921  Economy / Securities / Re: INVEST IN CANADIAN MINING FARM. on: December 02, 2017, 03:08:44 AM
Escrow would work, yes. (But if you have money to give escrow you don't need investors, right?  Grin )

This offer seems very good to be true as we are talking about mining.

How does it work? I send $20 and I keep receiving income for how much time?

I think you need to give more informations about your business, people want to see real evidences there is really a mining operation happening there.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling PRO CON on: December 02, 2017, 02:35:15 AM
sometimes gambling make life easier just spend 1 hours in front of my pc and i can get money same like i work for a month, sometimes i lost what i earn in a month with just a few click.
how you avoid loosing in online casino, if you lost your money what will you do ? deposit more and try to recover last lose or cry at the corner of your bathtub and regreting thing you do.

And if you become addictive to gambling and try to stop what you do to distact you from gambling ( i really need advice for this one)

Addiction to gambling can have many factors that causes it especially the desperate neediness to money , and of course the thrive for the roller coaster of emotions that hits the gambler whenever he's practicing his hobby . Unfortunately , if a person gets addicted to gambling , it won't be any easy for him to get rid of this habit and other consequences can follow if the person is financially desperate especially if he's hopelessly trying to win back what he lost . And even if they manage to get a jackpot , they won't really get back what they lost entirely .

So people need to know if they got any addiction symptoms to not fall for such a trap , and these symptoms are usually similar to any other kind of addictions .
They'll like to keep low key about their activity , will be thriving to gamble even if they don't have enough money to satisfy their basic needs , and of course they'll feel that they can't stop anymore . Having therapy isn't a bad idea in such cases since you'll get taken care by a pro who understands your problem , knows how to guide you through it and especially you won't be ashamed to reveal your secret for him .

To have therapy is good and can help, but the most important is the power inside yourself. First of all you need to want stop gambling, otherwise nothing will help you to finish the addiction. There are many people who had therapy and it wasn't sufficient, because their problem wasn't only on their mind, but on their souls too. If a person is a gambler addicted, there aren't pros and cons, there are only cons and they will cause only negative effects.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 02, 2017, 01:55:28 AM
Even if they did, and they won't, and transaction fees were viable for this, they're not going to get any custom with it.

I literally could not think of a more frivolous use for your BTC than buying some filth that'll fly out of your anus before you've had the time to draw out what few nutrients there are in there.

Hahaha!  Grin

Well, there are people already using their BTCs on fast foods, but via fiat conversion for now. I agree people wouldn't become McDonald's customers just because BTC adoption, but the usual customers will surely use Bitcoins, maybe not always, but sometimes. Crypto-Currency is full of fat guys that love fast-foods. People who wants to live from Crypto-Currency income need to spend their Bitcoins on daily life, and many of those people don't cook at home, so...
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 01, 2017, 11:47:58 PM
That is amazing! I was thinking days ago about how nice would be McDonalds accepting Bitcoin and now I see these news. And about the high expensive fees I don't think it's a problem, there are alternatives. One alternative are the middleman services that will make the deals between buyers and sellers easier, other alternative I talked about on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2451319.msg25100574#msg25100574
(No middlemen needed).
925  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency as the Imperial End-game on: December 01, 2017, 07:36:14 PM
I read and know at least a dozen of conspiracy theories about Bitcoin... but this is something new.

Actually, if you are early adopter, you must embrace such a theory and hope to be true. Then you will have significant monetary power.

It is sad, but true, that the elites will always control the world, as long as most people don't really understand the basics of money.

But not all is lost.  I believe strongly that, for every bit of additional awareness by the public, the elites will suffer a bit more constraint.  It will be a very long struggle but it will eventually be won.

The elites are unbeatable. Even if you defeat some of them, another people will appear and become the new elite. I'm not blaming rich people, I'm blaming those who want to make the maintenance of precariousness in the world to continue ruling it. Those who keep people ignorant and imbecilized.

