I had originally agreed to purchase 4 units and created a bitinstant order to pay mining4fun11, but he sold the units to someone else after the BI order was taking too long.
BI processed the transaction anyway, but mining4fun11 was nice enough to return the funds to me... Thank you!

Make sure you all keep track of what addresses you use to pay him so that Hashking's creditors know where all their money is going.  Nice try, stop theadshitting. I am currently looking to sell my x6500's. I am looking to get $175 for each one shipped or best offer. This includes usb cord, fan and heatsink setup. All you have to do is plug them in and start mining. They run very cool with the fan setup I have. If you buy more then one I can offer a small discount. Thanks.

How sad this has turned out. Maybe Toms big wife needs to send him to some AA meetings. I wouldnt give him anymore funds as he already proven that he will dump the project without trying every angle when in a bind.

With multiple modminers, I can't view all of my devices on cgminer as it shows each fpga on a line. This causes to many lines and I can't see every device. Are you able to consolidate it back to where each board has a line.

At some point if the funds aren't returned I would contact the New York Attorney general and have them start looking into a case of credit card fraud.
Sounds exciting, but do you honestly consider this fraud? C'mon, honestly? Tom delivered FPGA products before. He was running the whole thing like a somewhat profitable hobby. Then ASICs became an option, and he bit more then he can chew. He folded under pressure, and acted like an idiot on few occasions. Obviously, some people are getting refunds. Is everyone going to get their money back? We don't know. Is he (and others from his former team) trying? Obviously, yes. Was he competent and able to deliver ASIC products? Obviously no. Was this fraud? No. See above. From my understanding you can't use pre-order money to run your business. All the funds should have been sitting in an account, meaning everybody should be able to get a refund. If they are not then there is a possible case of fraud here. |

The chances of Tom ending up in jail over a failed BTC venture when outright scammers like Pirate, Hashking, Andrew Nolan, BTC Guy, etc etc haven't been prosecuted. 2. Tom is not my buddy, I'm a former customer of his. I just disprove of morons and scammers, of which I believe you are one. Tom took credit cards for payment if those do not get refunded under US law that is wire fraud a federal crime that is frowned upon, BTC they don't give a tinkers damn about it... +1. He committed fraud. So the time he was planning on spending with his family, he will now be spending it with big bubba in a jail cell. |
