For me saving and investing is the same, investing is like saving for your future and it goes along with an interest, while saving is for your future but may not bear an interest or profit. But I recommend both for those who doesn't have either of the two.

My first time i heard about bicoins. That must be in november 2013. About 3 years ago. I saw an article in the journal about someone in norwegian or so who had baught some bitcoins in the beginning for a few dollars and now they seemed to be 1000 dollar worth. He had sold them all and bought an appartment with the money. He first had to search for his code and wallet.dat, but luckely he found it. Than i have been looking around for information about bicoin.

Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today?

Buying as much as Bitcoin at current price is long term investment. Buy and then just forget you have them. Lol. I mean after buying coins, just hold them until the price is is above 500+, 1000+ is even better. Does it have risk? Of course! every investment has its risk, it doesn't matter whether you invest your money on Bitcoin or other currencies, there's still risk. It can't be 100% safe.

Well for me first you should explain how bitcoin works and how to have it and where you can hold it.. and teach him how to convert bitcoin in to real money.. if they see that bitcoin is money i think it would be interested..

Gun control is about control. It isn't about guns.
Originally in the world, control was imbedded in respect for other people. The respect has withered so that control has been lost.
Probably in America (and many other countries) gun freedom should be re-introduced gradually. People will die, of course. But they are dying anyway. Guns aren't the cause of death. Lack of control is.
Once there is gun freedom, the people who don't respect others will die off. Respectful people will live on in peace.
Think about it. If we could remove all guns from the world like poof!, people would simply start making them again. Do you trust the police and military to be the only ones to have them? Better to arm all the people to the hilt, and let the disrespectful ones kill themselves off.

I know that feeling (like people looking at you as in seeing a celebrity and then asking things they don't believe until their impressed). I've spend BTCitcoin once only here in the country I'm residing and it was for a shoe (the only shop that accepts it openly here), and it took more than I expected (just a bad day). Had to wait until it got 3 confirmations before I was allowed to leave the shop (and it took longer than I expected before the confirmations came in).

The best thing you can do is, you can make different accounts on different trustworthy people's names, give them some commission for using it and get your EUROs transacted either way through exchanges online or Localbitcoins could help too... Just curious, would like to know why are you redeeming your fiat from BTC at this point when you know halving's going to take place and we might see some huge jumps ahead
