301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KEY (Slelfkey) good to invest ? on: January 10, 2020, 12:26:47 PM
i disagree with that because KEY supply is low and also if you check it chart 1D and 1W in binance

it hit 69 satoshi a few weeks ago anyway i bought it at 19 and o set my order at 32 if i see that
it will fall i will sell it at 19 but i don't think so today KEY listed in Bitfare exchange maybe that can
make price raise

you were asking a question but when people answered it you disagree with them. do not tell me this is another shill strategy because the price shot up to 69 satoshis a few weeks ago?
there are other projects that have a similar chart with this one and have a decent volume(theta for example).
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Regulation in China on: January 10, 2020, 12:00:44 PM
what else? there is no legalization happening there because they have banned it completely. they said blockchain is not a cryptocurrency, crypto has nothing to do with it.
do not get your hope too high, they will not recognize it openly.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Other than bitcoin is it worth to invest in Ripple? on: January 09, 2020, 02:46:56 PM
even though i dont like BCH much , I would rather you choose BCH over Ripple.
i wonder why and why people still believing that coins.
Also , how can be "the price $5 is the realistic sum" ? , the fact XRP have a poor performance in 2019 , i didn't expect anything now.
another question from me, why and why people still believing in that fraud?
bch deceived a lot of people by saying they are a real bitcoin(changing the wallet name that is supposed to be bitcoin as bitcoin core and their bitcoin cash wallet as bitcoin wallet), I would rather invest my money into ripple than buying this fraud.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO finally admitted shilling both BTC and BNB on: January 09, 2020, 02:12:36 PM
I have never seen him shilling bitcoin before, does that(I will keep shilling btc and bnb) can be considered as a shilling?  it does not look like one.
it is unnecessary for him to do it. just focus on what he is good at and do not say something stupid like what he did when he got hacked.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 09, 2020, 01:28:08 PM
people say that this year altcoin could go up like 2017, but signs like that haven't appeared at all, that's because bitcoin dominance is still too strong,
there is no way we will see something like that this year considering how bad it was for the investor. these years bitcoin grows naturally, the price increased slowly because of demand and adoption. the bull run will eventually happen(it is because bitcoin halving, it is heavily affect the whole market) but it will not be as crazy as before because people tend to learn from their mistakes.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex no longer asks for verification of new users on: January 09, 2020, 12:45:29 PM
Quote
According to a pair of blog posts, Poloniex will now become Polo Digital Assets, Ltd., an “independent international company” backed by an unnamed Asian investment firm.
that's enough to answer your question. Some people said it has owned by Justin and that's true but he was one of the investors who was investing on poloniex exchange site.
that unnamed Asian investment firm looks shady af. now it is understandable why they sent the email.

Though Justin Sun claimed he is one of the investors of the new Poloniex but it was Sun and his close people that acquired the exchange. It's not a selling of a share but the whole exchange was sold. Everything changed hands. Poloniex not only has a growing number of Chinese but full owned by people related to Justin Sun on his leadership.
any source for that? I would love to read it.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex no longer asks for verification of new users on: January 09, 2020, 12:18:17 PM
you do not need to do verification to trade on poloniex but when you try to withdraw it, you will be asked to.
it is too good to be true, when everybody is forced to do it. poloniex on the other hand gives us this option. I will not fall for this exchange again.
they have done enough.

