how we could motivate women to use Bitcoin because I tried several times to explain what it is and how to use Bitcoin ...was very difficult and have not really managed only once ..
Hello I am a woman and I use Bitcoin. I think perhaps this is not so much about women, but about general members of the public engaging with bitcoin. There is a perceived and perhaps real technical hurdle for some people in using crypto currencies. My best advice is to start with people who show some interest and explain a little about what bitcoin actually is and also help set them up with a trading account and an forum account. And of course bitcoin is an exciting alternative to some of the corruption we witness with other currencies. Every girl loves a revolutionary!

Hello again,
In response to questions regarding the NAV team. I have been away the past few weeks and working on Nav’s new charity. Happy to say that I am back working on NAV more. While Craig’s dev time is reduced due to his job he is still committed to the decentralisation project. As regards Soopy and his involvement in other alt currencies, Soopy is not involved in the decentralisation project as Craig is the lead developer on that. whatever his involvement in other coins is, he has assured us that they do not involve NAV’s anonymous technology. As previously mentioned it is a the sole property of NAV coin. And of course our other 2 members are committed as ever.

Hi all,
Some good questions here. To clarify. Charles’s Cambridge who runs the charity we are supporting, though a Navajo tribe member is not one of the elders living in impoverished conditions. He has been built a NAV wallet address and is receiving and exchanging the coins into US currency. You’ll be able to read a full write up about Kimochi on our website. This is not our main business strategy. This is a charity that we believe in and would like to support. We are called NAV coin now .The donations system is in support of the tribe and other indigenous groups but not aligned to it on a brand level. Although we always tell our NAV community things first. This is aimed at the wider digital community as well. While it is not our primary business strategy, we do think it will be of benefit to the coin. Our strategy is, increasing the trading markets we are part of, and releasing features the decentralised anonymous system.
Thanks, Sophia

A Feeling of Goodwill NAV coin is pleased to announce their support of Navajo archeologist Dr. Charles Cambridge, and his non profit organisation Kimochi, in building sustainable housing for Navajo tribe elders.
Myself and the NAV team feel very strongly about helping Kimochi and the Navajo tribe. We think it’s important to support indigenous people to live on their land, and to assist and show respect for the tribal elders who face freezing winters with no electricity or running water.
We’re really happy that the NAV coin has been chosen as the currency for Kimochi donations. It is one of the most practical and direct charities we have come across, with vey intelligent ideas and education behind it.
With NAV being the main vehicle of digital donations for this program, we look forward to seeing our trading volumes rise as people give generously to this worthy cause.
About Charles Cambridge
Charles Cambridge is a Navajo archeologist and doctoral candidate in anthropology at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He runs a non profit organization called Kimochi, that has helped tribal peoples all around the world.
What they want to do
Charles' current priority is to help Navajo elders to repair fences and chop wood to burn during the cold winters. Most Navajo elders do not have anyone to help them since they live in very isolated areas of the reservation. Many of their children or grandchildren are not able to provide meaningful assistance. Alone and without electricity or running water, many Navajo elders need help in living on their land.
For much of his life, Cambridge has dreamed of developing a solar Hogan to make life easier for Navajos who want to live in their old age on the reservation, which required coping with harsh weather and often no electricity or running water.
He persisted in his pursuit of his vision until three demonstration hogans using different types of solar technology were completed on the university of Colorado campus. Cambridge arranged for George Bluehorse, a shiprock, New Mexicao Medicine man to bless the shelters.

How you can help him achieve it
You can donate NAV coins to Charles' Cambridge's official NAV wallet address to help his foundation and the Navajo tribe.
The address will be added to the NAV website tomorrow along with more detailed information about his projects.
Best, Sophia

Hi guys,
There's been a few questions about orange coin. And I'm happy to give you guys some answers. Orange coin isn't associated with Nav coin, although Soopy has told us that he's a consultant developer on the project. Nav's anon system belongs to the Nav team legally and will not be implemented on orange coin. The orange coin system is the masternodes system which I talked about previously on the forum. It is unlike Navajo in that it is not fully anonymous and doesn't use subchain technology.
The fact remains that for many months the lead dev of NAV has been spending almost all his online time on a side project, very similar to his main one. Meanwhile, there have been no significan tangible advancements on the main project. Only roadmaps and deadlines that are moved forward. No matter how you put it, it looks bad. And yes I know. We have no right to tell anyone how to spend their time on their projects. They have been with us from the start and spent a huge amount of time etc. Nobody doubts that, BUT you cannot use this argument all the time. It has grown old and it is just a method of avoiding the issue after all. I hope you understand I am not trying to be hostile. Just saying what people think Hi bspus, Thanks for your honestly. Totally understand what you are saying and that you are not meaning to be hostile. Craig has taken over as lead developer on the decentralisation project and I've never know him to flake out before; He did a fantastic job when he took over as lead on the anon system. I consider the decentralisation to be the most important project that Nav currently has and I am 100 % certain that he will deliver. He has been open about his work hours on the job and been regularly committing work to github. Soopy's lead project Bip32 won't affect the release of Nav's main project But to be clear, BIP32 is not a requirement for decentralisation so the speed of its development will not slow down the release schedule for the decentralised anonymous network which is our main focus in the short term.

How different is Navajo Anon compared with Soopy's ''help'' on Masternodes in his parallel project ''Orangecoin''?
Regular masternodes, such as the ones used by darkcoin and orangecoin don't offer total security, merely an extra layer of difficulty for anyone trying to trace your money. A masternode is essentially a user who the coin bounces through. However the NAV system is fully anonymous and secure. Thanks for the prompt response! Welcome to the team. A very good question juguelio. So in summery, sophia, are you saying that essentially dash, orangecoin, and vnl are not anonymous? like they are just normal coins with camouflage, and all transactions can be traced with minimal effort? Is there a way to prove they have inferior coding compared to nav? I've heard dash has a flaw but i have not witnessed it personally. And i just tossed vnl in there because it seems to me they are kind of competition to nav (before decentralization of course). Hi djselery, No, they are not anonymous coins and they are traceable; though with an added degree of difficulty. They are essentially just a coin mixer and if someone analysed the block chain hard enough they could trace the transactions. The best source to look at the detail of the Nav code would be our white paper. http://www.navajocoin.org/files/navajo_whitepaper_march2015.pdf Happy reading

Hi,
Yes I am new the bitalk forum. My background is in Marketing and business strategy: pitching ideas to corporates, creative marketing, and brand strategy.
I became interested in crypto currencies two years ago because I think it’s the way of the future, and began trading and investing in altcoins. I consider NAV to be one of the most promising alt coins because of its fully anonymous transactions system and innovative use block chain technology.
Earlier in the year I worked with Craig to set up his crypto currency lectures in Australia, NZ, and Taipei. I’m helping the NAV team with the release of their business strategy around the release of the API decentralisation, and helping them get articles on their technology published. Feel free to ask me any direct questions. I’ll be on the forum a bit as well if you’ve got any questions about NAV and how the projects are going.