At least with Crypto-Currency we have a decentralized system that makes the monetary communication among people from different countries easier and cheaper, but once this decentralization is over, all the rest is over too... And if you see, most people are alienated about it, less than 2% or 3% of world's population uses Crypto-Currency, how could the elites lose power with so insignifcant numbers against them?
926  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: December 01, 2017, 06:45:15 PM
i just lost every btc that collect by week Sad .
can't controlled my emotion on lottery , especially multiple btc
what kind of game lol

It always happen when playing Dice game during much time... Next time be more careful and don't risk all your hard earned week money gambling. Better to  earn few satoshis than losing all your money trying to win a lot of satoshis. Build your bankroll and receive daily passive income there.
The interest is low, but at least you won't lose your satoshis.  Smiley
927  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining ? Tell me About it please on: December 01, 2017, 05:56:35 PM
Cloud Mining ? Tell me About it please

I am wondering what exactly is cloud mining?

IS this more less I can invest into a mining system? but don't have to actually have the hardware in my house? I just handle the controls from a remote location?

more less invest in as a shareholder? or really how does this work? information please

Cloud mining is a business which its owners ask investors money to buy mining hardwares and all the equipments, infrastructure they need to run the business. When the project is for real, they have a team that show their faces, show their place, the equipments, everything... But they are just making profit for themselves, because as investor you earn even less money each new day.

When it started it seemed very interesting, but now it's worthless and almost everyone knows it's an unprofitable investment. You can make much more profit just by holding your Bitcoins. Businessmen running cloud minings don't care about their investors at all.

(I'm talking about "legit" ones, the HYIP Ponzies are more common and offer exagerated returns, they are fake).
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Time Person of the Year betting on: December 01, 2017, 04:46:59 PM
The favorite right now is by betting against these 5 people which is the "Other". I saw a poll result from the time's website and all of the 5 people listed are not getting a lot of votes but it's just a poll though. The votes were mostly on the defense minister of Saudi Arabia (23% of votes). Those 5 people listed had 3% below and Angela Merkel is the one leading if the others were not included.

Are there any standard or criteria on choosing Time Person of the Year? Really don't have an idea about the award criteria.

There are candidates in the past who gained higher % of votes on online poll but never been awarded. Despite popularity still not enough. Really confused now and Im tempted to bet at those with higher odds. But for the record, there is no person yet who received the award more than once.

This is from last year: http://time.com/time-person-of-the-year-2016-donald-trump-choice/

Quote
"we have named the person who had the greatest influence, for better or worse, on the events of the year."

I would pick someone who had great influence or made something that called everyone's attention. However I think 2017 was a tepid year from "person of year" point of view. There isn't an outstanding person. And as ralle14 said those aren't the favorites, it becomes even harder to bet.  Cheesy
929  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: December 01, 2017, 01:51:28 AM
We're selling Bitcoin merchandise, including clothing.
Today we have a Cyber Monday sale with 10% off (coupon: Genesis)

We accept Bitcoin of course and 30+ altcoins, so if anyone needs that kind of clothing, visit our website http://bitcoinshirt.co/

https://i.imgur.com/STvwGdT.png

The good news is things are getting better and better with each passing day. If you do want to but some good clothes for yourself or your family, then there is no need of converting your bitcoins into paper money. You can even buy such kind of things by paying the bill in the form of bitcoin as there are certain online shopping stores like that of EPay etc. which are helping you buy the clothes with bitcoin.

That is good, but I'm not sure if it would be profitable for sellers. I have seen some people selling Bitcoin related clothes on the internet, however I'm not sure if people are really buying it. It's an interesting investment, but first we must make sure there are customers able to buy it or the investment will be a waste of money (investment with machinery, plain shirts, other stuff that can be customized...).

