Fortunately, I live in a country where law abiding citizens have the right to own firearms. Home invading perpetrators have a high probability of becoming perforated.

Bitcoin has been good to me. I'm returning the favor and helping to maintain decentralization by taking on the expense of running a full node. getblockchaininfo

Getting rich off of anything is statistically improbable for the majority. Staying rich is even less likely.
Knowing how to build wealth is a skill set learned by the individual, not a matter of "luck".
There's a reason most gamblers and lottery winners eventually end up broke.

Ha! You think kids are smarter today because they have the Internet. I would argue the kids who grew up without it so as adults invented it were way smarter.

The tech sounded cool and I wanted to F with it.
BTC started to become too valuable to risk so I stashed it and played with altcoins (LTC and DOGE) instead.

Thanks! BTC was/is a life changing once in a lifetime opportunity, but it's not the only or the last one.

The war (and I use the term loosely as it's more of a curb stomp) came as no surprise and the markets has pretty much factored it in before it began.

No. I think we are moving past peak societal stupid.
COVID taught many of us that that the farmers, truck drivers, factory / health care workers, and the kids that stock the shelves at the grocery store are much more important to out lives than celebrities.

Not a damn thing. Most women do whatever they want based upon feelings.
Emotional decision making will override truth, logic, law, safety, equality, and common sense.
Backed by society and the state, a modern women will destroy you physically, financially, and socially simply because you made her mad.
"Strange game. The only way to win is not to play." - Joshua / WOPR 1983

Did someone forget to mention that all crypto, including BTC is volatile? if you can't stand the heat, GTFO of the kitchen.

Yes, the "system" is rigged. Yes, we're all property / livestock of the state to do with as it pleases. Yes, the so called "news" is propaganda - either outright lies or truth spun to advance the narrative. Yes, with few exceptions your overpriced "education" is worthless - a scam designed to capture you in debt slavery. Yes, you may avoid the college trap, but new cars, vacations, the latest must-have tech is always available via credit cards or BNPL. Fake it till you make it, YOLO, call it what you will. It's the same debt trap. Yes, the smarmy politicians (they're all scum) always have the solutions to problems they themselves have created. All you have to do it vote for them - again. How convenient. 🙄 Yes, the true power in the world lies with the money. The massive wealth that owns the smarmy politicians who really work for them, not you - you're livestock. Yes, you think you're comfortable and safe from predators in your corral eating your daily feed ration. but unbeknownst to you up in the ranch house they're having steak.

I certainly do not intend to reduce my position in either BTC or Strategy.
Both are still several orders of magnitude above my cost basis.

Use the precompiled binaries after checking the hash
Only using core as a full node, not a wallet anymore.

You could say the same thing about Apple, M$, Google, Nvidia, Tesla, Berkshire Hathaway, ...
Hindsight is always 20/20 and useless for the here and now. However, understanding repeating patterns and probability will serve future you.
Using your intellect, what are the disruptive market entities that you should be investing in today to reap the POTENTIAL exponential returns of tomorrow? 🤨

Ha! Reddit is a cesspool with a few diamonds scattered in it. Selectively use the information you find there to your advantage, but attempting to clean up the overwhelming crap is as waste of your time and energy.

Relax and HODL. You have a good idea about what is going to happen, just take it easy and act calmly and rationally.

Yeah sometime money can change how people treat you even those close to you. That reality made me more guarded too. I think staying low-key and protecting your peace is more important than proving anything to anyone.
This. 👍👍👍 First they laughed, then they scoffed, then they became jealous, then angry. Wealth cannot protect your health, security, and peace and it forces you to choose you friends / relationships very carefully.
