121  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to buy ~2.8 Bitcoins $12 Per coin on: November 18, 2012, 06:45:36 PM
Dumb dumb scammer, you do know it says "Scammer" under your name right?
122  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] X6500 FPGA Miner Rev. 3 on: November 18, 2012, 04:42:21 PM
Don't buy from him unless he posts a picture of an x6500 FPGA and a note with his forum name written on it in the pic. Also use escrow for any BTC transactions. The guy apparently had like 20 units or so for sale and sold them all within 24 hours posting here when asked for proof of having the units.
123  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is he trying to scam me? on: November 18, 2012, 02:24:53 AM
Yeah, I mean it's pretty clear this dude was scamming and the shithammer that BCB brought was warranted.

Are you serious!

I side with the vendor.
No one was trying to scam anyone. The op was simply impatient.

BCB should reserve his resources for real scam victims.

Dude, you tried to scam him and got burned yourself. Now give it up and move on. Tongue
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: November 17, 2012, 09:15:10 PM

Thank you, but do you have more Huh
What is the site that shows you that graph? I would love to check it out. Smiley
125  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICs any proof they are coming for ANY of the companies? on: November 16, 2012, 03:48:58 PM
I have not seen any proof yet, but I check this forum everyday for hopes of seeing something from any company. I don't even care which company shows a unit hashing, just damn man someone let me see it hashing!  Angry
126  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] X6500 FPGA Miner Rev. 3 on: November 15, 2012, 08:19:49 PM
You should probably post a picture off your units with a piece of paper that has your forum name written on it. You know, to prove you have these units at least. Smiley
127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DeepBit pool thread for newbies on: November 10, 2012, 05:52:27 PM
I can't send a payment for some reason. I choose to send a payment, it gives me the message saying that my payment was sent, but then my balance is still the same and the transaction never shows up in my wallet. This has been happening all morning today. I'm not sure what's wrong.
Payments take up to 24 hours to send. No fear! :d
128  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Coinabul: The first bitcoin to gold exchange. on: November 07, 2012, 06:41:15 PM

129  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [bobitza wants] ACTUAL btcfpga.com bASIC PCB pictures? on: November 02, 2012, 11:47:50 AM
Now I am curious what his rental space used to be. A place that fights traffic tickets and such? A cash pay day place?  Huh
130  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Epiks - If you were scammed by him please read! (Don't trade with him) on: October 29, 2012, 02:26:48 PM
I remember this thread being A LOT bigger of an OP? CoinCleaner, did you edit this once you were able to scam someone? You initially had written about knowing Epiks IRL? Pathetic.

Google has it starting like this: Hello all, I personally know epiks and I need to tell you what happened. He has asked me to share this. Some of you knew him and knew he was very well

This:

Hello all,

I personally know epiks and I need to tell you what happened. He has asked me to share this.

Some of you knew him and knew he was very well trusted. He always did honest trades and never once even had a "hiccup" with a transaction.

Point is, he is a good guy.

(This is epiks talking aka Jeff)

Hey guys, during the period where a member (I hope there was only one and not more) got scammed by my account I had been on vacation with my girlfriend. We were in hawaii for two weeks and I didn't even have my computer. I normally spend 14+hrs a day on my computer so I promised my girlfriend (now fiancee) that I would not bring my computer. The vacation would be all about us.

During this period we had her brother house sit for us (my future brother in law)

I came home to find  that my big screen TV was pawned, my nice clothes were gone, my desktop, dedicated server unit, and laptop....ALL GONE.

I didn't file a police report because my fiancee begged me not to.

All my passwords were stored on my computer so he had complete access. So not only did he drain my paypal account, he also was fu**ing around here on my bitcointalk account. He was the one who scammed, not me, aka the real epiks.

HOWEVER, I take complete and full responsibility. Even tho it wasn't myself who did it, I still feel responsible since it was done thru my account and it was my stupid mistakes like leaving his passwords stored that helped him gain access to my accounts.

I want to make this right. If the "epiks" account did you wrong in any way, please contact me at ccphazed@gmail.com

Even tho my paypal is already drained and now limited, hopefully I can make things up to you by eventually returning your money and hopefully a little extra to show my sorrow for what happened.

