This is basically the what I observed during powercoin attack. The confirmed transactions become uncomfirmed. If you are mining you barely pound a block even though you ought to received hundreds of blocks before the attack. And last the most damaging symptoms. Dumping of coins like the coins has no price. I also observed the network hash barely changed at that time.

It's trading in 6 decimal places, with a block reward of 40, and a difficulty of next to nothing  It's just recover from rumors about the attack give it some time. . I really thought powercoin was dead at that time. I even sold most of my powercoin. |

@powercoin guys Is there a block explorer anywhere, it would be quite useful. Have you guys noticed your hashrate has went from about 2.9 to 5.3 5.6 in the past few minutes and is climbing with each block? I think this is in relation on recent attacks. Alt coins supporters that might be afraid and now thinking litecoin is secure investment than alts.

What I can't figure out is why any DEV wanting their coin to flourish would make such an insane challenge especially when total network has is about 1 G/HS including the pools.
I've just done some calculating and it appears that by DDoS the pools, the solo hash rate will be less than 300 M/HS.
Also Vicurex just picked this coin up, think they want to be part of an attack vector brought on by the DEV?
