LTC

Bin verwundert, warum Akka anders denkt - aber mal sehen, wen Mt.Gox als nächstes holt...

When will you bring online support for the other cryptocurrencies?

We were scheduled to launch a new cryptocurrency this week, but recent events have taken precedent. We're looking at 1~2 weeks now, but it will happen.

Sorry, I fail to see where this particular quote is from...

Anything new on this thing? Obviously they will have to offer LTC trading soon but how soon will it be?

WTF!

Screenshot? Link?

edit: Thanks for pic. WOW, that's pretty brave (or rather stupid) of them!

Bitcoinity confirms that

edit#2: So what now? "Normal" server upgrade or something else?
169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Life of GPU (long-term) if running 15h+ per day? on: April 08, 2013, 10:13:31 PM
I remember halving life time per about 10°C (or K if you want) but I never came across a dead GPU by normal usage (BOINC and mining included, excluding reckless overclocking).

NB: You should watch your fans though - if they start to make funny noises, it's time to slow down and exchange (but even in the case of GPU overheating a PC usually just shuts down).
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: several transactions show in blockchain as of last nite, but never show in walle on: April 07, 2013, 11:06:09 PM
Is it too stupid to ask: Shouldn't a TRC transaction be done in within max. 3 blocks? (I am assuming such transaction is incorporated in the next found block, right?)

Edit: Well, 15h later, finally I got 4 confirmations and the block containing it is +3 (counting from when I transferred it). Looks like bitcoin in slowmotion  Wink
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Truecrypt donations on: April 05, 2013, 06:51:29 PM
Hmm, can we force them to take our donations?  Wink

Kidding aside, just dropped them another email...
172  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: April 05, 2013, 05:46:16 PM
Works for me as well (at least right now).

And actually, compared to vircurex and gox, btc-e recovers usually pretty quickly.

Also: Could we have more localized (by language or region) chats (eg. german)? The englisch chat gets more and more crowded with jerks shouting "Sell, sell, sell" or "Buy, buy, buy" *sigh*

YEP! Count me in!
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Litecoin? on: April 04, 2013, 03:02:09 PM
Tonto, I don't even care anymore for the dumb sheep that are still ignoring cryptocoins (btc, ltc, nmc and others): They're here, they work and they're ready to kick paypal's ass  Grin
175  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E.com exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin <-> USD\BTC (fee 0.2%) on: April 03, 2013, 03:36:53 PM
...additional trading pairs.

NMC/LTC, more than anything else...

Yes, NMC-LTC would be nice! Edit: Also: EUR-LTC. Possibly with a switch to turn off unwanted pairs.

Just saw it today: Huge thanks for lowering confirmation threshold!!!  Smiley

PS: 10 for LTC was kinda crazy because that nullified LTC's swiftness.
177  Economy / Services / Re: Vircurex - Logo/Ad Banner Contest - 4 BTC on: April 03, 2013, 12:27:09 PM
The process could somewhat more transparent...

... but I certainly like the idea Smiley
178  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Bitmessage - P2P Messaging system based partially on Bitcoin on: March 11, 2013, 09:56:33 PM
Smiley I was waiting for such thing for sooo long!!! I just found it today when I did my quarterly search for "decentral email". YAY!

And thanks that it already has a portable mode. (Attachments would be awesome, of course.)

Boah Seeder!

Ansonsten, was klaus gesagt hat.
