WEBSITE (WIP) - DISCORD

Tipsy is a new Cryptocurrency Exchange aimed at the new generation of gamers and Crypto enthusiasts! Written in Python, Tipsy is designed to allow users to exchange coins any way they choose. We even have a Discord tip-bot! With a focus on security, Tipsy users need not to worry about security flaws within the site or Discord server. Take your coins anywhere with Tipsy!

My name is Aareon. I am in the United States military and I have been a Crypto enthusiast since 2013. For me, buying and selling coins has always been a social venture. I love to code, mostly in Python, but I also have a little experience with HTML, PHP, and quite a bit of experience now with MySQL. I began this project as only a tip-bot, but as soon as I realized that this is where I wanted to take this project, I began talking to the people. I asked around about whether or not an exchange would even be worth it, and the response I got was a resounding "YES!". Most users of the tip-bot loved the idea of an exchange being built around it. The support I got from the users was incredible.

I believe that if this project is to take off, then we need hands on-board. If you're at all interested, or just looking for a project to be a part of, take a look at these slots and see if you fit in, but we're always looking for new recruits;
  • Python Programmers (3 slots available)
  • Django specialists (3 slots available)
  • Info security (2 slots available)
  • Financial advisor (1 slot available)
  • Web designer (2 slots available)
  • Graphic artist (2 slots available)
  • Public Relations (2 slots available)

To do, to do, to do, to do, to do, to do, to do...
    • Create a modular/universal transaction tracker for use with the MySQL databases
    • Optimize Discord bot for use with modular tx tracker
    • Design website
    • Advertise the service
    • Add more items to the to-do-to-do list

    To wrap it all up
Now I ask, what are your thoughts? Are you interested?
    [/list]

Yes, I did read into the fork that rolled out in February. I also traded whatever LTC I had for GLD. Will hopefully soon create more trades with whatever else I can scrape together, haha.

Wow, thank you for the timely response! I really do enjoy the idea of a crypto "gold-standard". I'm not sure if I have a specific question. I assume this coin is PoW and not PoS. I guess that would be question numero uno.

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Question: Coin that doubles in rewards & diff by day on: December 14, 2016, 08:09:39 PM
Hello. I would like to keep this post short and sweet.

Is it at all feasible to create a coin that only outputs 1 coin a day and increases by *2 for each day the coin is online?

If this question is at all confusing, please do your best at answering, or ask for clarification. Thank you.
