1  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Using Armory on the BCH chain on: December 20, 2017, 10:48:02 PM
Hey PeZ, when you did this does the transaction completed or you should copy the tx raw data and transmit to online service?
I have fully sinced bitcoin ABC and i want to execute the transaction through armory with the BCH signer.

Also do you see the correct BCH balance on armory when running against bitcoin ABC.

Thanks

ENTE
I am uncertain if bitcoind is in the default path and whether or not its running. In Armory Settings (from the dropdown File menu) the checkbox is selected for "Let Armory run Bitcoin Core/bitcoind in the background". Where is the default location Armory is looking for bitcoind? Should I specifically select a location within settings for the "Bitcoin Install Dir:" or "Bitcoin Home Dir:"?
This is what I do/did. I had previously emptied my BTC from my main wallet. Some BCH got stuck as change when I transferred it away, so I installed Bitcoin ABC in a separate directory.
Uncheck the box that lets Armory run bitcoin core. It will find it, if it is running - as long as your firewall is not blocking it.
Keep separate directories for Bitcoin ABC data and Bitcoin Core data and copy the Armory wallet to another directory, but remove the database directory for when you use it with Bitcoin ABC.
If you want to run Bitcoin, do it with a shortcut e.g. "D:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe" -datadir="D:\BitcoinData" -disablewallet
When synced, run Armory with the shortcut that I mention in the previous post. Follow the directions on the first page.
Not sure if this is the easiest method, but it worked. I am using Windoze, but other OS's should have something similar.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Please advise. Moving from Armory to trezor (BTC,BCH and BTG) on: December 20, 2017, 05:45:01 PM
Thanks for the answer

I will try to send the BCH through armory with the bitcoin ABC node as i already sync that. And at the end i will use coinomi for BTG and send them to my trezor.

You will probably need to export your private-keys into a different wallet to spend the other coins, as Armory only supports the original Bitcoin. If you don't to risk your Bitcoins while claiming the other fork coins, empty your wallet by sending your Bitcoins to a new wallet before importing your old keys into a not so reliable wallet.

Here are the methods I used to claim my coins after each fork:

To claim the BCH:
- Export your private keys and import them in a supported wallet such as Electron Cash (recommended);

To claim the BTG (you will need an android device):
Quote
First, confirm your BTG balance on https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin%20gold/address/<YOUR-ADDRESS-HERE>
go to https://www.bitaddress.org "Wallet Details"
put your BTC private key and press View Details (careful: make sure you are on the right site! I downloaded it from their github and ran it locally to be safe)
Install Coinomi (only available for Android)
Create a new wallet and add BTG, then choose Sweep Wallet
Swipe the QR Code "Private Key WIF 51 characters base58, starts with a '5'
DONE!!!

Always try first with a low value address, dont trust anyone when playing with private keys

3  Bitcoin / Armory / Please advise. Moving from Armory to trezor (BTC,BCH and BTG) on: December 20, 2017, 04:24:17 PM

Hi guys,
as the subject of this question says i need to move my BTC BCH and BTG from my armory wallet to Trezor.

Can anyone tell me what is the safest way to do this without exposing my private key to other wallets?

I was reading that first i should send my BTC to trezor, then i need to sign with BCH signer to send my BCH to trezor, but i cant find how to send BTG from armory. Is this the correct sequence for doing this or?

Thanks in advance