Again, I did not do the scamming but I take responsibility because it was still done under my name. Something that could have been avoided if I had not stored passwords or left my computer around a known thief (you never think family would steal from you....that was also a mistake to thinkk that)

So please, if you were scammed, contact me at ccphazed@gmail.com, tell me what happened and I;ll try and work things out. I could have just walked away and said f*ck it. But I didn't, my morals would not allow it. I couldn't with a clear conscious let this go unfixed.

Again, mail me all the details and amounts and we will get this fixed. Just please be honest, im hoping a bunch of ppl dont pop up that werent even scammed just looking for a payment. And please be honest with the amounts. I plan on paying back extra, im not rich at the moment but you WILL be paid back in full + extra for the trouble.

PLEASE NOTE* I still do NOT have access to that account (epiks) or the email. So DO NOT trade with him! Do not even respond to him if he contacts you. Its not the REAL epiks. I Can send you a picture of my drivers license showing I'm the real Jeffrey.

Nice, good work. I was trying to figure out the damn google cache. Sad

132  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Can Police Trace a Money Pak? CoinCleaner Scammed $500. on: October 29, 2012, 01:59:26 PM
I should have - I definitely didn't come prepared. I'd never bothered to learn BitCoin so everything at once, then BoA said it would be a four day transfer then Dwolla said four days I said cmon, I can get a MoneyPak in four minutes.

But it turns out Money Pak isn't going to cover your ass for nothin. You already knew that about PayPal. I think I'll press charges only to try to sue for performance, ie. he award me damages in BTC. That would give the community some of the press it needs..

He's been logging in every hour too, even though he was going to work but taking a nap first. Or something. I cleared my schedule for this so I might as well get all the petty enjoyment I can for $500.
I wish you the best mate. Sucks seeing douchebags like coincleaner getting away with stealing from people. If I needed Bitcoins I would buy them from someone like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=57640 OR from BitInstant. If you are buying stuff from this forum always use a escrow service that has a lot of good reputation.

You really should check the scam section. Sad

135  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date on: October 28, 2012, 12:12:13 PM
Ordered: 9/1/2012
Qty: 1
Ship Confirm: Huh
Received: Huh
They actually shipped me one on 10/12, but it apparently got lost in the mail. The shipping number they gave me never updated, and I never got my package. I emailed them, and Jody mailed a new one to me. Great customer support!

Order 7002, take 2:
Shipped 10/18
Received 10/20
Did yours stop updating at Chicago, IL sort facility? Mine has been sitting there since Wednesday according to the crappy tracking.  Huh
136  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins will you buy at 8$? on: October 27, 2012, 05:01:29 PM
None for $8.00 / BTC. But if it dropped to something ridiculous like $1.00 / BTC or lower I would probably buy as many as possible to sit on.  Cool
137  Economy / Economics / Re: Worrisome news, if the numbers are right.. on: October 26, 2012, 04:50:04 PM
If people are hoarding it just shows that people value most of their Bitcoins much more than the current price level.
It also shows that 60-80% of the Bitcoin community have a positive faith on the future value of Bitcoin otherwise they would had sold their coins making them circulate.

You're asuming most here are smart and know what they're doing = FAIL!

This cartoon is fucking great.

140  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Find pirateat40 in person thread... on: October 24, 2012, 01:57:27 PM
Trembles.you people are scary. What ae you gonna do with his info. Loan sharks? Police? FBI? CIA?
Tbh the internets a dark scary place. People get scammed in real life. They often don't get help from police.
And cool it. Its his first offense. So don't expect much in court. Only serial offenders get in deep trouble.
I think people should stop trying to get money back. It might not ever happen. Don't expect it.
He might not even live there. With his money eh could move home.
You lost money. That's your fault. No offense but deal with it and learn a lesson.

This is clearly the infamous Pirateat40. Check his post history, the first post is about Pirateat40 saying it's funny how he is still out there under a different name. I joined the forums a month or so after this guys shit fell apart, but I do enjoy finding out what will happen to this cocky douchbag.
