401  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] BTC for $500 Ebay Gift Card on: June 28, 2014, 06:19:38 AM
can ebay cards be charged back after they are applied to the account? (like amazon)

Unless the account / card used to purchase the gift card was obtained fraudulently, then no - they can't be reversed once they've been applied to your account. Also, even if the account is legitimate if there's ever a case where the account got limited for fraudelent purposes all recent transactions could be reversed which could have a negative effect on your account.

Whenever someone pays me with PayPal I watch them as they do the transaction and follow a few basic steps which helps weed out the scammers a lot.

- Check their current IP to see if they are using a proxy.
- View their transaction history, if they haven't done any transactions in a while and they want to do a large one with me I deny their request. General rule of thumb is if the transaction they're going to do with you is out of character with the rest of their history then PayPal could flag it.
- Do as much research as possible with the information you have, check for scam reports etc.

Remember that there's no safe way to avoid chargebacks, you can only minimise the risk.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Recently deposited 1.15btc and I believe it has been compromised.. (support req) on: June 22, 2014, 04:58:43 PM
You need to be more clear. Do you mean your new address is possibly compromised or a service you sent the coins to is compromised?
403  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Xbox $5 Currency on: June 19, 2014, 09:51:22 PM
Sold, many thanks.
404  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Xbox $5 Currency on: June 19, 2014, 09:39:53 PM
http://woobox.com/4hdv7q Go to this link to get one for free. You need to use a facebook account. Type your facebook account email there, then confirm it via Facebook.com and allow the app (it doesn't post spam).

Not cool to sell shit you got for free and is easy as fuck to do.

I'm selling it because I'm not in the US and I have no use for it so I thought why not get some BTC circulated as well. I'm not out to make money from raping a free method, if I was I would have already done it and sold on eBay where I would have got more.

Want to use the link, use it. It doesn't make a difference to me.
405  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Xbox $5 Currency on: June 19, 2014, 09:09:51 PM
Looking to get $2.50 OBO for this. Bitcoin only.
Middleman accepted, otherwise you go first.
Prefer to redeem code over TeamViewer or some sort of screen sharing so there's no foul play.

Any questions PM me.

407  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] iPhone 3GS 8GB Unlocked UK - As New - Free Delivery in UK & EU. on: June 13, 2014, 05:04:28 PM
Thanks but these aren't my personal iPhones. Their left over from some wholesale stock and I'm looking to get some BTC for them instead of PayPal and using eBay.

It helps if you post proof.
409  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] iPhone 3GS 8GB Unlocked UK - As New - Free Delivery in UK & EU. on: June 08, 2014, 11:36:02 AM
Would this phone work in AU
is it gsm900/1800mhz ?? or do you know the freq ?

thanks

I'm not aware of the frequency but these phones are all unlocked and AFAIK they will adjust to your countries frequency so you should have no problem with it working overseas.
410  Economy / Goods / [WTS] iPhone 3GS 8GB Unlocked UK - As New - Free Delivery in UK & EU. on: June 07, 2014, 09:49:25 PM
These are refurbished units but have all been tested and passed for an A grade (IE, they work with no problems.) All phones come with the following:

x1 Manual
x1 USB Cable
x1 UK Plug Adapter (The USB goes into the adapter)
x1 Headphones

I'm looking for £90 per unit or reasonable best offers, with free delivery to UK and EU. As you can see on Amazon and eBay, my prices are cheaper.

Payment in BTC or UK Bank Transfer for trusted people only.

Any questions, please ask.

Also I wonder if western union can be held liable for giving it to the wrong person. Might've been simply reversed though.

AFAIK, you can cancel the transaction as long as it hasn't been picked up. Also very easy to get verified on Western Union and then claim your card details were stolen.
412  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [LBC WARNING] 'DiamondBTCGroup' on: June 01, 2014, 12:17:59 PM
Sorry for your loss but feedback means nothing. Someone could have a thousand good trades for small amounts, get feedback and then pull off a scam like this. They have nothing to lose. When a individual / company has more to lose the chance of them scamming you is less but doesn't off-set it completely.

Always always always pick up the money first before releasing escrow. It's been proven many times the non-recoverable clause for WU/MG only applies ONCE the money has been picked up. If it hasn't been picked up then it's subject to reversal.

I don't know where I should go to buy bitcoins at market price (localbitcoin is too expensive)

You pay a premium for a reason - unless you're going over state limits most BTC sellers are happy to let you buy without asking questions. Where as all the exchanges will ask for verification documents within due time.

Have you tried the currency exchange section here? There has to be someone in your area selling.

Hello, can we talk about this via my skype (btcngonline), yahoo (meetbtcng) or gmail (meetbtcng)... I can sell to you on your terms. or mail me (meetbtcng@gmail.com)
This user is a scammer. Do not do business with.
but have i transacted with you before?

Your point is? Someone can have a thousand good deals but if they scam once they're a scammer forever.
@OP - use a middleman if you can, a trusted once. Scammers love to pick on new members.