I ask myself who would really buy Bitcoin related clothes (and miscellaneous stuff)...
930  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: December 01, 2017, 01:34:55 AM
Bitcoin can't controlled with any sector, it's decentralized. We see that the price is going pump and dump. They says many people know the value of this bitcoin with volatility price.
Yeah I know the decentralized bitcoin. but what about users who have very large capital and much bitcoin in their bankroll. and you know that bitcoin users are very easy to panic with speculation and issues. maybe my opinion fluctuations could have been in control but the result does not guarantee according to their expectations

So there isn't how to control volatility, we must deal with this on Crypto-Currency world, it's the nature of a decentralized currency and I think it's good as it is. Who are unable to take the risk can use centralized currencies, the stable ones, and at same time, unprofitable ones. People complain about volatility, but complain about stable currencies too (fiat)... However, there are few AltCoins that follow fiat price, so they are very stable.
931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoins? on: November 30, 2017, 11:30:40 PM
Bitcoins can be used to buy stock subtly. Similarly, worldwide portions are straightforward and ratty in light of the way that bitcoins are not settling to any country or subject to control. Privately owned businesses may like them in light of the fact that there are no Mastercard charges. A couple of individuals basically buy bitcoins as a wander, assuming that they'll go up in regard.

Bitcoins isn't out of control in some countries, governments are trying to regulate or ban it. Not only private initiative likes Bitcoin, but any individual needing money and looking for a new way to transact online, primarily worthful for buyer/seller and not for the middleman. Most people buy Bitcoins hoping the price will increase and they will make fiat profit, overcoming any other investment common citizens can start.

Why Bitcoin? Because it's profitable, because it's innovative, because it's part of the future!
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Time Person of the Year betting on: November 30, 2017, 08:17:09 PM
You can bet on OneHash!

My bet: Macron  Grin

https://www.onehash.com/event/special_events/politics/140432

Are these 5 people the favorites?

Well, for me Donald Trump was the person of the year: Authentic, fought against estabilishment without many allies, put the fake news on their respective place and although we hear 24/7 journalists saying negative things about him and USA, his popularity is fine and he is decreasing the unemployment rates.

But I don't think they would let him win this year, as he had already won last year. I would bet in Pope Francis. Among all the other globalists he is in better conditions... Others were a disaster dealing with terrorism on their countries.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you consider Bitcoin a Digital Gold? Why Yes or why not? on: November 30, 2017, 03:33:11 PM
I don't consider it a digital gold. For now it can be digital gold because it's profitable for everyone, almost no one loses money with BTC investment, but at any time Bitcoin can start crashing and then it won't be digital gold anymore, as it won't be profitable or store of wealthy...
Without physical value there isn't how to be "gold".
934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will fall down on december on: November 30, 2017, 02:30:20 PM
If the price continues falling you predict it very well, congratulations. The price was really increasing too fast, more than 10% increasement on price in 24 hours, now more than 15% decreasement on price in 24 hours. I think those changes in price didn't have a reason at all, but it was just consequence of traders actions, bumping and dumping Bitcoin price to make profit when many people bought expensive Bitcoin near $10.000-$11.000.
935  Economy / Gambling / Re: An idea for a fair new gambling site. on: November 30, 2017, 01:13:29 AM
Seems Dice is more profitable than this game... (And Dice isn't profitable).

Let's say we are playing a round with 1000 satoshis bet. 10 players = 10.000 satoshis; One will get 4000, other will get 3000, more 2000 to another gambler and 1000 satoshis goes to the house. 7 gamblers earn nothing...

The idea isn't bad, interesting concept, but it's still unprofitable like any other gambling game.  Cheesy
Maybe you want to show this game is needed because it would be a fair game, but I can say casinos offer fair games too, they use provably fair system, so it would depend the preference of each gambler.

The problem with this game is that you will always have to play with 30% winning chance and you always need at least 10 people to play a round.

