63  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: May 25, 2016, 11:14:11 PM
If the US Dollar started crashing, then the indexes would rise in value, as the value of stocks and indexes is the opposite of fiat since fiat is used for protection.

Bitcoin is relatively small, so any positive or negative movement is independent on its own because of MM.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitMutiny: The case for a Bitcoin hostile hard fork on: April 20, 2016, 10:44:31 PM
Everything is centralised, BTC is not so different. In fact, decentralisation cannot exist just like the stars in our system.

Centralisation is the only pathway to success.
65  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: April 14, 2016, 10:55:07 AM
Bitcoin is just money, it is meant to be spent. Not hoarded. If we spend it then we can all increase its utility.

68  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: April 03, 2016, 10:22:18 PM
It doesnt have to be Bitcoin, but the blockchain on a larger level will be used by many in the population by 2022.

You cannot know how many will use it by then, but the adoption will be there.
69  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin survive world war III? on: March 27, 2016, 08:22:17 AM
Many users will hedge their currencies into bitcoin or any other commodity which is risk off.

In this scenario, a lot of infrastructure will be destroyed related to bitcoin, however due to its type of decentralisation, other users will keep the network up and in this way it will continously survive. Many cold storage coins could be lost, but the value of Bitcoin is independent of this.

Bitcoin networks and businesses could face losses, but bitcoin as a hedge would do well.
70  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: idea to solve scalability problem on: March 23, 2016, 11:16:16 AM
Shapeshift does a wonderful job at bridging certain cryptocurrencies along with Bitcoin which allow them to be used as payments.

I believe at one point we may be allowed to send Dogecoin to BTC addresses and vice versa, and have an auto exchange but in the meantime, it is only possible with 3rd party services.

73  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mike Hearn needs to make a full public apology on: March 13, 2016, 03:17:10 AM
No one needs to do anything. "Caveat emptor"

You bought Bitcoin knows the risks and volatility, and you pay the price both ways either in your favor or not.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: March 09, 2016, 05:49:05 AM
Bitcoin is dead till the foundation get back on track. I would advise to sell till this drama is over.

76  Economy / Speculation / Re: will we break the 400$ ? on: March 08, 2016, 03:41:05 PM

77  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese are beginning to pile into BTC again, see huobi prices on: March 08, 2016, 03:18:48 AM
They dont care about Bitcoin. The primary goal here is to make more chinese yuan. Fiat is king till it is not.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: March 07, 2016, 07:33:56 AM
In the next decades, i do not believe paper money will exist.

Digital money is getting bigger for a reason, and one of those primary reasons is the salvation and protection of trees indirectly as well.

Think of how much pollution we create. If paper money is converted to digital money, counterfeit will not be created and the environment will also be protected in this process.

80  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] SimpleFX.com - forex broker with BTC and LTC crosses and 1:500 leverage on: February 10, 2016, 04:41:25 PM
Why are spreads so high? Are you guys trading BTC into fiat and vice versa?

Also, what if x person longs Oil at $28 with $1mill dollars at 200 leverage.

If he gains $5mill in the trade, will there be clawbacks if your exchange cannot handle the money?