As far as I know, the controller of The Poloniex exchange has changed,They need new users!good luck!
who is the new owner? is not it the circle?
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrew 60k USDC from Binance and it doesn't show on etherscan. Lost 60k???? on: January 08, 2020, 03:57:53 PM
This is the address client gave me 0x5aef590cffd215be0f75b70a868af7521b9d776b

So we withdrew everything to this

There is no single 60k transaction we sent, we sent 4 transactions all of around 15-16k as posted above
how about the address shown in your withdrawal status history?
Quote
As per checking, we noticed the transaction 6145405817 has reached the target account successfully
as per their statement above, it looks like your transaction went through. something is missing, need more detail.
there is no way they would say that if they had not checked it.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Strategy: Withdraw 50% ETH and looking to invest in Altcoin on: January 08, 2020, 02:55:51 PM
cutting 50% of ETH holdings are a bad move, we are expecting it to go pos in the near future. if nothing goes wrong, the increase in price is expected. you should have made it proportionally from the others, let's say you want to invest in titan for about $5,000 then you can try to reduce your position in bnb, eos, and eth. you can take $1,500 each from bnb, eos and $2,000 from eth(do not forget eth price paired with bitcoin goes down today if you are patient enough the price will recover and you will get profit from it).
310  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin hit 15K in 2020? on: January 08, 2020, 01:52:13 PM
Still, as the market has finally recovered (I believe), it’s now time to see where things could be heading up to the end of the year.
We cannot predict anything yet for now considering that bitcoin's condition is not as good as it was before. The incoming halving will surely make an impact to bitcoin which can either be positive or negative but it is more likely to be a good change. Let us hope for the best for this year and make sure that we are focusing on our investment and setting it ready for the possible bull run that may occur anytime soon. Stay optimistic about bitcoin and your investment so that it may attract good news and give you lots of benefits.
I think bitcoin condition is much better than before, because the price grows naturally(the demand comes from people who know something about cryptocurrency not from someone who follows the trend) unlike before it went up because of hype. today bitcoin breaches $8,000 resistance and we are expecting it to go higher again and then cooled down after it hits $10,000.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum after hard fork Istanbul on: January 08, 2020, 01:27:39 PM
Maybe other participants of the forum will try to dissuade me from buying this coin?

Since you asked for it, here you are:
For me all investments in PoS coins were a disappointment. All this happened before 2018.
And it makes sense. Just imagine, for Ethereum: in the past 2 years whoever wanted to accumulate, had plenty of opportunities to buy. After becoming PoS all these whales will have free coins to dump/sell.
Will this make the price rise or fall?  Wink
you can not generalize all of them because of a few bad actors, take a look at dash project. they are doing fine until now, the reason why the majority of them were scam because it is very easy to fork the code source and people love passive income. something different might happen when a real project uses it.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Public vs. Private Blockchain, which is better? on: January 08, 2020, 10:27:58 AM
for me, it should be public blockchain. I choose it because I do not use cryptocurrency for my daily basis, with public blockchain I can keep my profile anonymously while in private blockchain they have full control over their blockchain and my data is revealed to them. a private blockchain is good for a user that uses cryptocurrency daily because they offer a great transaction speed.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An uncertain future of Libra! Is it good for the crypto traders? on: January 07, 2020, 02:28:21 PM
definitely, if Libra can solve all its problems and launch its project in 2020, it will be very good for the entire cryptocurrency market, but it’s very hard for me to believe in such an opportunity. I think that they still have a very long way to go. I also believe that Libra is good for the market only in that it attracts the attention of people. as a cryptocurrency, it will be useless for all of us
it will not launch this year because of us election, even if it launches in the future the cryptocurrency market will only get a short term benefit from them to gain trust from the crypto community. you need to remember what mark did to his community a while ago, there is nothing good come out of it.
he might slowly kill cryptocurrency with his stablecoin because they are regulated and has a wide partnership(if they launch it).
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Altcoins Won't Moon Can't I Just Short the Hell Outta Them??? on: January 07, 2020, 01:52:48 PM
You can go margin on Binance easily. Just can use whatever coins you have as a collateral and borrow x3-5 in tokens you want. https://www.binance.vision/tutorials/binance-margin-trading-guide here is a guide for this with an example.
he is asking for decentralized exchange, binance is not a decentralized exchange.
you can try to use this exchange https://ddex.io/, I never use it before though so I can not say much about it.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Preferred altcoin for bullrun? on: January 07, 2020, 01:04:37 PM
BNB everyone! Cheesy It has the biggest potential to become a strong top 5 coin in the future and that's what you are looking for. Not just 5-10x but also strong volume and community using it aka adoption. You need a reason for a coin to retain it's value in other ways than being scarce since cos we can see if you have basically infinite amount of cryptocurrencies they are losing their unique value a little bit.. People have to be using them in some other way than holding.

