Maybe switching to POS would be a good idea in 100 years once the 21,000,000BTC have been mined. But, right now? Nah.

"100 BTC is not a huge holding in the grand scheme of thinhgs"
Apparantly, $45,800 is not a huge holding. That's what someone earns in a year.
Depends on which country u r from. For some countries, u may have a decent lifestyle for 30 years with $45,800. Take note that bitcoin is a global currency. correct. the question is, if 100 BTC is alot for an exchange and not if it is alot money for one person. Kraken is trading 10.000 BTC per day! and that is not the biggest exchange. So Kraken is SERIOUSLY exchanging 10,000 BTC per day? How much of a fee do they take? 5%?

I've stocked up on BTC10 when it was $200 a pop. That's $4,608 right now but I'm expecting the price to go up to $1,000 after the halvening and then they'll be worth $10,000.
You are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment... The Halving will not push the price up to $1000 any time soon.... That is very optimistic. If everything stays as it is, we might see a price range between $ 500 to $700 .... and that is still VERY optimistic. The $1000 high we saw last time, was due to the Willy bot, and people will not be fooled by that again. Just remember, some people will already start selling at $600+ and that will push the price down. I also bought some bitcoin at $200 and will definitely sell some at $600 to cover my initial investment and to pocket some profit. After the halving doesn't mean 1 or 2 months but more like 10-12 months. Plus, if I sold now, it would be 2x profit.

All I can say is good luck with the investment. I also think that the Bitcoin price will rise in the future so I myself believe this was a good thing on your side. But there is a chance that the Bitcoin price will drop and you've just wasted all of your savings on nothing. Good luck anyway man.

"All apartments include: Smoking allowed" I don't know if this is standard in Croatia, but for any non-smoker from the Western world this is an absolute no-go. You'd have to pay me (in Bitcoin of course) to stay there. Smoking is permitted in your own apartment. You can't feel the smoke. I don't understand your argument. It would be a good idea to have a usd value set so you cover your ass. An if they use btc to auto covert whatever % off the users get from using btc. I would recommend an auto sale of all btc that comes in to prevent huge loses on fluctuations that could happen through out the day. Bitcoin is still being implemented to the site. Nothing yet about it on there.

I use Copay, Blockchain, Coinbase and Electrum. Copay because it's sexy as fuck and I've had no problems with it. Blockchain because I needed an online wallet that's basic and does the job. Coinbase if I'm buying Bitcoin. Electrum because it's great and an alternative to Copay when I'm feeling like switching.

Probably because Bitcoin is fairly anonymous, they can't take any part in the transactions as a middleman and it's decentralized.

Again, I don't understand activity at all and don't understand the 2 week time. Could you explain when my activity will rise? Say you have 2 people, a spammer who might be like you who spams 30 posts in a day, and a normal guy called diamond From Lets say May 1st to 14th: you have 420 posts : Your activity = Time * 14 = 1* 14 = 14 ACTIVITY From Lets say May 1st to 14th: Diamond has only 3 posts : Diamonds activity = Time * 14 = 1* 14 = 14 ACTIVITY It basically means it doesnt matter how much you spam, a guy who only posts one post every 2 weeks will have the same activity as another who spams a million posts a day after 3 months. This is to prevent spammers from spamming just to increase activity and to get into signature campaigns or sell their accounts. Why do you want to increase your activity/rank anyways? Oh okay. Thanks. That explains a lot. I'm trying to gain activity to be able to increase my signature space and to be able to put on an avatar.

Why would the fact that China is basically controlling mining do anything to Bitcoin?
