I would prefer to see bitcoin go forward as a currency that can be used globally but as it stands just now it is mainly traded for profit. As long as there is still fiat it will always get converted back for profit.

If you lose that much you should really stop gambling maybe when bitcoin was worth a dollar it would not have been so bad but now that is a crazy amount.

Now would be a good time to buy in as prices have fallen. Unfortunately if you want to wait there is a fair chance it will rise again.

More business accepting bitcoin is the answer. As more and more people start to use bitcoin so the need grows with that comes price rises. Supply and demand.

I think this was to be expected after the fork. We see hundreds wiped off the value of bitcoin now and it will more than likely recover welcome to the rolercoster that is bitcoin.

Is it just me or are most of these fud spreaders just hurt because they weren't part of it. We know if bitcoin does drop dramatically these wolves will be the first there.

Bitcoin is this centuries gold rush. Just like gold it is finite there will only ever be twenty one million bitcoin when it all mined. Over time that number will decrease as coins die with owners and lost coins. Logistical speaking it is easier to store bitcoin than gold. Now bitcoin has made some people very rich by adopting early many of us now just want to emulate that.

The name is not patented but we all know the true bitcoin. Others may try and ride on the back of its success and will ultimately fail.

To me in the last couple of weeks with the impending bitcoin gold fork seemed to whip up the price of bitcoin as many were trading alts to capitalise on the fork. Bitcoin cash showed us that we could get something for nothing.

We will have to wait and see what bitcoin gold is going to offer us.

I think the best thing to do is to wait and see how this all unfolds. I'm sure everyone likes the idea of something for nothing just watch out you don't get burnt.

I would be wary of people offering courses in block chain expecially if it includes you paying for it. Just learn everything you can.

This just shows how important the seed is to keep safe. It is most important it is kept secure even more so now that bitcoin has such a high worth. Your friend must be feeling very bad about been scammed like this.

I see bitcoin as a long term investment I buy when low and keep doing that. In between that I will do small trades. I looks to be now that if you have alot of money you can nearly be guaranteed good returns just trading in the space of a couple of hours.

The rolercoster that is bitcoin its crazy how much it can go up and down in a matter of days. While price is high buy alts because they are usually down if they up buy bitcoin. Just don't panic.

Most of the people that hold bitcoin do so as they see it as an investment some have sold while price is high others are holding because we don't know where it will be next month nevermind next year they are gambling on the big cash outs.

I took what was on exchange and put into wallet. I kinda forgot about some last fork round. At least I can control it now.

This looks like a good strategy just be careful you will have to buy sell at the right point. Hopefully you get your bitcoin this way.

It will take a while before all the bitcoin is mined but miners will sill operate as they are needed for transactions. It is not something to worry about.

I think most are of the view that they will sell their bitcoin gold at the earliest opportunity. If this is your plan I would buy more bitcoin although you are buying at high prices it should still hold value after the dust settles after bitcoin gold.