Maybe someone can check your idea and introduce it on a casino like an experiment.  Smiley
936  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: November 29, 2017, 11:47:05 PM
Japan has given similar importance as the national currency to the bitcoin. As Japan highly believe in technology advancement, it took such an initiative and now the growth it has been experiencing is much big compared to that of other countries. In future looking it's growth other countries too might give preference similar to national currency.
You are right people all over the hope that bitcoin achieve its main target, to become the most powerfull and official currency. Bitcoin to be a national currency I think this is possible because according to average increase of price of bitcoin so it is like miracle that’s why the possibility present to be a national currency.

And how could this work? A combined offensive could be prepared on another countries to weak the country using Bitcoins as their national currency. The war would be on the Crypto-Currency world, strategical financial attacks against the enemies. It can help little countries which are unknown or worthless for most people and most other countries, but let's say a big country like USA, Russia or China starts using Bitcoin as national currency, it would be a disaster...
937  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin versus other offline currencies on: November 29, 2017, 11:22:12 PM
Bitcoin value are rapidly increasing, so I never doubted if one day bitcoin surpass other offline currency in the world. I was completely believe that bitcoin is the future currency of the world. I'm looking forward to the value of bitcoin in the crypto industry this coming 2018. Most of the users are correct to their speculation because this coin now are totally reach $10,000. Obviously that offline money or paper currency are no longer increase their value in the market whatever happened.

It's very hard to say that bitcoin value is rapidly increasing.

It something that happened, it doesn't mean that it is going to always happen, I don't think that the fact that bitcoin's price is very volatility is a good thing, I think exactly the opposite.
It is hard to have bitcoin as a store of value because the price tends to go up and down very often.
When people search for a store of value they search for a safe asset, and bitcoin is not a safe asset at all.

As speculative currency the volatility is very good and worth a lot since we have never seen BTC falling on long term, what means the volatility is always pushing BTC up (and a lot!). But as you said, we can't predict it will always happen... It's the nature of Bitcoin, and even with so many apparent risks, it's still very worthful and profitable. I see Crypto-Currency as a new kind of investment like we never had before, very original and volatility is a part of it.

Bitcoin isn't so safe like traditional investments people make with fiat (I don't even think these investments are profitable), but it gives much more return. So you must think about about the possibilities: A profitable "risky" investment or a safe unprofitable one? I prefer the first alternative...
938  Economy / Speculation / Re: $11k? Too fast or just hyped? on: November 29, 2017, 03:14:40 PM
Are you worried with the current pace of the rise in pricing of Bitcoin? Is it too fast? Are we expecting a dormant Q1 of next year? Any speculation? Share your thoughts below.

It's definitely too fast to be sustainable in the long term. This is a parabolic run. It usually ends harshly, with a major wick at the top followed by a 50-70% price drop.

Now the question is, where is the top? I don't see any volume to indicate heavy distribution in the $10k-$11k area. Supply is still lacking; nobody is selling. This has to go higher. Looking for $15k, $20k, maybe $25k....... then crash. Fingers crossed. Smiley

I think it's going too fast too. But for some reason the price is increasing a lot and doesn't stop... Is it really because Bitcoin investment funds being created giving more security to investors?

Or is it just because people are seeing the opportunity, the "hype" and are investing heavily now?

Too much speculation, too less real facts.
939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the banks decide to start the war on Bitcoin on: November 29, 2017, 12:44:24 AM
I don't think it will cause Bitcoin's crash. People who are heavily investing in BTCs aren't common people, they are rich people, they know what they are doing, it banks were a problem for them they wouldn't be putting so much money into Crypto-Currency world.

And there is the possibility people inside the banks invest in BTCs and make profit with Crypto-Currency too, not possible to prove, but it's possible. Bitcoin price won't crash, but the difficulty of using it can increase for the mass population.
940  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoins & On-line Retailing on: November 28, 2017, 02:54:17 PM
Bitcoin can be used for anything fiat is used. India is a very connected to technology country, it's inevitable sooner or later Bitcoin start being used by retailers and loyalty programs. But now I'm not sure if India's government is against Bitcoin or not, I have seen some rumors that they were, especially because the several scam schemes being run there.
