Difficulty increased today to 21335329.114

Even harder to mine now...

Hehe, it's like age, highly unlikely to roll backward. But seriously, it's not that bad.. yet! LOL
205  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL SC Singles running smoothly. ~59 GH/s each at 278 watts each on: June 28, 2013, 11:54:56 PM
From what mining platform or monitoring tool are you pulling these images?
I assume the top one is a pool? But the bottom one? TIA

The top one is btcguild.  The bottom one is not a mining thing.  I have do-it-your-self internet-enabled power/energy monitoring in my home and this is one of the dashboards for that data.

Major thumbs up!!

The "fast" worker includes a 5.5 GH/s jalapeno as well:

Power usage: 440 watts on that circuit before plugging in the two singles, 996 watts after = 556 watts for the pair = 278 watts each on average:

207  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Best way to get funds on paypal directly with BTC on: June 28, 2013, 05:59:38 PM
With the suspension of fastcash4bitcoins, i'm now clueless as to how to get funds directly to Paypal. The services left are all young and untrust worthy.
Any known service that provides this?

Probably best to find a trusted buyer to send you personal payments via PP - until this whole thing clears up, if it does.

If you have reputation, perhaps #bitcoin-otc?

Otherwise, sell local for cash?

209  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to build confidence with girls ? on: June 28, 2013, 01:47:36 PM
I am at uni and usually I am alright with girls but the ones at uni are ok but they can think a lot of themselves but the guys I hang around can just talk to them and hang around with them.

And you thought seeking help from a community of geeks on this forum would help you?

OK.. here's my advice: buy them and say "come here pum'kin, I got sumthin' sweet for ya" - they love it.

211  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: June 28, 2013, 01:30:34 AM
There are many concerns with what is being proposed here from new chip design perspective. Am I the only one reading between the lines?

213  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] labcoin ASIC project - v.1 @180nm - v.2 @65nm - European / Chinese Team on: June 27, 2013, 06:08:33 AM
Why bother with 180nm technology?
Or 65nm technology for that matter?
Why would a chip / bitcoin miner manufacturer buy Avalons?
It just doesn't pass the sniff test.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Feathercoin to partner with other leading alt currencies on: June 27, 2013, 05:58:16 AM
How about doing a new video on how FTC was 51% attacked 3 times, forked, had thousands of coins stolen, and then afterwards was heavily manipulated and artificially overvalued by a few individuals.

+1

216  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] KnC Jupiter Preorder May 13 on: June 26, 2013, 07:06:06 PM

Indeed. Confirming that buying unpaid pre-orders is no longer allowed, apparently since June 10. KnC communicates poorly and should not be trusted. Locking this thread - nothing to sell here.
217  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] KnCMiner Order #2029 (made on 26 April 2013) on: June 26, 2013, 07:04:38 PM
My response from KNC says that these unpaid invoices will not receive priority queue, and will be placed in order that payment is made.

I am now confirming the same. KnC communicates poorly and should not be trusted.
218  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] KnCMiner Order #2029 (made on 26 April 2013) on: June 26, 2013, 05:38:08 PM
Pre-order spots were only held for the first 1-500 batch. That batch has already filled. Now shipping order is determined by when you pay:

We would like to make it clear that orders which are not paid will not be given a place in the shipping queue until they are successfully paid for.

Not according to the email thread I have with Emilia at KnC. I'm assured I can transfer my pre-order slot to another email address, and yes it does require order payment to initiate the transfer.

So, let me get this straight:

You are selling your place in line on an unpaid unit for about $1,000 USD? That seems a bit much, don't you think?

I'm selling my May 13 unpaid pre-order slot for 1 Jupiter, if anyone is looking to spend a lot less:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227005.0
