running the math on this, the IPO price point is expensive and quite frankly a little greedy. A top 10 market cap basically before launch? That's an awfully optimistic valuation
The math you're running is faulty. Show me your calculations and I'll show you a back of the envelope calculation that disproves your premise. Your argument: Premise 1: The IPO price point will get syscoin to the top 10 in terms of market cap. Conclusion 1: The developers are greedy Not only is this a faulty argument, but if the 1500 BTC worth of pre-sale is 15% then 100% equals a market cap of: 0.15x = 1500 x= 10000 BTC which is a top 14. Top 14 Does not equal Top 10. Its not even top 14 at launch it would currently be 35th, he is talking about the market cap at launch which is only roughly $1,160,000 at ipo price assuming all of the presale sells, after 60 days of mining it will still only be roughly $1,350,000 at ipo price, if the presale doesnt sell out it will be even less. I dont know why everyone is valuating this coin as if all 2 billion coins will be generated at launch It's basically dumb fuck math. If you used the same math on VIAcoin before launch you would of had a valuation of about 6 million dollars....if you include all the coins that are intended to be mined, yet right now it gives 400% of original IPO price.....how can this be!!!!!!! omg!!!!!111!!!!!!!! Oh yeah it's dumb fuck math I agree that my calculation is of no real use to investors. It is a back of the envelope calculation. I can't stress that enough. Since I can't predict the future I should only calculate the Cap after a week or a month at most, and then be horribly wrong when that date arrives. We can't know the price of BTC at launch. I just wanted to call out the other guy for faulty calculations. These facts help my case.

Let's just say,
Intel i7 (2.00GHz) 4gb ram 1080p laptop scren Nvidia gt540m
It does well enough when games aren't concerned. It's 3 years old, and can't really keep up with running all I want it to run.
The CPU overheats the whole system but it being a laptop I dread having to unscrew screws for hours just to change the thermal compound.
A good, gaming quality pad barely does the trick and I have used compressed air many times.
I'm thinking of getting an ASUS_ROG laptop but I don't know if they last long...

Yes, most altcoins are shit however we do need innovation more than anything.
Perhaps something that is more energy efficient then bitcoin, or something with more advanced features, better code, more efficient at data, more scalable.
It is clear when something is just a money grab and one has to be infinitely critical of new coins, and approach them not to profit, but to see innovation, because innovation does help everyone in the end.
That being said, well though critical post on shitcoin ann posts need to be made, and that's where the forum members come in! (and perhaps good journalists).

I have lost lots of money on coinex, and after a few months I see that no progress has been made. I am ready to offer a 10 btc bounty on this guy (Vitaliy Sorokin). Hope other people will join me, if we can make it high enough maybe somebody serious will get interested and will be able to track down and eliminate this scumbag from the face of the earth.
That's not the way to get your money back. However my 2 cents are this: If you want something to get done properly you have to do it yourself. You can't trust others easily cause they might give you away to the authorities. You might lose your money trying to hire a killer or you might get picked up by the authorities. Maybe get help to track him down, then eliminate him yourself, Killing people is way easier than people think. Get a small amount of a highly radioactive metal, dissolve it in a solution, and inject it into the victim. Get a strong alpha emitter, it's going to be harmless to carry but when injected, deadly and nearly untraceable.

Don't forget about jury nullification. If you as a juror decide a law is unjust or unconstitutional, it is your right under law to declare the defendant not guilty in spite of the law. Of course the judge and prosecutor will tell you otherwise, because their pensions depend on regular convictions, court fees, and seizures.
Do you have to keep the idea of nullification under wraps? Revealing your intentions would definitely reveal bias...

The north has been moving Norther and Norther (closer to the pole from somewhere in Canada).
The weakening of the magnetic field is worrying, it would probably mean that we need to build our satellites way more resiliently armored against radiation (so our astronauts don't get cooked with it).
But the field is always in flux, we need to find a way to get historical data to examine this further.

Well, the martingale method doesn't work if the chances are fair or negative.
Which is to say that it doesn't work if the bet is fair.
Interestingly it seems to give the house an edge as when you lose, you lose big.
I would bet good money that it was invented by a casino to earn more cash.

It doesn't really matter.
I didn't read the whole thing as I don't hold vice in the highest esteem when it comes to matters that require more thought than "Look at this cool thing we're filming". This sensationalism on their part is probably not malicious.
Given enough pressure they'll correct themselves.
Bitcoin is one of those things that are so beneficial to the many that cannot be stopped by a little bad publicity. From when I started using it I can't imagine myself going through all the trouble of banks to do most of my online stuff.

Exchange Bitcoin elites for Dollar elites Result = fucking same
Not really, with bitcoin elites there can be more transparency as well as more equality as there is no money printing (well technically there is, according to mining power). But we have control of our money rather than having to trust the elites (banks) to play nice. (Which they don't) So the result goes slightly in the right direction. Result = Slightly improved, like an inch.

Running 1000 miles over the course of your lifetime is not a big achievement.
Running one thousand miles at once is.
Mr. Kouros holds the record for 1000 miles run! He finished 24 hours faster than anyone I think.
So if you don't control 100 Bitcoins, you're not in the fictional bitcoin 100 club.
As long as you're in the above 10 Bitcents club you're a big player in my opinion.

Gutted for Greece - they are true warriors, far too stubborn to simply leave the competition without a fight.
Costa Rica did well, I can't get my head around how they managed with 10 men for so long, then come up with penalties like that. Absolute masterclass in penalty taking.
Their energy levels are insane. Against Italy even after 80th minute they were pressing and closing down hard. I'm Greek and I have to say that our goalkeeper seemed really distracted. Costa Rica's goalkeeper on the other hand is amazing, he is like a real life spiderman!

Is this a prediction for just this year (new record low this year) or a prediction forever (it'll never go below this year)?
It is a non-scientific guesstimation for breaking the summer low record at around september 10. I'm basing it on the exponentially lower summer minimums of arctic ice and the extra CO2 and methane on the atmosphere + Historical and current data. It is not, however based on any models, equations, or scientific fact. More like calling a bet. Edit: So the prediction is just for this year and not forever.