And what happens whenever Binance gets hacked next week? I'm not saying that's going to happen because I don't know for sure. My point is, it's too reliant on one central place and I worry what may happen to cause that coin to be worthless. As far as a good altcoin to hold onto for the next bull run, Ethereum is probably the number one. With the new update coming and the BTC halving happening soon, it will more than likely make a pretty good return and it's really cheap right now.
also do not forget the fact that bnb reached its new ath last year which is very unlikely for it to go crazy because the price is not undervalued. it is understandable for you to recommend bnb when we are getting near to the bear market because they know how to maintain the price of their token, but right now we are getting near to the bull which means every undervalued project will retain its price again. why do not you buy something like stratis, eth that is clearly undervalued?
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: January 07, 2020, 11:52:38 AM
these past couple years bitcoin always made its move in the early of a new year, look at 2018 and 2019 for example. we are not out of the bear market yet, but I am sure we are moving toward it right now. if you do not know what should you do, then wait until the market changes.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Delists Coinbase Stablecoin USDC Trading Pairs on: January 07, 2020, 10:35:23 AM
I think this is lame excuse here on behalf of Binance. Actually every exchanger has their own future plan to establish and compit market. So it may be their any plan to compition with another exchanger. By the way, i think it will not come any negative influence on market.
how is it lame? they have their own stablecoin and they let people use other stablecoin on their platform? for me, it is a smart move to increase their stablecoin liquidity.
in order to survive in the competition, they need to think of a way to increase the volume of their stablecoin and letting people to use their product instead of others because people are using their platform. in business, something like this is very normal.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 888,888 KickTokens Frozen Drop to each of 167,375 crypto users on: January 06, 2020, 02:57:16 PM
I am part of those that received the 888,888 Kicktoken. I think the contract is locked because I tried sending out the token to kucoin but failed after checking coinmarketcap to know the exchange it's trading and volume. Is there any way to get rid this token from my wallet
There is no way to remove it from our wallet because the token's smart contract is locked. And we can't move it anywhere. This is one of the bullshit projects and the most useless airdrop I've ever known. I have checked their news channels but have yet to find an article regarding the date of unlocking these tokens, maybe they just want to advertise their project to everyone and don't want anyone to have it can sell it
did not they already mention it, they will us how to unfreeze it after they successfully launch their kickex exchange?
just wait for it patiently, even if they do not unfreeze it. nothing wrong will happen with your wallet and the balance inside of it.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: BURNY is coming back with a lot of surprises! on: January 06, 2020, 01:04:21 PM
Seems like a new addition to the list of deflationary token offerings without any real world use! Can you please help me understand the below sentence from the website?

Quote
Each time a Burny is transferred, 5% of the transaction is destroyed.

Transactions will be destroyed? Or will it be tokens?

Confused!
burny is not a new deflationary token, it has been here for months. it is as old as boom deflationary token, all of them do not have a real use case except burning.
the transaction token will be burned whenever we are making a transaction.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [UPDATED] Google banned Metamask from Play Store 1 week ago on: January 06, 2020, 12:08:20 PM
Actually I am Little bit worried. I just saw metamask in Google play store. Maybe it will take time to remove apps from play store.
you do not need to worry because they restored it back, you can use it again as usual.

It seems Google is behaving suspiciously lately.
I think it is understandable for them to do it, the reason they banned metamask before because they thought metamask is using the phone to mine cryptocurrency but the truth is not. that was why they made an apology and restored it back, for youtube they did that because they received a lot of reports about fake streaming.
