If Murphy's claim is to be believed, some 17 posts he made out of hundreds even mentioned bitconnect, and those were skeptical. IOW, that he did not promote it. Is he lying about this?

We should drop ETH.
Since ETH dev don't give a shit about GPU miners we should leave them with ASIC miners and find new coins.

Very precious though by Vitalik he is genius person I hope soon they will upgrade this network to solve that scaling problem. ETH is very strong project with great support from community so it will keep continue with same momentum.

I think its true because coinbase is banker owned and they helped pump bitcoin cash

they are now getting sued, and yes you do owe the pumped up bit coin cash price due to market manipluation at coinbase

BCH's vision is basically different because of:
-there's no Segwit
-removed RBF and CPFP
-no fears for on-chain scaling, with (potentially) LN as an additional use case

As usually, time will tell who's right

Apple's market cap is $850 Bn. So it is still some distance away. It might take more than a few years. But if I was asked to bet whether Apple will reacg $1 Tn first or cryptocurrencies, I would bet on cryptocurrencies.

I'm thinking about my next move:
   On Aug 1st BitCoin Cash (BCH) hard forked from BitCoin. As of 00:22 31 Aug  BCH is worth $576.58US, not a bad payday for doing nothing.
   This is what I'm thinking, in the next day or so, I should some of my bitcoin, buy Ethereum tokens, and wait for Ethereum to hard fork into Ethereum metropolitan/ Ethereum. After the split, I would transfer back to bitcoin, but guarantee myself some Ethereum metropolitan. This is a real problem, because BitCoin is in an upward trend, so is Ethereum.
   I am throwing it open to the members of Crypt0's news group! What are your ideas?

Did the btc-e hack raise the likelihood of another ETH-Fork? 

I sold all my BTC for shitcoins weeks ago and they all tanked, I lost so much money QQ. The crypto market has sucked for the last 3 weeks prety badly, I'm praying for ETH to jump to $300.

Bitcoin has basically outperformed any kind of asset for years now, so this isn't anything new for me, neither should it be new for others. I however did notice a sudden change in the mentality of people around me that usually try to allocate a certain percentage of their monthly wage to stocks. Instead of stocks, they are diving into crypto. Some even take it a bit too serious, and invest thousands of Euro's into GPU's to mint various altcoins. I am happy to see that things are changing, because it wasn't all that long ago that people around me were a tad bit sceptical about the real purpose of Bitcoin & Co.

I'm back in the market again, buying a small amount as its sinking, time will tell if its a good idea
