microsoft, Lamborghini and many more.

There are still quite a lot of businesses that first accepted btc and after a short period of time they dont want it anymore because of its volatility.
There are quite a lot of people have different plans of implementing bitcoin. Only the volatile nature and the user base are the one that are responsible for the price variation. So nothing seems to be overvalued,  the growth is a stabilized one.

It seems like eventually whether we like it or not, Bitcoin will BECOME the centralized currency, or something digitally equivalent.  A type of universally accepted currency is a way to make the world function more efficiently and it's probably not long before a group of suits declares themselves the "New World Bitcoinologysts" hehe.
.  I don't suggest the fulfilling of any prophecies but I think it is happening anyway.   Perhaps it will have a less sinister undertone than the massses are expecting.  Who knows?
Being accepted doesn't make it centralised.  It is unfortunate that Bitcoin pretty much is going to naturally become more centralised as time goes on, but a master currency having a lot of money doesn't inherently make it centralised.
533  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: April 16, 2017, 09:01:47 PM
Now is a good time to buy during the slight correction that's still going on right now before a rise a bit higher.  We'll be hovering below about $1250 for a while but there are some good day trading opportunities from these slight pumps, resistance and corrections which have pretty clear tops and bottoms to sell and buy in respectively.
534  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin by Christmas 2018? (POLL) on: April 16, 2017, 08:59:52 PM
$2000 it's a very good price to start a new year. But am sure that it won't last for long, the price will start growing much faster than we think. But I hope soon it will be more stable.
I disagree, $2000 would be an absolute maximum and I expect a strong resistance of around $1800 about then.
535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will get half million dollars prices by 2030 : Blockchain.info CEO on: April 16, 2017, 08:57:47 PM
The growth is too much, required for $500,000. How can this be possible? please somebody explain. I don't get how this is "realistically possible". Everything is possible, but this is far from "realistically". I hope it is right, but I highly doubt it. It would be the highest marketcap in the world.... almost impossible.
It wouldn't be the highest market cap in the world.  What would be required for it to happen is for Bitcoin's market cap to reach parity with that of gold and a bit higher.  That's more than possible if Bitcoin became viewed as a stable asset more than a currency and it was used for the purposes that they mentioned, such as expats sending money back home.

It's not likely that everyone will use it, but a more significant amount of money than now will definitely be put into it.
536  Economy / Speculation / Re: Coindesk: If hardfork with BTU, major exchanges will list it as an Alt Coin on: April 16, 2017, 08:54:46 PM
As per Coindesk: In the event of a hardfork with BTU, major exchanges will list BTU as BTU or XBT.

Source: http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-exchanges-unveil-emergency-hard-fork-contingency-plan/

Let me repeat this, BTU will be an ALT COIN NOT BITCOIN!

Expect prices to drop.
You can bet they are going to fight over the name, since they will argue they are the real bitcoin if they get enough hash power to attempt a hard fork, that will not be true of course, but they are going to still argue for it because the one that keeps the name will probably win a little popularity.

I doubt there will be any kind of fork any time soon if ever.
It's still reason to question what would happen if a hard fork actually occurred.  And at the time that they made the statement, the hard fork was appearing more imminent than it is now that I've concluded a consensus will never be reached.
537  Economy / Speculation / Re: People selling alts to go back in BTC on: April 16, 2017, 08:46:12 PM
It looks like to me that bitcoin and altcoins (top 5 ) are organs of a same body or better put it this way as their marketcaps are in sync and they share their marketcap like when BTC drops ETH and DASH/ MONERO and others increase as well but recently some whales went on ETH full frenzy simply by changing hands giving their bitcoins in exchange for ETH but then when ETH started to rise the same people now were holding bitcoins panicked and because of FOMO they went back into buying those ETH tokens and got literally manipulated by BTC whales and further in the road some people started to invest their fiat into ETH/ DASH and artificially pumped air into the bubble.

I mean damn these bitcoin whales arer smart eh?
To be fair the lines between Bitcoin and altcoin market caps are starting to fade and they're getting more independent.  I think it's a really good thing if it does happen because it shows that altcoins are starting to get viewed as separate coins instead of just ideas of things to trade with Bitcoin.
538  Economy / Economics / Re: What is some of the best crypto technology to invest in on: April 16, 2017, 08:43:02 PM
I would recommend invest in to enthereum, because it is so long on current market and the price always changes. Ethereum have a really nice market cup and a lot of investor
We have to suggest him about ethereum if he is looking for short term investment because in ethereum there is not much services so any time if the investors started to sell then the price will fall while bitcoin is now widely used for different services by different companies so it has a strong base.
Ethereum is only on its way down now, the pump is over and while I don't think it's getting dumped, it's definitely not going much higher, at least for a long time.
539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how many people here are using tether? on: April 16, 2017, 08:39:43 PM
Damn, loads of people are using Tether to hold their coins through all the instability right now.  If it properly fails it would cause a huge drop in the Bitcoin price along with Bittrex.
540  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you really make money on Forex? on: April 16, 2017, 07:57:14 PM
Anyone tried or currently trading forex is it possible to make money on it?
I think its just a normal trading but in forex that is the biggest company in trading so I think yes because the pumping and dumping of coin there is so huge. And I think you can make money from forex just like any trading sites but you can loss some money there too. So I think you need to decide to invest there or not.

you are mistaking Forex market with something else and i have no idea what it is you are talkinga bout.
forex is foreign exchange market and it is where you trade currencies, the real currencies such as USD, EUR, CNY,... and it is a global market. there is no pump and dump, that is for shitaltcoins.

here read this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_exchange_market

He must have mistaken forex trading to cryptocurrency trading. Forex trading is also different to stocks trading since what is being exchanged here are the fiat currency and the word forex comes from the word foreign exchange which is the exchange between the fiat currencies in the world. But just like crypto trading sites forex trading also works that way but with the absence of pump and dump and shitcoins.
Forex trading and cryptocurrency trading aren't actually that different.  The only difference is that cryptocurrencies often don't have real use cases or stability for more than a couple of years at a time, but they're still both very high risk trades relating to the use of currencies.
