It's so sad that people would abuse the trust in the community for such little effort and reward. There are people who are legitimately invested in the bitcoin community and monetary values don't matter these individuals. I hope in the future, honest people who want to be involved with bitcoin, not willing to sell out for a few thousands dollars will be involved here. Use your judgement when conducting transactions. I hope something like this never happens again.
Man tell us how to use judgement ? Man the people who got scammed are not dumb enough who dont know to use their judegement. Damn it. |

At this point I don't think it matters who believes me or not.
If I can't restore access to my wallets to return everyone's funds, or the hacker succeeds in transferring the coins out of the escrow wallets then I will compensate everyone out of my own pocket at the best of my abilities.
My reputation has been tarnished. Scammer or not, my poor security practices to allow such an event to take place has forever ruined my reputation in this community. Therefore after I have (hopefully) resolved and repaid everyone, I will be leaving this community permanently. Regardless if I get "dox'd" or not. I am not a scammer, this whole thing is just a huge misfortune for everyone including myself.

18 pages in less than 48 hours, amazing . I didn't read all the post(s) but did Master-P signed something with his pgp private key or a well know btc address during the deal ? Man you think others were dumb enough to deal with "master-P" without his PGP signed message ? If the man wouldn't give his PGP signature he wouldn't be able to scam half of the forum members. |

it was not a hack and his account wasn't stolen, otherwise we would see a password change in the last few days, weeks? And the last password change is 6 months ago when people say he sold his account. So he either sold his account, which makes him a scammer or he is the one scamming directly which makes him a scammer. It did change on 17 December. December 17, 2015, 09:55:10 PM - master-P - password changed There was no password change from 14 August 2015 till that date. If his account was hacked , the man didnot bothered to tell publicly he was hacked. It makes sense the man's account was not hacked. It was a pre-planned scam (directed by an impersonator from August 2015 or the real man himself) |
